The chemistry between Ralph and Billy on and off screen is just insane. They truly adore and admire each other so much and the amount of mutual respect is just so sweet. They are such an iconic duo
The team for Cobra Kai really deserve some credit. The way they made the arcs of Sam, Tory, Robby and Miguel line up to be not as hostile was perfect.

This season was the adult's story, last season was mostly the kids.
The adults storylines are the main attraction always.

The ending had me so hyped. Kreese is a badass.
What made it even more satisfying was that I was in a bad mood thinking they'd killed him off for the whole episode, so when the ending came it was just like... "HELL YEAH, that's my Kreese!"
the moderator was so good, she let everything flow smoothly and knew her stuff.

He definitely had the best lines. The "cut inch wide but miles deep" line gave me chills.

Miguel and Robbie finally coming together and solving their issues is easily my favorite part. I hope they don't make any more drama in future seasons between them because seeing them bond is so heartwarming and cool to see.

It was weird seeing Kenny's actor being such a sweet non-aggro dude. Shows how well they all are at acting. Love the show and super cool seeing Alanah as a host!
Yeah for sure. Him and Sam were probably the most hated characters on the show (for different reasons) but they are both sweethearts irl it seems.

@Ayustria Salma pretty awesome for Ralph to be doing it, considering he hasn't kept it up, right? Because there's lots of karate people his age who are doing it fine but because they have been doing it for years.

I’ll always remember watching this by myself on RUclips red and then telling my family about it as we are all massive karate kid fans. Now we binge every season in a day like most of you. Such a good show
Took my daughter (12) 3 years to convince me to watch it. Binged 3 seasons in 2 days when I finally did. Knocked out 4 & 5 immediately too.

I love how in season 5 Daniel had the support of his bullies from the first three movies as allies. Thomas Ian Griffith brought back the crazy energy of his character so well in season 5, it was great seeing how threatening he could be on his own and using him as a vehicle to introduce the sekai taikai tournament was brilliant.
Given that Silver was brought down by season’s end and with Kreese breaking out of prison but seemingly with gangland contacts. The writers have sown the seeds for some wild stuff to go down in season 6

I can't believe how they brought back Jessica, and not only that, but I finally got to see Elizabeth Ann Rooney (the girl Jessica referenced coming between her and her bf in Part 3). A deep cut if ever I saw one. These writers are simply extraordinary! It's obvious they're true fans of the material. Season 5 best yet!
This is the best show on Netflix. All 5 seasons are phenomenal.

@@vilnv exactly. Both shows play off of nostalgia whether it’s for the 80’s outfits, music, or just the entire 80’s atmosphere, they both use it. Just one takes place back in the 80’s and is a sci-fi drama adventure, while the other is a martial arts drama comedy set in modern day San Fernando Valley.
Alanah is such a great interviewer. Natural easy going and conversational. No cringe or awkwardness. Fantastic to watch. Do more interviews!! Lol
She did work at IGN remember. But yeah she’s great.
This was the best season and their were so many great character story arcs and redemption stories.

I think everyone just likes it because we go so long without a Cobra Kai season each time that they just froth at the mouth for it. Not to say I didn't enjoy the season, but it was probably the worst season so far.

It's crazy how this show has managed to make two "okay" sequels into legitimately good movies retroactively. That's damn good television

I love that the kids got their time, but the adults really got to shine this season. I love Johnny completing his journey to dadhood, I love all the old rivals coming together around the main conflict, and most of all I love that Daniel got his best character scenes yet! Putting him in places we've never seen before, showing us in the most thorough way how his past has shaped him, and letting him move past his fear and trauma and grow until by the end, he is the closest to Mr. Miyagi we've ever seen him. Balanced.
Honestly, words cannot express how much this show, especially this season mean to me. These writers are amazing and I have loved every second of it! Cannot wait for the soundtrack, and to see what happens in Season 6!

Billy obviously knows it's just acting but he genuinely seemed to be having a hard time watching Ralph's body getting the shit kicked out of him!!

As a person who enjoyed the first karate kid, I am beyond thrilled to see the original actors again doing what they do best, to see them 30 years later we are all 30 years older and to see how awesome everyone has turned out is such a breath of fresh air! To see Ralph and Billy go from being mortal enemies to become such good friends in season five was brilliant... the writers are beyond amazing. With the end of each season so many of us hope and pray that there will be another season, or for me personally many more seasons ❤❤❤ Keep em coming 👏👏👏

Ralph is 60 and Billy is pushing those numbers but both of these guys look amazing. It just goes to show that when you follow your dreams and endure through all the struggles, the ups and downs, that in the end it all works out. I think the quickest way to age yourself is to abandon your dreams and work a job. This will not only kill you but it will kill your joy and vitality.
This series always suprise me because they always make the new season can get even better from the last one...
They have the cutest shtick together there, Billy & Ralph. Great season, and this was fun.
The continuity is crazy good! They make call backs to so many moments that it’s as if the movies were made knowing cobra Kai would come out later😅
Silver is such a good villain, might be one of my favorites ever to be honest, alongside Negan from the walking dead lol he has a special place in my heart
I am so obsessed with this show that after i binged s5 i started watching again from season 1. Its just so fascinsting to me the continuation after 30 something years and focusing on Johnny lawrence also. All the actors back again for their role.
Love that Netflix have all 3 original KK movies on at the same time as this new series now, so the younger generation can actually looks back and understand the flashback scenes
All the cobra kai team already know each other, living day to day in the recordings makes them friends, not all of them will be friends, but they try to get along, they are a family, the main characters are Peyton, Jacob, Xolo, Mary, Ralph , Willian, among others, what a good program

The new breed were just as awesome as the originals. That should have been impossible to pull off but BRAVO SO SO GOOD
Love how Cobra Kai takes inspiration from 70s and 80s Kung Fu flicks and gives it a modern twist.

I can't wait to see what the writers do for season 6 I really want to see what they do with Miguel Tori and Sam and robby's characters. I want them all to become friends I think that would be cool.
I want more logical but yet believable drama between the characters of Robby, Miguel, Sam and Tory but with rational explanations like for example: Miguel still is getting the best grades up and throughout the remainder of his senior year but due to his commitment and loyalty to Cobra Kai and now eagle fang and miyagi doe he's got a potential scholarship that's being taken away from him do to his decline in his grades. I'd love to see them all under pressure to past their SAT's as they decide on wether they're gonna go to college and more importantly wether or not they will go away to college. The decline in Miguel's grades do to his commitment to Johnny and Eagle fang has effected his grades a bit and caused a wedge between he and Johnny. Johnny feels bad about it. Daniel and Amanda feel bad as well and they decide to pay for Miguel's scholarship in full to the college that he'd originally told Daniel he wanted to go to in the second season. Everyone is excited except Sam whom feels sad and upset because if Miguel takes Daniel up on his scholarship then he will have to go away to school. It was always Miguel's dream and he wants to go but he loves Sam as well so he is heavily conflicted. Silver finds out about this and he promotes to the public that anyone he joins one of his chains of Cobra Kai dojos and commits to a 3 to 4 year training regiment will be granted a full scholarship paid to any college of their choosing at the end of their senior year. This brings the valley highschool children back to Cobra Kai as most of their grades have plummeted do to everyone rushing straight after school to karate practice and no one really making time to do their homework except for Demetrius whom has a full scholarship naturally granted by doing the work in school. This drives another interesting wedge between he and Miguel of a little jealousy as Miguel feels one upped by Demetrius who doesn't know that him just talking openly and excited about his scholarship makes Miguel feel like a failure as he sadly leaves the room. Roby comforts Sam as she ask him about college and he explains that he never thought that he could actually go to college because of his poverty up bringing. He and Sam accidentally lock eyes and kiss. Sam stops him and ask about Tory.

@@lturner7159 I think that's a very interesting concept but I think that cobra kai is about karate and the rivalries so I think yeah the school aspect is important I also think that if they add a little bit more schooling in there mixed with some more fighting I think it would be cool but me personally I just want to see Robbie and Miguel and Tori and Sam not necessarily become friends but like become closer than what they were and still have like that healthy competition while working together maybe if they added a new like bad guy into the mix I think that would be cool too. Not saying what you wrote was bad because what you wrote was very interesting I just have a very shortened attention span so it didn't really hold my attention I kind of got lost towards the end but overall it was pretty good concept. 👌

I binge watched this when it came out. I binge watched it all as I learned about it from the beginning. I just cannot get enough. Love it. Can’t wait for season 6. Please please please do a season 6 and a 7 for that matter. So much can still happen with this great story. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here. A movie or movies would be fantastic as well

When Chozen fights Silver that was honestly the most bad ass cinematic moments of the show. It felt like it was a scene in a movie.
While everything is just amazing about this show, what I love the most is the fact that no character is shot down for the sake of someone else, like the older generation being shot down for the newer generation or vice versa and all the wins and defeats and all the character arcs make sense.
I liked how that break up between Miguel and Sam was handled, it was very sensitive, no one kicked off, no one karate chopped each other but if Miguel could take that time apart basically on the spur of the moment, he should respect Sam taking that time to sort her head out as painful for him as that is 🥹
Cobra Kai season 5 was a great season and this was a great video too with the cobra Kai cast and creators.
Love this cast, they seem like they had so much fun filming this. Also, let's go ahead and start the petition to get Dallas as a live action Miles Morales.
mate, my mind had a real fart moment when i opened both a funhaus video and this into a new window to then click on this and see Alanah. For but a brief second, i felt reality shitting on itself from my intense confusion.
I signed up for net flix because of cobra Kai . I didn’t see the first season but when I got it I’ve binge watched every single season. I haven’t been disappointed at all in the series.
