After the Hughes vs McKee fight, y'all spent all the analysis talking about what must have went wrong with McKee - rather than give Hughes the credit he deserves for cleanly beating McKee
Hope at this stage you can see how good Paul Hughes is. Great fight last night from both guys, they both have a huge future at the top of LW and I hope we get to see them fight again soon

Bro at this level they have not only nutritionists but performance coaches involved, checking heart rates etc. High level MMA is a science now, top level UFC fighters are trained to be at their peak on fight night. Merab is special because of his pressure and cardio, it was his route to victory and it worked. Umar has different routes to victory because he's better in different ways. If they fight 5 times Umar probably wins a couple.

Usman easily in top 10 of UFC lightweight division and only 26, unfortunately according to his manager he resigned with PFL for another 2 years probably because they expecting Islam to retire at 35 and Usman can get even better in meantime grinding in the gym and fighting tough guys like Hughes getting that needed experience that his brother Umar didn't really get because i believe they rushed him a little bit.

Josh the homeboy lol givin more truth here as pain to say, credit. Sayin didnt like what usman said in back. Basically refused a rematch cos hughes is a tough fight rather fight easier guys. Hughes looked more fresher and less beaten up at end no doubt. Reminded me of Islam vs volk 1. Like merab vs umar too , refreshing to see opponents not afraid of the name, bein mean and tough or have the cardio and you've got a good chance they are beatable espec when like to strike too and not have that khabib control and pressure ability.

I had Usman 4-1, minus the point. Crazy after the way the head but happened that Usman said for a little he didn't know where he was, which happens if you get knocked out but from a head but like that his energy was off for a little and other homie was playing to the crowd, so when I was watching I thought it was close, but I rewatched it and scored it 4-1. The left hook from Hughes you kept thinking could land, like a much tamer version of peiera, but Usman was too good and he didn't. But Usman and Umar both got tired in their fights, obviuosly Merab is better, but yeah it wasn't close in terms of scoring, but I was impressed and I don't follow PFL, but tuned in.

I do not know what fight those who say the fight was close and that Paul won have watched. I watched the fight a few times, and I can easily say that Usman clearly won rounds 1,2,3, and 5. Even the 4th round, which was probably Paul's best, was close and could have gone either way. Usman won fair and square, but yes, Paul had a good fight too. However, there's no way someone could say that he should have won or that it should have been a draw.

@ I’ve constantly heard about the fight happening. Now I must admit I was taking a break from doing things and seen there was a live play by play on mmajunkie, but it gave no source of where to watch it. I checked 3 more mma sites that were posting the results, but nowhere could I find the source while taking a break. Why can’t they pay mma sites to let people know where to watch it?

Gret pod my Josh himself. Respect. I apologise that I was so harsh in previeos pod. Because you dissrespected Merab. Pussy fraze etc. But you bounced back. Definetly if you will go in one last dance in BFFC! Like 👍

Josh stop with the crap your boy lost you know it and Usmans face before and after the scorecards were read says it all. Its disturbing humans can't just call it how it is because of their feelings. Usman gassed, and making excuses after the fight, refusing to rematch. All these rigged fights in the middle east. Then khabib wants to invite hughs to train so he can steal some routines so cringe. Take the L and prove your better next fight but excuses. Eye test does not lie.

Im a team khabib guy thru and thru. BUT i call a spade a spade, for me shit like usman saying he underestimated his opponent and him not having that killer instinct to fuckin put the guy away when thats the only way for him to win the fight... Rather he goes for hope and praying that he barely edged on points, as did umar also approach his fight!! Sorry dude but Especially given umars fight, usman gets a big F for his performance here and he needs to go back to the drawing board and learn that greatness is not achieved by being a scorecard fighter

Once again Josh is completely unreliable when discussing a Dagastani wrestler. Hughes won 3 rounds. Judging sucked. To say Usman won 4 rounds is laughable. Completely laughable. BEST CASE for Usman It should be a draw because of the point deduction. No way Hughes was getting a good scoring in Dubai
