The dual staircase would be so beautiful for a wedding, with the bride coming down one side and the groom coming down the opposite side. This is absolutely a gorgeous mansion.❤ I love it!
I wonder if it is because someone who is extremely rich would not want an outdated home. They would want the most up to date and personalised design. Also, such abandoned homes can be seen as bad luck, and when homes are left unused, they can start to deteriorate.
One of your best homes YET . . those bedrooms in the basement were probably for the "house staff" . . . a home that size would have to have SEVERAL people to take care of it - maybe a Nanny for the kids, too. A chauffeur, groundskeeper and a couple maids, too.
Have to say you have found some magnificent properties to show us this year. I take it, You knew somebody who let you in to film this place. This doesn’t strike me as a place where a door or window was left open.
Sometimes the lattice and screens are taken out of the windows bc it helps keep them cleaner over time and not trap dirt. I use to be a subcontractor and we’d put the screens in only after the home was sold and being moved into.
Loved your last video, as always. Will be looking forward to seeing this one, thank you for your videos, I truly enjoy them very much. Hope you and your family are doing well ❤ GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND STAY SAFE AND WELL ❤❤💜💜🩵🩵💛💛💚💚
Hey 👋 Bigbankz, very interesting mansion but can’t stop wondering what could have caused these people to abandon such a beautiful structure. My favorite part of this video definitely the staircase, and the carpet upstairs, very distinguished. Thanks for sharing! GBY!👍
Watching from Alabama, and this entire house is amazing. It’s so sad to see homes like this and know that they’re going to be torn down. Just think about all the memories in that house. This was an excellent video and of all the explorers I watch, you are hands down my fav. You are always so respectful and you do a great job showcasing these properties. Merry Christmas!
My kids had that same Alligator in the 80s. One day at the Beach both girls 7&8 we're "riding" it where the surf meets the shoreline And Laughing Hysterically!! Well our pittie Rottweiler mix thought they were being attacked by the Alligator and in a lightening streak he was down there grabbed the "Alligator" by the throat & shook him till he was completely deflated. He dragged it up the beach to me so proud he had saved His Girls🐾😅
Wow incredible amazingly beautiful. The land is breathtaking! Huge place. Ideal for united families , I would want to live in a house like this but I would bring parents , brothers , sisters , sons , daughters , every relative to live all together 🙏
I am a rock hound, and I believe the red stone in the entrance and throughout where the white marble is, is jasper. I have quite a few pieces of jasper in different colors. It's just a guess. And I am watching from Montana.
I really like seeing these awesome looking abandoned mansions and seeing what was left behind afterwards and this is definitely a nice huge mansion with a magnificent look to it both on the inside and on the outside with a wonderful looking yard on the property as well until next time take care and thanks Merry Christmas.🇺🇲🏰🇺🇲
What an incredible house...i can't even imagine why they would just let it go like that...there was a stairway to the attic...wonder what was up there...people stored many things in the attic...that would have been interesting 🤔. Good job on this !
Watching from Camas, WA. I have watched several different explorers, but you are my favorite. You are very knowledgeable. If you don't about something, you ask. I look forward to your videos each week. Thank you for what you do. I have to say this is one of my favorite videos. The bext would be the mafia mansion.
You never disappoint that's for sure❤This place is stunning, and the staircases are my favorite. Each room is beautiful, and the rooms in the basement i believe were for the maids, maybe, but that bed was awesome. It's terribly sad to see this be knocked down. I thank you for the tour & again you have the best videos... Love and Hugs to you and your family from Ky 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Some cultures build homes to house multiple generations, IDK if the Chinese are one of them. But it appears to have housed about 4 generations or families. You should search for the significance of painting ceilings that color blue. There's a purpose, whether it's to deter insects or ward off spirits. I didn't see the second set of stairs going into the basement.... I'm spoilt to Kappy's way of touring houses... I always get lost with your tours 😂😂 Thx as always 🫡
This is going to be a good one! Look at this place! I am in awe of these huge mansions and you seem to be as well. I cannot wait to have my mind blown. **By the way, I anticipate which Bible verse you begin your videos with every time. Praying that you and your family (also praying for your son) will have a wonderful and blessed Holiday season.
I’m in Michigan and freezing! That sauna would feel wonderful about now. My favorite part was that double staircase. How grand and spectacular. Talk about a first impression! The master bedroom is my dream bedroom and I bet it was stunning in its day. The outdoor balcony and the theater room were both a close second. However if that waterfall and water feature by the driveway, was on I have no doubt that it would be my most favorite thing. This estate would be gorgeous for a wedding venue. You have shown me how to appreciation architecture and to see the beauty in it. It’s not always pretty but it sure is beautiful. Thank you!❤
Hello from Texas. Very nice place. Looks like 90s decor judging by the window treatments. Love the double staircase best. Too bad it goes to waste. Personally, I'd never want anything that big regardless of how much money i had. Way too much of a headache and upkeep.
Just did a house in Barrington with a massive pool house like this 3 story had to build a platform to paint and drywall the ceiling had a bathroom in it sitting sria with a fire place it's own hot tub and 2 entrances from the living room with a clear glass railing balcony way amazing
This house is so well made with quality materials. Such a shaime to see it go to waist. 😢 with all the homeless and economic crisis it is just a sad thing to see.
so beautiful, why would anyone want to demolish this. I cant understand the thinking of these people, wont be long and every thing beautiful will be gone
That little, tiny bowl is a sake cup. The reason sake pitchers and cups are so small is because it starts with a fernented liquid like wine. That is boiled in beer, and the finished product has a higher alcohol content than liquor. It doesn't take a lot of sake to plant even a heavy drinker on their face. That's why the cups are so small. That rancid smell could very possibly be kimchi, which is fermented and seasoned cabbage. Marble has a spiritual meaning in Chinese culture. It is an important element in Feng shui. It balances yin and yang and protects against negativity wherever it's present. That counter with the incense sticks was an alter where food was placed for ancestors to eat on the anniversary of their deaths. It was specifically held by immediate family members, and each person would light an incense stick and stand it straight up in those containers. This is why you never stand your chopsticks up in any food anywhere in Asia. Doing that is considered an insult.
Such a shame it’s going to be demolished the mansion was so nice, they left so many things behind. How do you rest knowing you left those things behind. That kitchen was massive, shame it’s only going to get destroyed just a crying shame. I wonder if they take out some of the good appliances and light fixtures and tvs, so much to mention. What we would give to get a place like that😢 love watching your videos you do a nice job. Your just so relaxed doing your videos
Looks like another exciting house Thanks always for sharing ❤ Your the best❤ Another beautiful mansion that’s going to go waste it’s so very Heart wrenching!! Shame on the bank just to let this get destroyed instead of coming in and cleaning it up and put it on the market. Another tax payers money (:
I traveled for a month once and my fridge broke, when I got back and opened I swear it was 10x times worse than this freezer, so much bugs it was insane
The dual staircase would be so beautiful for a wedding, with the bride coming down one side and the groom coming down the opposite side. This is absolutely a gorgeous mansion.❤ I love it!
Thank you for sharing this with us. I will never understand why something this beautiful would be demolished and rebuilt.
Agree
I wonder if it is because someone who is extremely rich would not want an outdated home. They would want the most up to date and personalised design. Also, such abandoned homes can be seen as bad luck, and when homes are left unused, they can start to deteriorate.
Mr. BigBankz, you are the only explorer I will ever follow!!! The others seem so rushed and miss the parts most want to see! Kudos, my man!!
Mother of Pearl is the inlay of that picture &used in guitars & other items beautiful breathtaking play!
I used to have a guitar with mother of pearl inlay. It was gorgeous!
Third time I have seen this house on you tube! It’s the best! You do such a beautiful detailed job showing this gorgeous house.
It looks still in really good condition. Sad to see these left to rot and tear down
One of your best homes YET . . those bedrooms in the basement were probably for the "house staff" . . . a home that size would have to have SEVERAL people to take care of it - maybe a Nanny for the kids, too. A chauffeur, groundskeeper and a couple maids, too.
At 35:18 it’s an altar probably for ancestors where they burned incense.
That WEDDING DRESS WAS A MESSAGE!!!😂😅.... The home itself is in great condition!!
I agree....very telling for sure
What a very stunning home! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤
Have to say you have found some magnificent properties to show us this year. I take it, You knew somebody who let you in to film this place. This doesn’t strike me as a place where a door or window was left open.
What a beautiful mansion! It does not make sense to tear this home down! Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏼
Agree
Such a waste to level it. So much goes into building it and it goes to waste. Its like pointless.
Sometimes the lattice and screens are taken out of the windows bc it helps keep them cleaner over time and not trap dirt. I use to be a subcontractor and we’d put the screens in only after the home was sold and being moved into.
Loved your last video, as always.

I'm overwhelmed so lovely....how wasteful can we get? A dream home that most would love to have. Sooo sad shame on the destroyer. 21:51
This would’ve been a dream as a kid… forget the house! The pool alone would’ve been amazing!
I hate to see places like this torn down. That GRAND entrance is unbelievable, awesome.
Oh hell yea that video is going to be a amazing video

Mother of Pearl that’s what the enlay was on that are in the floor ❤
All those ac unit's 😮
We are so wasteful. Why demolish this? The staircase reminds me of Tony Montana's mansion.
Thanks!

I would’ve thought that mansion was worth more than 7 million!
It’s enormous, but the materials are all basic- to mid-level builder grade.
