Stu Duncan 1982 here :-) yes growing up with this music was legendary. Uk garage got me into mixing. Fun fact, I was taught to mix by Scratchy d. He was a garage dj before becoming a grime mc. When I first got decks and had little vinyl, he used to leave his radio record box at my house. Felt so good having loads of the best beats to mix. I wish he kept up dj'ing as he could mix so smooth. I was always amazed how good he was. Especially the way he could mix any wookie tune with practically anything. I might even have an old mix tape or 2 somewhere. I'm gonna dig out my old tapes.
