And that's probably what THEIR agency requires. Look at what the Supreme Court ruled about Miranda Warnings. You are NOT required to unless you are questioning them about a specific crime. People get it confused because all these cop shows do it. Each state also has their own rules regarding the Miranda Warnings.

Just like they think they have a phone call at the jail and that actually is a privilege not a right. I personally worked in the jail now awaiting feb to go to ga state patrol school.
