Naw unfortunately he used margarine...and if you honestly think that margarine and butter are even significantly close to one another food wise, you need to do alot more research and step back and look at the obesity epidemic in this country and realize that the food industry paid off the FDA back in the day to misguided American people into eating a completely unhealthy diet, and in the long run putting more money into insurance companies pockets. It's one of the biggest scams in American history and more people have died from it than every major war combined. You think I'm playing, look it up.

Escaping a bad situation in person but being unable to escape it in my head when I’m asleep. These videos and this whole community have been an absolute life saver. Stressed about finances and health and family but I can get to sleep most nights due to these videos ❤️ Thanks Aussie man honestly I can’t thank you enough. I live two hours north of Sydney and hearing a familiar accent and the safely that it brings is just incredible. You are making massive positive differences in people’s lives. Thank you so much.

Lol same. Irish birthday parties consisted of your ma's butterfly buns, rice crispy buns and jelly and ice cream. Can't forget the Caterpillar cake if you're 35 or younger. Otherwise it was a spectacular, royal iced rectangle cake with hard piped icing sides, happy birthday written in blue or pink and a metallic foil decorated band round the outside. Not gonna lie, those cakes were the best.

I’m not sure if this goes for everyone but in the US in the more poorer areas we would eat something kinda similar. It was margarine on bread with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top.

So, I’m from the US (North Carolina to be exact). My dad was Air Force growing up. I remember going to a birthday party in like Kindergarten and that kiddos mom was Australian and there was fairy bread at his birthday party. I have made this numerous times over the years and people always looked at me like I was crazy. Now I know why…this isn’t a typical treat in the US!!

Fucking genius idea for a cheap effective kid approved snack, especially at a party. In America it’s legit just like regular party fare( burgers, hotdogs, pizza, etc. items easy to mass produce for guests that kids usually like). Then straight to cake an ice cream. Sometimes you got party favors but those are usually chips(crisps?), veggie tray, or straight up cheap candies(lollies and whatnot). I always liked it though when kids moms would go all out and get really creative with the party favors and food.
(Also forgot to note that party favors can be cheap toys that kids get to entertain themselves)
Hope this was a nice glimpse of what an American children’s birthday party is like
