I actually liked the nfs 2015 police mechanism/physics, seems more realistic.. if just they were smarter like putting spike strip few metres before a roadblock or sending faster police cars if player uses higher tier cars.. rather than seeing a K9 SUV that could catch up w your lambo in mere secs after crashing.

I think the reason the cops weren't soo hard in this game was since they are just your everyday cop they aren't bounty hunters who are destined to catch national most wanted criminals who cause havoc and possibly take many lives while racing and causing destruction in the city, this game isn't about any of that it's just about some group of friends trying to be famous and trying to have fun soo that's why the cops are too tame because they are normal cops who are doing their jobs catching people drive above the speed limit and just letting them go with a fine not throat cutters like in rivals or most wanted soo kinda makes sense for this game to have bad cops
12 minutes to reach Level 5, only to lose them in a minute. Even though it's a really good car, this just feels like poor balancing. There's a lot of great things about this game, but MAN was the police one of the things that needed more work/thought.

The cops in this game are a joke to me. Seriously even if you are driving at Heat Level 5 they will barely tap you with their Crown Vics? And no chopper? Dammit EA. They should've included a Rhino in there for roadblocks and chargers just like MW 2005 did. For example in Rivals, every cop car feels like a Rhino when they are charging at you head on. They will not stop annihilating you until you are dead, and I like Rivals, in which the game itself followed MW 2005 and HP 2010's footsteps, the cops in Rivals are deadly and brutal. In this game, the pursuits are disappointing. No spike strips, no chopper, only cops with Crown Vics barely chasing and side-swiping your car. They should've made the Crown Vics as the Civic Cruisers, the Nissan GT-R for State Cruisers, and the McLaren 570s for the Federal Cruisers. And they should come in a horde. MW 2005, Carbon, Hot Pursuit 2010/Remastered, and Rivals' cop chases stand out compared to this game, it's just disappointing.
I tone down my cars to around 450HP or i keep it fully specked and just go slow around them in the city, i love when they put the spikes in, i try to juggle them to pop their tires! They are goners after that!! Then i try to find the way to the highway and dip when i’m bored of the chase. But when i want a challenge, i pick a fight with the chargers!
NFS 2015 is a disgrace to the series. Overall just a huge joke that demonstrates the stupidity that EA presented beyond games like Most Wanted 05, Carbon, Hot Pursuit, and Rivals. Glad they learned in later games.
Wdym disgrace? It perfectly replicates the feel of old games. It has narrow mountain passes, highway and light colors constantly change changing the mood along with it. Nfs heat has wide roads, all the roads feel the same and colors are always the same retro pink with mint green, you can't separate normal roads from highways and not even a single mountain pass. This game is just a perfect representation of underground 2, with similar map design and gameplay other than cops. If anything this game deserves the nfs title with newer titles getting worse and worse and getting further and further from street racing to more big map big races more freedom, it's pretending to be forza. They added offroad man offroad, this is not nfs anymore. I finished nfs heat modified tons of cars and enjoyed every bit of it but that doesn't mean it's a good nfs game, 2015 is definitely better. Oh, and nfs 2015 has anime bobas but I'm yet to find bobas in nfs heat, so yeah checkmate. Also old games are overrated and outdated so please sync your clock and come back from 2005.
