I put a lot of money into a system..Hotas.. etc.. This is all an old man like me has.

So fdev said leaving your srv will be a fade to black. So what happened to the neil armstrong moment? I love this game but sick of bugs and dissapointment. The you dont have horizons bug is just the latest in a long line of things.i have no faith in fdev anymore.
"9g planets are going to be out of the question, who wants to be squished like a pancake as soon as you get out?" - Errr, doesn't gravity still affect you while still in the vehicle? If it was going to squish you like a pancake you'd already be a pancake puddle in your seat before you even landed. (i.e. you don't stop feeling the effects of gravity when you get in your car do you? lol) As for the consoles lagging behind in 'first footfall' tags, why not hold off tagging until ALL platforms have the opportunity to participate. That should be an easy fix.
Bullshit, they wont fix anything if people figure out how to cheat lol. They were stupid enough to teleport someone back down from the anaconda graveyard when he "got stuck" and he had tags in a system that shouldnt have tags. Carriers came out and now you can get there and back easily but for them to say they actually give the slightest fuck about, or are competent enough to prevent people from cheating, is kinda a slap in the face
When this releases on PS5 I’ll be in my favorite system on a planet I’m ready to walk on. Hopefully, it’ll be suitable for that. Question, do you think they’ll add a planetary icon to the system map representing which planets are suitable for footfall?
Wonder if they'll let us land on the moon and stick a replica of the lunar lander encased in a memorial bubble. Looking better and better the more they reveal.
If sb can tell me: Will we be able to 1. drive 2 srvs in multicrew at the first time, in one ship? and 2. land on mars, moon and maybe earth-like worlds? (not argueable with gravity, -> high-g-planets also landable)

Another disappointing AMA, it’s seems that Fdev doesn’t want to share something else than obvious answers since they announced the delay. We only know about FPS and new planets for « the biggest update ever », nothing about salvage or other gameplay loop they mentioned previously... Sounds pretty bad ...
Anyone but me think the helmet on the male model looks like it would suck to look out of???? Those two big vertical pillars on the face mask look like they would block your view. Just saying.

That's a massive disadvantage to gaining Planetry rights and settlement rights. I could be blown up for visiting a newly owned of player settlement. This new phase of Elite should be released at the same time. This is huge not a new ship phase but a galaxy changing release so it should be released at the same time. PC players are not any better than Xbox or PS4+5 players. We are the same community so let's keep it that way. Console players will be on the back foot if Frontier continue the way their currently heading in the release order. Community together... Release Odyssey as one like our community. No arguments to right of passage to new found planet's n settlement's. Little chance of players claiming before some of us even get a chance to gain passage rights... WAR mongering if the release together as 1 community is ignored.
Nothing I can do to make sure you get alerts for livestreams. But you can turn on notifications on the watch page by clicking the bell icon, that should fix it. Also there won't be any player owned settlements, planetary rights or passage rights, there are just tags for being the first person to set foot on them.
They need to make it where people can disembark on 9g planets. Just give them a cool death animation and let it be. Make Elite dangerous dammit. Black hole should kill you. Accidentally crashing into a planet while traveling 20 times the speed of light should kill you. Damn it. Make some planetary Predator. As an Explorer I want these kind of risks. I often times hear people harping on immersion this and that but the absence of these things in game really does nothing to help immersion. Sure there's some crybabies out there who want to be able to play like a bunch of zombies and not really pay attention to what they're doing and still survive. Screw that. Shut up. Eat your rebuy.
