buggy took slices from mihawk who has a black blade and survived. buggy also has muggy bombs which can blow up small cities. i dont see hidan surviving an explosion.

Dude said Sasori has more going for him than Dofflamingo. Clearly he's operating on a bias. Sasori has a limited amount of puppets he can utilize, where as Dofflamingo has the ability to transform his surroundings into more strings and then utilize them as he sees fit. No matter what the battleground is, Dofflamingo has the terrain advantage. Also, his ability to control people like puppets is at least on par with Sasori, as we saw in the flashback of him taking over Dressrosa that he used his strings to seize control of the army and force them to slaughter the citizens.

Naruto scaling has always been weird since Kakashi vs Zabuza is seen as a jonin tier fight yet Gaara vs Lee is seen as a fight between an intense fight between Genin yet the fight with Kakashi and Zabuza was no where near as intense

Notice how each of those fights occur after each other. Powercreeps in Shonen manga are super common. It’s super obvious with Orochimaru vs The 3rd Hokage, it was way to early for Kishimoto to properly display Kage level power. You see the same in One Piece with Crocodile losing to a pre-timeskip Luffy with no gears, only to later on clash with Mihawk & Doflamingo.

Brook's devilfruit alone is crazy man. I think it actually confirms some sort of afterlife in the one piece world since he can eat/drink, he poops because of it, and his muscles still somehow move his body without the normal level of fatigue since he feels light by his own perception. I have a feeling Brook's devilfruit is going to play a major role in the story. Maybe even saving someone from an untimely death after an act of ultimate sacrifice... *cough* law... *cough*

Buggy walked on spikes. He can’t be pierced either. Additionally, no, If Hidan is decapitated, he can’t just inch himself back together. His limbs must be sewed back on to function again. We see this with Shikamaru’s paper bomb trap. All the pieces were right there in the hole but Hidan died anyway. Just take the head, pin it to the ground with a knife or kick it into a lake and u win.

Crocodile speed blitzed akainu, and outsped marco. He also has (nearly)admiral durability, aokiji took similar damage when both of them got hit by jozu.
I’m pretty sure the reanimated characters had unlimited stamina and chakra so it’s more of a hack they get that allows them to fight on a way higher level never having to worry about chakra consumption/fatigue

That's not quite true. Hidan needs somebody's help in order to reattach his severed limbs. Buggy can disassemble and reassemble himself at will. If Buggy starts cutting pieces off Hidan, he would win the fight.

When it comes to equal stats, it would be a double KO with Sasori going down first and then Doffy living on for a few days before he dies because of the poison gas. One Piece characters, even early on in the story are shown to consistently take huge amounts of punishment and still continuing the fight. An in universe example would be Luffy wailing on Magellan at full force despite been administered an ungodly amount of poison. I don't think Sasori gets nearly close to the sheer quantity or quality of poison Magellan commands

And we don’t know if Doffys body could resist sasoris poison as he’s never gotten hit by a poison before let alone Sasoris, Doffy might be able to go on for a bit after taken a hit from sasori, but once sasori starts wearing him down with more and more poison he’s gonna ultimately get overwhelmed leaving sasori a chance to easily finish him off.
Doesn't Sharingan genjutsu only work if you are looking at the user? In that case, Law can beat Itachi easily by using Observation Haki. Anything in Law's room, he should be able to sense so he wouldn't need his eyes to see.
Law's room completely negate genjutsu. Cause remember the genjutsu just manipulate ur 5 sense not ur consciousness and willpower. Law could literally do anything in his room including break out from any genjutsu via his DF and willpower alone. Law is the ultimate counter to any Sharigan users (unless the sharingan user have greater Haki than Law)
If we're equalizing the power system across verses. Any sufficiently strong Haki user (think Law and up) can negate genjutsu, sealing and any sort of hax. Source : Law was turned into a woman and willed himself back by consuming some Haki.

So uhm... how you gunna get blood from buggy? Normally Hidan uses his special scythe to CUT an oppononet so he can draw their blood buggy cannot be cut. Meaning Hidan needs to get up close and stab buggy, except buggy can split himself at will as a way to dodge the attack. Honestly, best way to make Buggy bleed is to punch him in the face.
stabbing wouldnt work either hed have to punch buggy to make him bleed. hes immune to all cuts piercing is not different buggy walked on spikes in impel down and it didnt hurt him.

The argument haki is the only thing that affects logia is because haki is the only energy in OP and not everyone has it, every ninja even a genin has chakra and use it to strengthen their bodies
Hidan still loses that match even with immortality. Because he can't do anything to buggy, and buggy doesn't even have to kill him. Hidan got beaten by rubble, by just getting trapped. All buggy has to do is lop his head off and trap him under rubble with a buggy ball. And I will say, while he does do a piercing motion, his blade on his weapon is big enough to sever things with the weakest attacks, he's gonna be slashing at buggy even if he does a piercing motion, not that he can hit buggy. Now with crocodile, there is an easy reason, why he would win. Hes a logia. *Deidera can't fucking touch him*
Bruh One piece characters wouldn't even need to use their abilities half the time because they MASSIVELY outweigh Naruto Charcters in almost every stat be it strength, durability, endurance, speed or power. Kuma's Ursus shock easily outdoes Shinra Tensei which only wiped out a village, while Kuma hit an entire island an then multiple kilometres of surrounding ocean. Doflamingo vs Sasori is a MFKN slaughter, Doffy tortures Sasori with his marionette after it finishes ripping his puppets to shreds lol
It's general in anime where being fast is just hitting fast not harder. Look at OPM Sonic he is weak in physical stats and needed weapons just to fight Deep Sea King. Another example is Shinra he is already faster than light at season 2 but his damage is only for one person not planetary Llight speed punch in Comics is equivallent to white dwarf despite lacking mass you just have to move fast and gain enough momentum where in anime you just hit fast not hard.
Hidan wouldn't be able to collect Buggy's blood with his scythe, because blade attacks are completely ineffective against him. Even Mihawk, who has immense levels of Haki wasn't able to hurt him with his sword.

As for why reanimated characters are stronger in thw fourth war arc: They have infinite chackra, wich means infinite stamina and mental fortitude, also, infinite regeneration and imortality.
How could Crocodil lose at equal level when he has the ability to transform into sand and become intengible? The explosion would only scatter the sand which would replenish itself, not to mention the fact that it could very well seep into the ground and become completely unreachable. How can Doflamingo lose against Sasori on an equal level? He literally has the power to manipulate anything he wants without limit in number or distance with his unbreakable strings. He also has the Haki of observation and enhancement and which would protect him from any poisoned harm. Only gas could work but Doflamingo also has the conqueror's haki and between him and Sasori, we clearly see who has a more conquering spirit than the other. The creator of this video seems to deal with the subject without really taking into account all the abilities of the characters or does so when it suits him. This thing about the speed of light and the speed multiplier is so much bullshit. Why would they use projectiles and thrown weapons if they were going that fast? And would a kunai thrown at the speed of light just crash into a tree as we see hundreds of times? No, the tree would literally explode like the other 20 behind it. It wouldn't use a bow, crossbow, dart or gun if the characters were actually going at those speeds. This whole light speed thing is totally stupid. Some fights would only last a fraction of a second even if the action is slowed down so that we can see it but the problem is that the rest of the world also seems to be going at the same speed seen as very often, there are time constraints to respect (like Freeza's 5 minutes in DBZ) which always seem to be tight even though the fight should only last less than a second at this speed. People also apparently speak at the speed of light when they fight and shout the names of their attacks or exchange words. Even their words which should go at the speed of sound apparently also go at the speed of light so that they can hear and respond to each other directly. Still other arguments to say how stupid this story of such exaggerated speed is?

these calculations are outrageous, people tend to forget something very important, most of the contestants fight with a strategy in mind and the only calculation that should actually be considered is the narrative. The warlords that lost to Luffy lost not because Luffy became stronger throughout the fight, it's a long non-ending running gag on one piece that all strategies and plans fail when paired with the chaotic nature of the straw hats (even their own plans on certain arcs). When it comes to it, one piece fights almost always are a glorified Mike Tyson quote ("everyone has a battle plan untill they get punched in the face" or something similar). There is no point in trying to compare them with any of the akatsuki because they are malleable like rubber (pun intended) and their potential is and always will be on par with the narrative. Yes, Oda (One Piece author) retcons everything whenever he wants to when it comes to the characters he has created, you want to have fun with comparisons I understand but untill the series end we only will be finding more and more inconsistencies when it comes to abilities and strengths.

@@virginactivity2977 been reading it for two decades actually, and i stand on the fact that there is no point in calculating OP characters potential cause it ain't that kind of series, I do not find it as a plot hole, it has been there from the start, durability and strength of certain characters is often inconsistent and basically their will is the thing that keeps them going, something that is not calculated by sheer numbers, instead you can understand it from the context of the plot. For the examples you mentioned and for some others I have in mind atm, Luffy has great imagination and is not afraid to try stuff he thought out of the box, but they certainly don't always work

The best example of how the power scaling is ridiculously flawed is claiming that base Luffy is stronger than G4 Luffy because he learned Ryuo. It's not a power boost, its a technique. Instead of just a punch, he can punch you through thick armour like dragon scales. It's a projection of his existing strength, which would have been slightly honed after the prison arc. By the end of Wano, he's somewhat stronger, but youll feel the punches in your gut, and your back

It would not be a stretch to argue they don't actually move at the speed of light. The only character we do know who moves at the speed of light, according to himself, is Borsalino (Admiral Kizaru). And he is commonly portrayed to blitz a vast mnajority of the characters he goes up against, with the only characters ever shown to be able to react to him at all being Dark King Rayleigh and, MANGA SPOILERS, Luffy on Egghead. Important to note here is that both characters were shown to interfere with certain attacks from him, we have not seen anyone able to consistently match his speed. And even though Luffy did fight him out to a draw, Kizaru has on multiple occasions used his speed to get around Luffy and try to attack his friends instead. Luffy was mostly able to stop him because A: he knew where Kizaru planned to go, or B: he had the element of surprise on his side.
powerscaling math always makes me simultaneously crack up and also kinda mad. Manga authors rarely actually know what "the speed of light" entails. POWERSCALERS certainly don't. And that's okay, but people refuse to put their calculators down and enjoy a series without breaking down mathematically if a character could beat another character from another series, something that was never once intended in either character's creation. Luffy doesn't "dodge" lasers. He *positions himself so they wouldn't hit him, because he has precognition.* That's the whole point of that scene. Not that he's suddenly SO FAST, but that his haki has advanced to this level, that he was never in danger. He's not "560xFTL," he just knows what's going to happen. And yeah, the entire argument is based off of "x beat y so x is as strong as z," is transitive, which isn't how REALITY works. One Piece as a setting is cartoony. Naruto is more grounded. Nobody from Naruto is going to be able to out-serious the loony toons shit One Piece characters get up to.

Katakuri's usage of it is just highly advanced. It's still the exact same ability, just extended until it counts as having visions of the future. It's not something else, it's not a separate ability, Katakuri is just REALLY GOOD at Observation Haki, and Luffy got good at it to match him. That's all it is.

I'll never get speed scaling in anime. You got pirates slowly sailing using wind to travel, but if they are so fast then they should just swim everywhere. Devil Fruit users could just sink, and then run on bottom of ocean. They could run around the planet tons of times before needing to come up for air
I don't think One Piece characters can move at the speed of light except for Kizaru. And I don't even think Kizaru can move freely with his devil fruit. I think he has the potential to move with lightspeed but since his reaction time can't keep up he can only move in straight lines. However, I am convinced that Observation Haki allows characters to react to attacks at the speed of light. Also, I find these multipliers from the Gears kinda weird, nowhere was it said which stats are increased when he transforms. It could also be that Luffy's attack potency is being increased, not his speed.
Idk about multipliers but obviously his speed is increased. In gear 2 he became too fast for Blueno who he couldn't catch before in base and he could keep up with Lucci who is multiple times stronger than Blueno. With Gear 4 he could fly and was faster and stronger than Doffy. Snakeman he became fast enough to hit Katakuri even with his future sight. So idk about multipliers but speed is definitely increased alot

All Gear 4 forms are equally strong, Luffy just changes his stats. In Bounce man he is the most balanced. Tankman is only for Defense and Snakeman is his speed form.

That channel throws light speed around way to much and Buggy was definitely not on the same level as Luffy in Impel Down since Luffy obviously was not fighting at his best. Buggy’s best quality is the versatility of his df to dodge attacks and maneuver and his charisma to convince others to help him. In terms of power Buggy is pretty weak compared to anyone in the New World and is probably around the ranges of Arlong Park Luffy or Luffy when he enters the Grandline for his actual power

As for Speed in one piece (i'll only use the exemples i have with concrete numbers, i'll refer to lightspeed as @): Luffy dodged lightspeed at base form with mid difficulty against foxy, so at least 1x@, he unlocked gear 2, wich is a 10 times multiplier, douring the 3d2y movie (wich is actualy cannon), he was at base form going toe to toe with byrnnid world at his base form, then byrnnd used the amplified form (wich the databook says it's a 100 times speed multiplier) and luffy use gear 2 to blitz the amplified version, wich means post timeskip gear 2 is at least a 100 times multiplier, but since it's a movie and not a manga content, i'll not use it in further calculations (i'm lowballing all this very hard since there are many luffy power ups we can't actualy calculate) but since post-timeskip luffy is faster then pre-timeskip gear 2 luffy, he's now at least: 10x@ at base. 100x@ at gear 2. Then he used gear 4 boundman, wich is 3 times faster then gear 2. 10x@ at base. 100x@ at gear 2. 300x@ at gear 4 boundman. The powerup in whole cake is more about atually percepting attacks at that speed with better observation haki and learning futuresight, so we won't count it. Then at wano... this 300x@ gear 4 luffy... was blitzed by base form kaido. Then luffy got a training arc and went from being blitzed by base form kaido at gear 4 to going toe to toe with base form kaido at base, so now he's: 300x@ at base. 3000x@ at gear 2. 9000x@ at gear 4. Then... this gear 4 luffy... got blitzed by the hybrid form of kaido, after that he got the 2 conquerer coating powerups and started dodging the same attack that blitzed his previous gear 4 when fighting hybrid kaido while in base form, so now he's: 9000x@ at base. 90000x@ at gear 2. 270000x@ at gear 4. And then there's gear 5, wich is a much bigger multiplier that we don't have the exact number yet. (And that's lowballing it, since i took out the 3d2y movie power up and altough he went from being blitzed at gear 4 to dodging the attack at base in 2 of these powerups, wich means he's much faster then previous gear 4 self on both of these, i considered the new base form the exact same).

The problem with videos like this one you're watching is that One Piece doesn't do power scaling like Naruto and other battle anime. For example, it's been confirmed by Oda that Enel (Lightning Devil Fruit user) could have conquered at least the first half of the Grand Line in weeks because of how effective he was with his powers. There is a reason he was feared as a God by the other Skypeians. Luffy only won because rubber no-sells lightning. If you've ever watched SpongeBob, it was basically that episode where SpongeBob gets followed around by a bully, but takes zero damage because he's a sponge. Heck, the only reason Luffy could touch Enel was because his body is rubber. Just like how he bodied Crocodile by dousing himself in water so his fists weren't just punching sand particles but the actual sandbag himself
Speed of light scaling is hands down the dumbest thing power scalers have ever done. If Luffy could move at 500x the speed of light, he would be able to travel around the world in a fraction of a second. It’s just blatantly idiotic. Nothing with mass can move at the actual speed of light. If you want to disregard the laws of physics (which you very much should for fiction) there is no reason to believe that the real speed of light applies to these characters. We actually know for a fact that Luffy can’t move that fast, because we have measurements for things in One Piece. For example, luffy would be able to travel across the entirety of Zunesha in less than a second if he could move that fast.

At the very least those two characters are 100% discussed as having light speed movement. Even if people were specifically talking about combat/reaction speed, that is still incredibly stupid btw Edit: it becomes especially stupid when people are suggesting that characters have 600x the speed of light in any capacity. I've seen people scale Luffy's movement speed at 2000x the speed of light.

Dude said Sasori has more going for him than Dofflamingo. Clearly he's operating on a bias. Sasori has a limited amount of puppets he can utilize, where as Dofflamingo has the ability to transform his surroundings into more strings and then utilize them as he sees fit. No matter what the battleground is, Dofflamingo has the terrain advantage. Also, his ability to control people like puppets is at least on par with Sasori, as we saw in the flashback of him taking over Dressrosa that he used his strings to seize control of the army and force them to slaughter the citizens.

Naruto scaling has always been weird since Kakashi vs Zabuza is seen as a jonin tier fight yet Gaara vs Lee is seen as a fight between an intense fight between Genin yet the fight with Kakashi and Zabuza was no where near as intense
Or how Orochimaru vs The Third Hokage is seen as a Hokage level battle yet we all know thats fucking cap when you see how the Hokage throw down later on in the story
Notice how each of those fights occur after each other. Powercreeps in Shonen manga are super common. It’s super obvious with Orochimaru vs The 3rd Hokage, it was way to early for Kishimoto to properly display Kage level power.
You see the same in One Piece with Crocodile losing to a pre-timeskip Luffy with no gears, only to later on clash with Mihawk & Doflamingo.

I think it actually confirms some sort of afterlife in the one piece world since he can eat/drink, he poops because of it, and his muscles still somehow move his body without the normal level of fatigue since he feels light by his own perception. Buggy walked on spikes. He can’t be pierced either. Additionally, no, If Hidan is decapitated, he can’t just inch himself back together. His limbs must be sewed back on to function again. We see this with Shikamaru’s paper bomb trap. All the pieces were right there in the hole but Hidan died anyway. Just take the head, pin it to the ground with a knife or kick it into a lake and u win.

That's not quite true. Hidan needs somebody's help in order to reattach his severed limbs. Buggy can disassemble and reassemble himself at will. If Buggy starts cutting pieces off Hidan, he would win the fight.

One Piece characters, even early on in the story are shown to consistently take huge amounts of punishment and still continuing the fight.
An in universe example would be Luffy wailing on Magellan at full force despite been administered an ungodly amount of poison. I don't think Sasori gets nearly close to the sheer quantity or quality of poison Magellan commands

And we don’t know if Doffys body could resist sasoris poison as he’s never gotten hit by a poison before let alone Sasoris, Doffy might be able to go on for a bit after taken a hit from sasori, but once sasori starts wearing him down with more and more poison he’s gonna ultimately get overwhelmed leaving sasori a chance to easily finish him off.
Doesn't Sharingan genjutsu only work if you are looking at the user? In that case, Law can beat Itachi easily by using Observation Haki. Anything in Law's room, he should be able to sense so he wouldn't need his eyes to see.

Law's room completely negate genjutsu. Cause remember the genjutsu just manipulate ur 5 sense not ur consciousness and willpower. Law is the ultimate counter to any Sharigan users (unless the sharingan user have greater Haki than Law)

Meaning Hidan needs to get up close and stab buggy, except buggy can split himself at will as a way to dodge the attack. Honestly, best way to make Buggy bleed is to punch him in the face.

Hidan still loses that match even with immortality. Because he can't do anything to buggy, and buggy doesn't even have to kill him. Hidan got beaten by rubble, by just getting trapped. All buggy has to do is lop his head off and trap him under rubble with a buggy ball. And I will say, while he does do a piercing motion, his blade on his weapon is big enough to sever things with the weakest attacks, he's gonna be slashing at buggy even if he does a piercing motion, not that he can hit buggy.
Now with crocodile, there is an easy reason, why he would win. Hes a logia.

How can Doflamingo lose against Sasori on an equal level? He literally has the power to manipulate anything he wants without limit in number or distance with his unbreakable strings. He also has the Haki of observation and enhancement and which would protect him from any poisoned harm. Only gas could work but Doflamingo also has the conqueror's haki and between him and Sasori, we clearly see who has a more conquering spirit than the other.
The creator of this video seems to deal with the subject without really taking into account all the abilities of the characters or does so when it suits him.
This thing about the speed of light and the speed multiplier is so much bullshit. Why would they use projectiles and thrown weapons if they were going that fast? And would a kunai thrown at the speed of light just crash into a tree as we see hundreds of times? No, the tree would literally explode like the other 20 behind it. It wouldn't use a bow, crossbow, dart or gun if the characters were actually going at those speeds. This whole light speed thing is totally stupid. Some fights would only last a fraction of a second even if the action is slowed down so that we can see it but the problem is that the rest of the world also seems to be going at the same speed seen as very often, there are time constraints to respect (like Freeza's 5 minutes in DBZ) which always seem to be tight even though the fight should only last less than a second at this speed. People also apparently speak at the speed of light when they fight and shout the names of their attacks or exchange words. Even their words which should go at the speed of sound apparently also go at the speed of light so that they can hear and respond to each other directly.
Still other arguments to say how stupid this story of such exaggerated speed is?

these calculations are outrageous, people tend to forget something very important, most of the contestants fight with a strategy in mind and the only calculation that should actually be considered is the narrative. The warlords that lost to Luffy lost not because Luffy became stronger throughout the fight, it's a long non-ending running gag on one piece that all strategies and plans fail when paired with the chaotic nature of the straw hats (even their own plans on certain arcs). When it comes to it, one piece fights almost always are a glorified Mike Tyson quote ("everyone has a battle plan untill they get punched in the face" or something similar). There is no point in trying to compare them with any of the akatsuki because they are malleable like rubber (pun intended) and their potential is and always will be on par with the narrative. Yes, Oda (One Piece author) retcons everything whenever he wants to when it comes to the characters he has created, you want to have fun with comparisons I understand but untill the series end we only will be finding more and more inconsistencies when it comes to abilities and strengths.

For the examples you mentioned and for some others I have in mind atm, Luffy has great imagination and is not afraid to try stuff he thought out of the box, but they certainly don't always work

The best example of how the power scaling is ridiculously flawed is claiming that base Luffy is stronger than G4 Luffy because he learned Ryuo. It's not a power boost, its a technique. Instead of just a punch, he can punch you through thick armour like dragon scales. It's a projection of his existing strength, which would have been slightly honed after the prison arc.
By the end of Wano, he's somewhat stronger, but youll feel the punches in your gut, and your back

The only character we do know who moves at the speed of light, according to himself, is Borsalino (Admiral Kizaru). And he is commonly portrayed to blitz a vast mnajority of the characters he goes up against, with the only characters ever shown to be able to react to him at all being Dark King Rayleigh and, MANGA SPOILERS, Luffy on Egghead.
Important to note here is that both characters were shown to interfere with certain attacks from him, we have not seen anyone able to consistently match his speed.
And even though Luffy did fight him out to a draw, Kizaru has on multiple occasions used his speed to get around Luffy and try to attack his friends instead. Luffy was mostly able to stop him because A: he knew where Kizaru planned to go, or B: he had the element of surprise on his side.

And that's okay, but people refuse to put their calculators down and enjoy a series without breaking down mathematically if a character could beat another character from another series, something that was never once intended in either character's creation.
Luffy doesn't "dodge" lasers. He *positions himself so they wouldn't hit him, because he has precognition.* That's the whole point of that scene. Not that he's suddenly SO FAST, but that his haki has advanced to this level, that he was never in danger. He's not "560xFTL," he just knows what's going to happen.
And yeah, the entire argument is based off of "x beat y so x is as strong as z," is transitive, which isn't how REALITY works.
One Piece as a setting is cartoony. Naruto is more grounded. Nobody from Naruto is going to be able to out-serious the loony toons shit One Piece characters get up to.

Katakuri's usage of it is just highly advanced. It's still the exact same ability, just extended until it counts as having visions of the future. It's not something else, it's not a separate ability, Katakuri is just REALLY GOOD at Observation Haki, and Luffy got good at it to match him. That's all it is.

I don't think One Piece characters can move at the speed of light except for Kizaru. And I don't even think Kizaru can move freely with his devil fruit. I think he has the potential to move with lightspeed but since his reaction time can't keep up he can only move in straight lines. However, I am convinced that Observation Haki allows characters to react to attacks at the speed of light. Also, I find these multipliers from the Gears kinda weird, nowhere was it said which stats are increased when he transforms. It could also be that Luffy's attack potency is being increased, not his speed.
Idk about multipliers but obviously his speed is increased. In gear 2 he became too fast for Blueno who he couldn't catch before in base and he could keep up with Lucci who is multiple times stronger than Blueno. With Gear 4 he could fly and was faster and stronger than Doffy. Snakeman he became fast enough to hit Katakuri even with his future sight.
So idk about multipliers but speed is definitely increased alot

That channel throws light speed around way to much and Buggy was definitely not on the same level as Luffy in Impel Down since Luffy obviously was not fighting at his best. Buggy’s best quality is the versatility of his df to dodge attacks and maneuver and his charisma to convince others to help him. In terms of power Buggy is pretty weak compared to anyone in the New World and is probably around the ranges of Arlong Park Luffy or Luffy when he enters the Grandline for his actual power

As for Speed in one piece (i'll only use the exemples i have with concrete numbers, i'll refer to lightspeed as @):
Luffy dodged lightspeed at base form with mid difficulty against foxy, so at least 1x@, he unlocked gear 2, wich is a 10 times multiplier, douring the 3d2y movie (wich is actualy cannon), he was at base form going toe to toe with byrnnid world at his base form, then byrnnd used the amplified form (wich the databook says it's a 100 times speed multiplier) and luffy use gear 2 to blitz the amplified version, wich means post timeskip gear 2 is at least a 100 times multiplier, but since it's a movie and not a manga content, i'll not use it in further calculations (i'm lowballing all this very hard since there are many luffy power ups we can't actualy calculate) but since post-timeskip luffy is faster then pre-timeskip gear 2 luffy, he's now at least:
10x@ at base.
100x@ at gear 2.
Then he used gear 4 boundman, wich is 3 times faster then gear 2.
10x@ at base.
100x@ at gear 2.
300x@ at gear 4 boundman.
The powerup in whole cake is more about atually percepting attacks at that speed with better observation haki and learning futuresight, so we won't count it.
Then at wano... this 300x@ gear 4 luffy... was blitzed by base form kaido.
Then luffy got a training arc and went from being blitzed by base form kaido at gear 4 to going toe to toe with base form kaido at base, so now he's:

Then... this gear 4 luffy... got blitzed by the hybrid form of kaido, after that he got the 2 conquerer coating powerups and started dodging the same attack that blitzed his previous gear 4 when fighting hybrid kaido while in base form, so now he's:

90000x@ at gear 2.
270000x@ at gear 4.
And then there's gear 5, wich is a much bigger multiplier that we don't have the exact number yet. (And that's lowballing it, since i took out the 3d2y movie power up and altough he went from being blitzed at gear 4 to dodging the attack at base in 2 of these powerups, wich means he's much faster then previous gear 4 self on both of these, i considered the new base form the exact same).

The problem with videos like this one you're watching is that One Piece doesn't do power scaling like Naruto and other battle anime. For example, it's been confirmed by Oda that Enel (Lightning Devil Fruit user) could have conquered at least the first half of the Grand Line in weeks because of how effective he was with his powers. There is a reason he was feared as a God by the other Skypeians. Luffy only won because rubber no-sells lightning. If you've ever watched SpongeBob, it was basically that episode where SpongeBob gets followed around by a bully, but takes zero damage because he's a sponge. Heck, the only reason Luffy could touch Enel was because his body is rubber. Just like how he bodied Crocodile by dousing himself in water so his fists weren't just punching sand particles but the actual sandbag himself

Speed of light scaling is hands down the dumbest thing power scalers have ever done. If Luffy could move at 500x the speed of light, he would be able to travel around the world in a fraction of a second. It’s just blatantly idiotic. Nothing with mass can move at the actual speed of light. If you want to disregard the laws of physics (which you very much should for fiction) there is no reason to believe that the real speed of light applies to these characters. We actually know for a fact that Luffy can’t move that fast, because we have measurements for things in One Piece. For example, luffy would be able to travel across the entirety of Zunesha in less than a second if he could move that fast.

Edit: it becomes especially stupid when people are suggesting that characters have 600x the speed of light in any capacity. I've seen people scale Luffy's movement speed at 2000x the speed of light.

You still need speed to dodge it observation haki just predict the attack not auto dodge
