I wish they had more like this in BC to help single people have a roof over their head. Many elderly people need affordable places to live on their limited fixed income. I currently live with my family in a Mobile home park, but they will be tearing it up in 1-2 years from now since they want expensive condos/apartments for high density living. I am very worried about where I/family will live in the future This is video is nice to show what it is like, but I wonder how much to rent per month? I still think there is a catch.
there is always a catch. Cost of a tiny home can be purchased for 49,000, but the the government comes into play with added restrictions and limits costing affordability to higher costs upwards of 200,000 when all is said and done. Plus people should be able to buy these homes not rent. renting is so restrictive of hope when you're bound to a limit of prosperity.
@@Inf7cted Ya, my mother bought a medium size manufactured home for $10,000 around 2000 and in the end 2017 or so got a deal for 80,000. But like you said wow, 200,000 when it should be 50k.
We have have a very small one on the veterans property for those veterans who can still get around! I think it’s a great idea! Start with your homeless veterans FIRST!!
You only have what you need. Interesting little community!

Finally you talked, you are a lady
Unbelievable
Soo much land and people are forced to live in shoe boxes due to high rents in the cities

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is no association between homelessness and tiny homes, most of those in tiny homes want freedom and independent of today financial slavery.
The problem no one is living there, no kids outside no play area
This is an adult community and not a family community. All houses are occupied.
@canadian_shorts it means you can't have over night girlfriend?
