Went to the bins for the first time yesterday, I passed up so many stuffed animals and just wasn’t thinking how much profit they would bring! Thanks for the video and for the tips
I absolutely love shopping at the bins for clothes for Poshmark. You don’t get a ton of margin on that platform. I’ve seen several people on there who have shops where nothings over $10. Buying clothes for pocket change and turning it into $10 is a definite way to build solid income.
Stuffed animals are so fun to find. I found a Signature Endangered cougar Webkinz toy, brand new with tags, it sold for about $34 +shipping. A Winnie the Pooh Christmas sweater edition, $28 +shipping!

I have sold quite a few HP toners and inks on ebay. The only time I got a warning was for using a stock HP photo that came up in the listing when I did new. Ever since then I have used my own photo and never had a problem.
Best Bins haul I had: Daughter and I got there when they opened. She headed to shoes, I headed to non-clothes merchandise. I spotted a vintage Georgetown University Wincraft Pennant on top of a pile. Of course, I rushed there to pick it up and was shocked to see that it was the top of about 35 vintage Wincraft pennants. 3 Jordans, Ewing, Malone, Wilkins, Bird and more, all in perfect condition, except for very small pinholes where they were tacked to a wall. Cost maybe $1.50 for all of them. Needless to say, made my money back, plus some.

I have definitely sold stuff I got as gifts. I told my grandma some plates she had were cute and she said "well I would give them to you but you would probably just sell them" 😂 guilty!
Awesome as always! Thanks for what you do I’ve spoken to EBay customer service about what to do when canceling an order. Example being I can’t find an item I’ve sold. Or, I’ve had issue where an item I’ve sold previously and only had one of, resold. The eBay reps told me to note the canceled order as “something is wrong with buyers address”. They said this method does have impact on either buyer or seller accounts
Hello! What I have done, in the past when I have had to cancel an order, whether it be because I can't find the item or I find something wrong with the item at shipping(a small hole or stain that I may have missed), I contact the buyer and explain the situation with a big apology and give them the option to either purchase something similar(I give them a few options or ask them to browse my store) or to cancel. Most of the time they will ask to cancel and then you it is a legitimate "Buyer asked to cancel" It covers you behind while offering good customer service. And....ALL videos should include Mose. Just saying
Facebook marketplace shipping rates are very reasonable. Shipping a pair of shoes would almost always be the same or less if you just have the customer buy the label through them. It’s very easy as well.
Thanks Josh. Love your positive attitude and always looking at the bright side. Great reminder, too, to sell what you want or like in your store. Happy New Year to you and your lovely wife and Mose the wonder dog. So funny when he kept trying to go around you with the toy. 😂
Josh thank you so much for this video! Dropping that knowledge for the HP cartridge and about the cancel order mistake. We're all learning! Yeah plush animals are huge still depending. I had some I bought for a few bucks on clearance when a site closed and I sold a few at a flea market and made some profit...well glad covid closed it this year because I found out they are going for over $100 each now so thankfully I have some left. I also found a very clean vintage 80s carebear at goodwill for $1 and build-a-bears all the time.....just have to dig through the sea of beanie baby donations...
I've sold a random gift my mom gave me. she gifted me some Keto dietary pills that I didn't need. I was like " ma I lost 82lbs from October 2019 to October 2020." she didn't care still gave me the pills sold them for 120 dollars.
19:56 thats so crazy that you mentioned this because my partner and I just received a gift from her dad and we were thinking about selling it on ebay haha
I did sell a new Echo on FB Marketplace that my sister gave me for Christmas (sorry, sis!) It was very nice of her, and I appreciated the thought, but I'm on multiple computers all day long, and the last thing I wanted to do was invite them even more into my house.
I'm glad I ran across your Channel this is actually going to help me out selling on eBay myself I just started out and I'm always selling stuff like DVDs and seasons of extra things that we had lying around the house before I Branch out to going to pick up thanks I figured that would be the easiest way to start
I haven’t resold items right away, like I’ve given the gifter a little time to forget they gave it to me lol. My husband was just savage this year though. I put a gift in his stocking I genuinely thought he’d appreciate having. He took it out of the stocking and instantly handed it right back to me saying merry Christmas.
My eBay selling started years ago selling unused gifts and items I inherited from parents and grandparents that have passed. I keep only the most precious things. The rest go. Can’t keep everything.
Most defiantly have sold gifts I've gotten on eBay. LOL Thanks for the video and the tip about if you loose an item and not canceling the order. I usually print a label then go into the drop down menu of the item click the refund button. Give the refund and then go back and cancel the label and I get refunded by USPS for not using the label. To eBay it looks like I shipped the item and it doesn't affect anyone's' account. Just another way if you're interested. I for one haven't had a problem selling HP ink but I am more cautious now when it comes to selling. Your dog trying to get to the yard with that new toy was hilarious. Sorry for the long comment and thanks again for the video.
Don't waste your time buying printing and canceling the shipping label. You don't have to buy shipping from ebay. You could actually buy it from the post office and for some reason there are people who do not buy their labels on ebay but actually drive to the post office and buy it there. Point being skip the printing label part and just mark item shipped. I wanted to ship something media mail one time and for some reason ebay would not give me that option so I went to paypal and bought my label from them.
Great videos! On the hp toner and ink topic from what I understand is as long as you only ship in the US that you should be fine because apparently in the UK their is a business that will vero you if you try to ship internationally. At least that is what I have heard off of other channels.
Agreed about plush/stuffed animals. There is a ton of profit in them if you can get them dirt cheap. The plush head with a blanket attached is usually called a "Lovey" and there is BIG money in the right ones. Susanne Wells has a whole video just on these things. People will pay ANY amount of money to replace a cherished Lovey or plush toy that a child needs in order to calm down. Flippin' Hippos reseller group is also big on talking about plush. Star (the owner of the group) sells a ton of plush and does well although she will tell you they are a "longtail" item to sell which is true. I've sold plenty of plush but they don't always go that fast.
I found nearly a full reusable shopping bag full of Legos at the bins with all kinds of figs and special pieces. I think 10 bucks was a deal. Took me a 1/2 hour to get every dang piece. The DVDs and other items were kind of a gyp for another $8.
Thanks for the videos! Appreciate your advise and helpful tips. Amen! Sell and thrift what and how you like...My husband questioned my decision to by a ton of ornaments from every CVS is our area@ 90% off after Christmas last year. He had a different tone when we looked at profit on the same ton of ornaments sold this December. It adds up! Yes I want more high return items moving forward. But could not pass on an item that will sell and easy to ship!
I found a stuffed "monster" for $1. I had never seen it before; I got it because it was unique. Sold it within 24 hours for $65 and I just saw it listed for $250 on ebay. At first I felt I left money on the table (I did and it would have been nice to have it). I have learned that leaving others some thing is a way to bless others. Next time I'll ask more, I couldn't believe it was worth THAT much!!!!

When you said that you had a bunch of things from dream deals that you got the other day that made me feel better about things that I got from Goodwill the other day that haven't been listed. Some good stuff definitely was a good haul but for some reason I just haven't gotten to it. Instead I'm here on RUclips watching you with all your scores lmao. Taking in the information! I've had a lot of good picks and I owe some to you. That's so many categories! Mine are Misc/glassware/books(by the inch)/furniture priced separately. One year they tried doing Christmas stuff cheaper, but everyone buried their household stuff underneath wrapping paper.
Books by the inch?
@@lindaswift9444 Yep! Books are charged per inch of spine. 25c it’s amazing for kids books.
@@KeynEyeFlips Mine is 25 cents for softcover and 50 cents for hardcover
I can't explain it. But i'm in Portugal, Ebay doesn't work like in the USA and there is no "secondhand" shops but i'm still addicted to your videos man! Keep up the hustle!
Maybe, but there are always things that will sell high on ebay in portugal. Or even local marketplace. But yeah. Good luck. You should really start.
I sell HP toner all of the time. I’ve never ever had an issue. Probably sold 100+ of them.
I have definitely sold stuff I got as gifts. I told my grandma some plates she had were cute and she said "well I would give them to you but you would probably just sell them" 😂 guilty!
Thata fucked up
Awesome as always! Thanks for what you do
I’ve spoken to EBay customer service about what to do when canceling an order. Example being I can’t find an item I’ve sold. Or, I’ve had issue where an item I’ve sold previously and only had one of, resold.
The eBay reps told me to note the canceled order as “something is wrong with buyers address”. They said this method does have impact on either buyer or seller accounts
You have such enthusiasm!!!!
Please keep putting mose in the videos! Makes me smile every time.
Just saying
I definitely recommend also looking at selling used clothes on other apps
I am the Queen of making custom boxes out of other boxes! lol
Facebook marketplace shipping rates are very reasonable. Shipping a pair of shoes would almost always be the same or less if you just have the customer buy the label through them. It’s very easy as well.
Hey, love your video's and thanks to you, made my first sell today, :) thanks :)
I am super excited to see you also do FB Marketplace I am actually just started today! Would love to see more about FB marketplace.
I sold my Limited edition pops and kanto edition monopoly game all totaled to be about $250-$300 huge win during Christmas!
Little tip, if you ever run across anything la gear pick it up it's the new highly Collectible, Collectible
That digging was worth it - and Happy New Year to you both and Moseley 😃
Cool work kev from Australia I watch all your RUclips's
Didn't watch the video but if you make $75 an hour going to your local bins then you are just blessed.
I've sold plenty of plush but they don't always go that fast.
yes the tape deck only runs totally when u insert a tape !!! im old so i know lol !! also i have one from the 80s
That plush sale for$5.00 was insane!!
I found nearly a full reusable shopping bag full of Legos at the bins with all kinds of figs and special pieces. I think 10 bucks was a deal. Took me a 1/2 hour to get every dang piece. The DVDs and other items were kind of a gyp for another $8.
Farber ware aluminum clad pots. Great sellers.
Tks for all the info I really look up to you and your good vives all the time
I sell mostly stuffed animals and I love it. low shipping.
And fast to list & package!
AND NOT breakable
I found a stuffed "monster" for $1. I had never seen it before; I got it because it was unique. Sold it within 24 hours for $65 and I just saw it listed for $250 on ebay. At first I felt I left money on the table (I did and it would have been nice to have it). I have learned that leaving others some thing is a way to bless others. Next time I'll ask more, I couldn't believe it was worth THAT much!!!!
Hi there,
Can u tell me more about selling stuffed animals?
@@danamariefinnegan7176 goodwill and garage sales, they are easy to look up on eBay and you just make sure they are in good condition. Then post them and shipping is like under $5
Good sales the last couple of days. Did you put the strap in with the guitar? I have some of that stuff around here and tape lol. Loving the motivation and excitement. Mos reminded me of every 2 year old I have ever met lol insisting on taking his new toy outside love it hugs of Mos
I didnt! Man I forgot. Oh well
I don't want things to go to waste in the back of my closet, so I definitely sell gifts that I won't use. But this Christmas I didn't get anything that I would sell! Happy New Year!
The pots are great worth more with lids
When you said that you had a bunch of things from dream deals that you got the other day that made me feel better about things that I got from Goodwill the other day that haven't been listed. Some good stuff definitely was a good haul but for some reason I just haven't gotten to it. Instead I'm here on RUclips watching you with all your scores lmao. Taking in the information! I've had a lot of good picks and I owe some to you. For example, I got a junior golf club set with all 5 out of 7 of the clubs selling for $175 plus $30 shipping and I got the whole set for $4.99. it's gonna be kind of hard to ship but I'll figure it out thanks for the info on the clubs I probably wouldn't have checked if it weren't for your gems. With that being said RUclips is valuable waste of time at least 🤣😅
Mose!!! 😂 Thanks for the great laugh.
Nice mixing it ups sort oh hard to follow what was happening but you always made us laugh,
