Hey, awesome people of the Interweb, I hope you are doing great 🙌🏻 I already see that there are passionate comments assuming that I am comparing hardware when in fact, the idea behind this episode was to compare software implementation and limitations, knowing that both devices have the potential to run a silky smooth desktop experience. Unfortunately, I cannot throw the iPhone into the mix for obvious reasons (I wish it was possible). Thanks for stopping by, and I appreciate all of your comments and support 🙏🏻

And then I took a call on Bluetooth ear buds. I like DeX a lot!
That’s not such a fair comparison between a tablet and a phone. The fact that galaxy phone can turn into a workstation is already a win for the galaxy.
They are both mobile devices, relatively close in power and they both allow you to use them in a desktop mode. I would say this comparison is very fair indeed.
I also agree with this, phones are phones, tablets are tablets, laptops are laptops..all are mobile devices but being a phone competing with tablets is already a win here.
There's a Samsung Good Lock module called Multistar that adds the 4k up to 60Hz resolution to DeX. I'm using on my S23 Ultra with a USB-C to HDMI adapter from Aliexpress

I really tried to use my ipad with a monitor and it was the worst experience.... Using the mouse was a headache as you could not tell if it was selecting something or not. I really love how Samsung Dex works like Windows laptop or computer.
First of all, I NEED that wallpaper. I bought one of your packs yesterday, but this new one is gorgeous. About the video, I agree. I'm an iPad Pro user and I also own a MacBook. Then last year I switched to the M1 Pro model, and oh boy was it fantastic. But yet again, it was fantastic as a tablet. Now, come spring I was overwhelmed by the iPad OS 16 rumours and I bought a Magic Keyboard. I had by the time made the decision that investing in the iPad Pro as a laptop replacement would have been a good idea, since I had been using the Apple Pencil for years and I needed it (I'm an Econ student so I need the writing component for maths); that decision was a bad one. Don't get me wrong, the Magic Keyboard is phenomenal and the iPad experience as a tablet is out of this world, but the OS is just too much behind. Last summer I bought an M1 Air MacBook, and I mean it is the greatest value for money that has ever existed, a monster of quality and performance, but I was unhappy with the fact I could have bought the M2 in midnight (getting a bigger display, newer chip, modern new design and overall a better user experience in the years to come) if only I knew Apple was going to butcher the Stage Manager feature and I saved some money, by getting an iPad Air and not buying the keyboard for example. My logic back in spring was: "this iPad has the same display quality as a MacBook Pro, the best chip Apple has to offer, put aside the M1 Pro and Max which are a different league, and a huge potential to be the main device for a student given the fact it has plenty of hardware capabilities. Therefore, I probably won't need a MacBook and getting this 400€ magic keyboard would be a great investment going into iPad OS 16". I was soooo wrong. It turned out to be a huge disappointment, they got Stage Manager to barely work only by November and iPad OS 16 did not fix any problem, apart from the upgrade to the files app which was long time needed. But iPadOS as is... doesn't cut it for that price tag. The fact that the M2 got a software feature as exclusive (pencil hover) is a sign of how bad Apple is trying not to overlap the iPad with the Macs by not even upgrading them anymore ahahahah. Fun fact Apple? An iPad Pro 13" with keyboard and pencil costs more than a MacBook Pro M1 13". Ok, that MacBook is pointless and dumb, but you get the point. If you gave an iPad Pro MacOS, you actually would be UPSELLING it, given the fact a MacBook Air costs between 1200 and 1500 (depends on where you live), which is less. From the profits perspective it would no joke be a good move. Whatevs... Great video, I hope this 17 update actually fixes things for us.

Samsung DeX supports 4K using MultiStar, a GoodLock module. It is an official app however it is not included because it's an experimental feature. However your video is a good comparison between this two desktop solutions.
I use dex to a projector mainly for camping . I get excellent service where I camp at and I stream espn PPV sporting events there. You cannot project ESPN on an IOS device it will prompt a screen recording restriction message. Major benefit for samsung phones
Thanks Buddy! This is an amazing video indeed... My 2 cents: I have now replaced my Samsung's S7 FE tablet and my S22U with a ZF5 and I can do a whole lot better in and out of my home/office, all in one place. When at home, I can use DEX wirelessly to my PC and catchup with everything I do on the phone, while handling 1 of my 2 businesses on the PC, with 4 27" monitors, of course. Now... I bought this Lapdock to get out of the room, and sit in the kitchen while talking to my wife... and the experience with Dex is even better. The lapdock has not a lot of components so it does not get hot, or slows down replicating the DEX input, it is a powerbank itself so it charges my ZF5, and it is so lightweight and yet thin, that I can put it on a sleeve and off I go, in case I need to sit down at Starbucks. The speed is there, the slag is not, and all the data is right on my pocket. DEX is really far better than anything out there not just the iPad, and if I start mentioning the benefits of the ZF5 over the iphone or the ipad themselves... well you know.... ;-) Lapdock -> www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CBTDYRYZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have tried the ipad pro and currently have the tab s8 ultra. With a built in Dex mode, I gotta give the S8 ultra the win for productivity and multitasking.
I have my 2 year old Note 20 Ultra 5g and when my laptop breaks in 2021, it served as my primary workstation. Now in 2023 I also have my Ipad Pro 11 (M1) and they are doing great. I agree for every words you said since I have tested both devices in a 32 inch TV they have their own advantages and disadvantages. But ofcourse my Note 20 still rocks as a solid phone while I use my Ipad Pro as a secondary monitor for my Gaming Laptop :-) since I do study coding for Web Development. Thank you for sharing this comparison. This really helps.
On occasion I will get my Note 9 out (which hasn't had a major software update since 2020) to use the wireless Dex feature and love the fact that it offers full display and desktop like features. When Apple showed off full external support at WDDC, I had hoped it would be like or surpass Dex. Unfortunately, my 2020 iPad Pro 11" doesn't offer full screen support with Stage Manager turned on like you mention at 0:37. Only M1 and newer devices do. For iPads that do offer full Stage Manager support, I don't think it's anywhere near a Mac replacement as many have hyped it up to be. I force myself to use my iPad Pro now in conjunction with my Mac mini M2 using Universal Control, but I'm starting to think that I can live without it. Dex in my opinion is a better experience if you're looking for desktop setup from a portal device. I just can't seem to stay with an Android device. Too locked in to the Apple eco system.
For me the main benefit is that I can have everything on my phone, carry it anywhere and then when at home or the office plug into my hub and I have a desktop version of everything there. In many cases the apps are not really an issue or i would resort to the laptop option but most of the time the phone sorts it out. I use a Note 9 with a hub connected to a Dell monitor and logitech mouse and keyboard with a wireless charging pad/stand for the phone. The software I am using mostly is microsoft office (Note/Excel/Word) and trading platforms. Thus I have my full office capability in my pocket, can keep up with changes on the go and then when I need to I can plug in at a desk and use the same device in a desktop-style situation. If I was going to carry a bag around then I can use the laptop or my tablet but sometimes that is a cumbersome option.
Im using the older model Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, the DeX on this device is still mindblowing, i can use it daily for my work without any lag and so smooth!
I think you should make a new video once you learned basics about DeX: 4K is possible, Apps do not have to reopen, every App can be resized completely free to any size. Based on the video I assume you don't know that you can run multiple audio-sources at the same time, that you don't know how to enable simultaneous focuses, and many other things. And please, the legend of optimized Apps on iOS is just a legend. You could say that a certain App was not available on either systems, but the support for tablet size is at least as good on DeX as on iOS. Hell, you can even resize Instagram complexly freely, try that under iOS😊 But you have to use Good Lock which is also “out-of-the-box”, just for advanced users. One important thing: you should have used Tab S8 Ultra with external monitor. I have never experienced any performance issues. It depends also on the amount of RAM.
yeah, agreed. IG on both android and iPads are terrible but you can make it work with well, both i guess, but you can resize easily on the android side of things.
DeX is my computer since 2019. I handle in a Chromebook aproach, using a lot of things via browser. And some apps works well too. Wanna try someday the Motorola's Ready For desktop mode.
Hey man I think you should've used the samsung s8 ultra instead of the phone. Because you'll have a stand just like you do with your iPad with the magic keyboard. Also I wanted to point out that you can get 4k out of dex just have to download good luck. But overall all great video because I get where you coming from with it. It would just be more acceptable to samsung users since I mean it is a apple vs samsung technically
I have been using Samsung Dex on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for almost 2 years every day. I have not powered up my notebook computer during the last 18 months. Connected to a 32-inch monitor via USB-C cable and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse when on desktop computer mode or connected to a lapdock via USB-C cable or Miracast when used in notebook computer mode.
I would love to get my hands on the background wallpaper featured in this video. It's absolutely stunning, and I'd like to have it as my own desktop wallpaper. Could you please provide a link or let me know where I can obtain it? It would be amazing to enjoy that design in my own workspace! Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response.
FYI: For Samsung Dex on S23 Ultra, you can install Samsung's Good Lock. Then, you can increase resolution easily. However, you can even use the Tab S series or Z Fold series to have all those resolution settings natively.
Good comparison and great example of the ability of these devices to extend their use cases. We see different approaches to the external monitor use and the different limitations that are mostly software driven. The galaxy turns the monitor into a second device while the iPad allows for secondary big display companion while remaining in charge. It all comes down to what you need and what's practical to you, no winner/better or looser/worst, just different.
I run Dex on my Z fold and it runs like a high end Chrome book. It's like 95% there to being a full PC experience. I now use Dex on my 32" TV more than I use my Surface Book. For anything online I just run Brave in desktop mode and it's the same as a PC. The only thing my Surface Book does that Dex can't is run a few PC games and that's about it. I honestly never thought this phone and Dex would become my everyday use device for everything.
If you go into Dex Labs you can actually set it so that apps don't have to be restarted. So your comparison was a bit off in that regard. You can also run Samsung Dex wirelessly so you wouldn't need to have it plugged into anything except a wall charger.
Samsung DeX gives you a true PC desktop experience. While the ipad is simply Screen Mirroring, giving you the experience of a big tablet.DEX can also work wirelessly. You don't need a cable to connect it to any TV or wireless monitor.
Just start off with a galaxy tab, you'll love it, and you can always use it as a secondary device. Another thing to note is that you can use Dex straight from the tablet without needing to connect to an external display
Samsung. All the way. Just used it yesterday. Home internet down. Logged using my samsung S23U. Zoom call and display on monitor. Phone callnon S23. Worked awesome
Really interesting and well articulated comparison. See Dex against iPad OS really highlights how great an iPad OS COULD be without competing with MacOS.
I use Dex all the time, I have a Samsung s20 (open box at ($250.00) a 13.5” portable monitor ($150.00) and foldable keyboard. Total investment of $400.00 and weight of 2 pounds. And you can still use your phone as normal and the screen in Dex changes to resolutions to match the monitor or TV. Apple wants you to purchase separate devices at high costs and added weight. I have no slow down problems on my S20 so it should be better on the S23. To me, Dex is a clear winner.
I used dex with my note9 for work & It's the most convenient platform ever! The only problem was that my phone was charging the entire time I used the Dex cradle. Now you're proposing that I again have my phone charging all the time while it's plugged into the monitor using dex. I need to be able to CHOOSE when my phone is charging or not charging. How do I do that considering you don't give a recommendation for that? I need to buy a new compatible monitor now. which kind? thunderbolt or? this is priority to me on my EXPENSIVE Z FOLD!
Do you actually use DaVinci Resolve on your iPad for work, or just to show in the video? Does it really feels for you comfortable to use, at the state of summer 2023?
I think it's a no brainer if you already have a samsung phone that has Dex. It also looks more familiar in Windows 11 like but it's also what you would do the most on these devices. If you do a bit of video editing, then I would def get the iPad with the M1/2 chip.
In the last 8 months things have changed a lot for both devices. For example I am Using Dex, I have a Dock that allows for either net, 3 USB 3.0 with a pro that is connected to USB 3.0 4 port expansion. I thine can use a 1 terabyte Storage Device and 4 USB thumb drives... OK that was over kill. I can use Power Director to edit video with out much lag, I can either transfer videos device to device or I can use Nearby Device Wireless transfer. A nice to way to take older beat up phone to do some video shoots and transfer to my S23 Ultra.. The S23 Ultra remains plugged in. I am using a wireless keyboard and mouse. By Logitech. With short cuts to mail and other things. I can use a wireless scanner and printer all in one to scan documents to my phone. Then I can dump the files to an external SSD drive. And If I want to clear out the phone, I transfer all my videos to the external drive. Oh and Samsung has one other trick, not sure if Apple can do this or not, but it can up load a file to the internet using an external Drive. In 4 to 5 years time both will become stronger competitors and with apples late to the table Desktop environment, coming out it will be interesting to see what they all or disallow. Now, if TVs could come with built in USB 3.0, Either net, and multiple USB 3. 0 ports. Now for either OS or Dex, that would take the cake. Because with the USB 3.0 direct connection you now can get 4k on Dex. All in all our devices either Mac ot Samsung will become the new computer systems. As more and more things are crammed in to these devices, it will be getting more and more difficult to wnat to upgrade. The technologies are reaching a point where they are no longer smart phones, if not have already reached that point. DVD rooms have gave way to USB thumb drives that are cheap enough and durable enough to survive the onslaught of the USPS. And a TV with a USB Port will play Videos directly from a device plugged in to it.. How's that for interesting. One of these days Videos will come in 4k on a USB thumb drive, Locked.. Imagine being able store thousands of movies in a nice storage area where you can lock and secure them, watch them in 4k or 8k or 10k in the future.
Great content. Can you put the Ipad in your pants pocket? NO. And don't forget it's wireless dex. Question. Can you connect the Ipad to a monitor without a wire? Like Dex? All in all, to me, it's about convenience, s23 ultra fits in a pocket. You can connect wireless, you can use the phone as a mouse pad and keyboard. Less stuff to shlep.
You can use an iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd gen and up) and 11 (all models) with an external display. But you can only use stage manger on the external display with iPad Pro (as shown in the video) with an M-series chip. That distinction wasn’t made clear.
Can we do a similar video or a short explaining the same thing but focused on docking station of choice for those with no usbc/thunderbolt monitor? For both iPad and 23ultra?
Hi there! Looks like Samsung is better for me. But I don't have one. 😀 Yesterday I connected ipad m2 with lg 32un650 by HDMI. And it disappointed me, because the latency was very noticeable. Is it normal? Or it depends on the wire, adapter or preference? I'll be appreciated if somebody could clear situation.
Good stuff, what would you say would be the best curved monitor for DeX? I have an older Samsung now and looking to find one that supports PiP or PbP. Also, why didnt you use a Samsung tablet since it runs DeX?
I would prefer DEX for this purpose. It's like a mini desktop. I use it through my Tab S7. The only advantage of iPad is the software function is more then Android. Well, DEX just fine for day to day use.
Monitor support (not screen mirroring) is not on all 11 inch ipad pros. Only M1 M2 variants support it. The 2018 and 2020 11 inch models do not support external monitors.
I have parents aged 65 and 63. Less than a month ago, I transferred them to Samsung dex and everything was fine, but in the last update that was a few days ago, Samsung lowered the resolution to 1080p from 4k that I set through good lock, I'm waiting for them to get back to me from Samsung to see if it was by mistake or on purpose
"Overall, the iPad is more comfortable to use than the Ultra, since you need a dedicated stand for the Ultra..." Umm, did the Magic Keyboard come in the box with your iPad. I dedicated $229 for my combo touch for my 12.9" M1 iPad. This is why I think a lot of youtubers often miss the mark when they compair devices. It's like all of a sudden, a case or a stylus or accessory cost nothing on the Applle side. Meanwhile, the keybaord and spen came with my Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
I don't have that issue with the apps size when using dex on my device. I don't have to restart the app to maximise or minimise the running app, it works flawlessly.
I think if all you need is MS office then Dex is the way to go. I will use it for some school and Business meting... I am curious how it will perform. Just hoping it supports my headset and so on XD
Samsung Dex is a modified Gentoo KDE Plasma GNU-Linux. That’s why it feels like a GNU Linux OS Kernel. That’s why in Samsung Dex uses apk. While in Linux desktop uses apt.
i cannot find answer anwhere: is it possible to connect samsung tablet to external monitor which is at the same time connected to a windows laptop? so that i can use the tablet as a third monitor with an option to use the pencil.
Samsung Dex = (Desktop Experience) which is the DEX acronym. For those that don't know just in case. To answer your question I say it depends on which ecosystem you are invested in. There is no clear winner.
This would be a better comparison if he used the Galaxy Tab as I don't get those slow downs using DeX on my tablet. Also a big advantage is the fact that they have wireless DeX compatible with some TVs & monitors. And you don't always have to restart apps you had opne on your phone in DeX. If you use the Recent Apps button in the task bar instead of clicking on the app in DeX. If Samsung could really refine DeX it would be a better OS than Chrome OS which I don't really care for in the 1st place. Plus if devs could find tune apps it would definitely be a better OS experience.

Do you just use a cable, or one of the Dex stations?
Samsung DeX can connect wirelessly to most TVs or wireless monitors.
Unfortunately, my 2020 iPad Pro 11" doesn't offer full screen support with
Stage Manager turned on like you mention at 0:37.
Too locked in to the Apple eco system.
how to use wireless dex mode
@@zabihullahmohammadi3275mirroring in tvs or monitors compatibles
I had no idea Dex was that powerful. That is pretty legit, especially if you have a Galaxy Tablet.
Indeed
I think you should make a new video once you learned basics about DeX: 4K is possible, Apps do not have to reopen, every App can be resized completely free to any size. Based on the video I assume you don't know that you can run multiple audio-sources at the same time, that you don't know how to enable simultaneous focuses, and many other things. And please, the legend of optimized Apps on iOS is just a legend. You could say that a certain App was not available on either systems, but the support for tablet size is at least as good on DeX as on iOS. Hell, you can even resize Instagram complexly freely, try that under iOS😊
But you have to use Good Lock which is also “out-of-the-box”, just for advanced users.
From personal experience, you hit the nail on the head perfectly!
You are hands down the best gadget reviewer. Well done man 👍🏾
I have been using Samsung Dex on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for almost 2 years every day. I have not powered up my notebook computer during the last 18 months. Connected to a 32-inch monitor via USB-C cable and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse when on desktop computer mode or connected to a lapdock via USB-C cable or Miracast when used in notebook computer mode.
Samsung Dex does support 4k, you just ned to download goodlock module called multistar and in the I
I would love to get my hands on the background wallpaper featured in this video.
I already talked about this in my latest Z Fold videos. Thank you!
Now imagine if one had both…how nice would that be? 🙂
@@ThisIsE That would be even better, one can only hope cos the hardware can handle it, we just need the software to be extended
@@ThisIsE superdisplay on android, boom no ipad needed. coming from an ownder of both.
Your video quality is top tier🔥
Thanks Jerry
Samsung Dex is very underated feature even Samsung marketing team are not giving enough attention to it
Man, you ain't never lie. For the life of me, I don't know why it's not promoted more. I think i've promoted Dex more than Samsung.
Samsung DeX gives you a true PC desktop experience. While the ipad is simply Screen Mirroring, giving you the experience of a big tablet.DEX can also work wirelessly. You don't need a cable to connect it to any TV or wireless monitor.
Subscribed because why not!
Hahah…that’s the way!
Great in depth setup guide. I’ve always been curious about Dex. If I wasn’t so deep in the Apple ecosystem I would go the Samsung route.
Just start off with a galaxy tab, you'll love it, and you can always use it as a secondary device. Another thing to note is that you can use Dex straight from the tablet without needing to connect to an external display
By using Multistar from Good lock, the Samsung phone/ tablet can display in 4k
Glad found this video. Appreciate it!
Samsung. All the way. Just used it yesterday. Home internet down. Logged using my samsung S23U. Zoom call and display on monitor. Phone callnon S23. Worked awesome
I don't see the fixation on having files or icons on the desktop all the time, the search or quick bar are quite useful still
Traditional Windows mentality, which is what the general people are familiar with
Really interesting and well articulated comparison.
You should have used Samsung Dex on the Tab S8+ for a fair comparison.
I think it's a no brainer if you already have a samsung phone that has Dex. It also looks more familiar in Windows 11 like but it's also what you would do the most on these devices. If you do a bit of video editing, then I would def get the iPad with the M1/2 chip.
A very good deep dive research! Thanks, E! :)
Drives up the cost.
I'm not sure if this is a good enough comparison, as a better comparison would be between an iPad and a Samsung tablet (that also supports dex)
I loved the video, tho!!
Dex hdmi out started with the Galaxy s8. I was connecting Dex to my TV a couple years ago when I had the Galaxy s8+.
Can we do a similar video or a short explaining the same thing but focused on docking station of choice for those with no usbc/thunderbolt monitor? For both iPad and 23ultra?
Please
Thanks. I’ll keep that in mind.
Best choice is the Skull and Co Jumpgate Pro.
How can u compare a device with a mobile processor to a device with a computer processor? 🤔
Thanks. This video is all i need
Great video. I think I like DeX more
I like that apple pen skin. Where did you get it? Love your videos as always
Where did you get that cool wallpaper on both phones
Great video
Thanks!
Hi there! Looks like Samsung is better for me. But I don't have one. 😀
Yesterday I connected ipad m2 with lg 32un650 by HDMI. And it disappointed me, because the latency was very noticeable. Is it normal? Or it depends on the wire, adapter or preference? I'll be appreciated if somebody could clear situation.
There shouldn’t be any latency. The M2 has plenty of power to run the display
What about wireless Dex? Did I miss that in the video?
30hz is not great. its usable in an emergency or to se a video on a tv but using a mouse at 30hz is really bad
nice review.. Ipad with m2 chip is powerful.. but i personally go for Dex... almost complete for my daily task..
Samsung DEX the best !
Can you share your using mouse experience with your iPad? Was it smoothly as Samsung Dex? Thanks!
For the iPad, for the 7th generation work?
I got no problem with Samsung Dex using my Fold 4.
Monitor support (not screen mirroring) is not on all 11 inch ipad pros. Only M1 M2 variants support it. The 2018 and 2020 11 inch models do not support external monitors.
Excelent video, where can i get your wallpaper?
What monitor is this? 😊
Can you send me link to the wallpaper?
Firstly, DeX does have 4k when you use Goodlock with multistar and the I
I have parents aged 65 and 63.
What is this beautiful white monitor arm featured in the video?
I got the Samsung Galaxy tab S8 when I got the Google pixel 7 a few weeks ago and I was wondering if you could use Dex without a PC or Samsung phone?
"Overall, the iPad is more comfortable to use than the Ultra, since you need a dedicated stand for the Ultra..." Umm, did the Magic Keyboard come in the box with your iPad. I dedicated $229 for my combo touch for my 12.9" M1 iPad. This is why I think a lot of youtubers often miss the mark when they compair devices. It's like all of a sudden, a case or a stylus or accessory cost nothing on the Applle side. Meanwhile, the keybaord and spen came with my Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
i didnt see the link to the monitor you used in this video
Can you tell me which monitor you use
Where did you get the sking for the apple pencil from please)
dbrand
@@ThisIsE Thanks
wow...that was great review
Glad you liked it
I don't have that issue with the apps size when using dex on my device. I don't have to restart the app to maximise or minimise the running app, it works flawlessly.
that depends on the app, but is getting better really quick
I think if all you need is MS office then Dex is the way to go.
I will use it for some school and Business meting... I am curious how it will perform.
Just hoping it supports my headset and so on XD
Where can i find these wallpaper?
Samsung Dex is a modified Gentoo KDE Plasma GNU-Linux. That’s why it feels like a GNU Linux OS Kernel. That’s why in Samsung Dex uses apk. While in Linux desktop uses apt.
i cannot find answer anwhere:
is it possible to connect samsung tablet to external monitor which is at the same time connected to a windows laptop? so that i can use the tablet as a third monitor with an option to use the pencil.
Do Comparison Samsung Tab S Series And Ipad Series For Desk Experience
Looking for the skin ur using for apple pen
Why didn't you get the Samsung Galaxy tab to do the comparison it has dex on models s6--s8
Can you update this review? Samsung has made significant changes, especially if you use goodlock
not to sure why your Dex icons when you click is selected, but mine goes into the app.
Not all 11 in. The extended display on iPad only works with M series chips.
So Apple does have its own DeX. What was it called?
Which app you use for editing video on Samsung Dex?
Lumafusion is by far the best video editor on any mobile device - Android or iOS.
How is universal control compared to dex ?
Where can I get the wallpaper
Samsung Dex = (Desktop Experience) which is the DEX acronym. For those that don't know just in case. To answer your question I say it depends on which ecosystem you are invested in. There is no clear winner.
Dex is the winner
Which monitors support both the iPad Pro and Samsung dex?
Thanks
@ThisIsE
Samsung tab too, dex and very functionally
