I really want to thank you for doing all of your proper research this means to much me I have multiple fish tanks. And really love to see you give this fish the best life and wow you did an amazing job at setting up the tank! Love that you feed him blood worms good luck thanks!
Thank you ! I don’t support impulse pets and we made sure to prepare everything months in advance for Roy, stay tuned for an exciting Roy video very soon! I appreciate the support
I’ve been keeping bettas for 5 years now and one of mine just died the other night. I love binging these “getting my betta” vlogs for inspo before I pick out my new fish. Your tank is one of the best I’ve seen so kudos to you man! I’ve always wanted to do a nice planted tank like yours but I’ve had failure with plants in the past. That fish is one lucky dude!!
Aww I’m really sorry for the loss of your little one 😢 I think getting a new one will help you recover! I can agree on the binging betta videos but most of the time they purchase a betta on impulse with no research :( . I recently made a video about a sick betta that we rescued if that interests you. And thank you for the compliments it makes me so happy and feels so rewarding! (Also I can recommend some really easy plants that even I’ve had success with if you’d like)
@@BradleyVlogs-ds2oc I definitely want to look into plants more and try harder because I have 4 different tanks with different fish that have had the same setup for a long time (my oldest fish is 6 years old) and I really want to spice things up a bit. I’ll definitely check out that other video though !!!
This one one of the best betta thanks for a first time fishkeeper that I have ever seen and this is coming from someone who keeps rare fish and breeds bettas keep on doing what your doing
are you sure that this is your first tank? because this is awesome. You did your research, you tested your water (most beginners don't), you added live plants, and even hardscape. But try to avoid buying fish and plants at retails like petsmart and petco because their fish a lot of the times have diseases. This tank is so much better than my betta tank and I've been keeping fish for 5+ years. try to gradually remove the fake plants and put more live plants. I can't love this tank more.
Not sure if this helps at all but there is a fish store in Arizona called Discount Aquarium Fish and Reef with a bunch of great fish, they all look healthy and well cared for. The workers there know their stuff and it’s an overall great place. I would recommend going there for your fish if petco and petsmart aren’t an option.
Bro!! Thank you so much for your amazing video! I got my 2nd Bettafish BJ, and he’s a dabble tail male.., and I never got to ever think about a tank like that for him. Thank you
@@BradleyVlogs-ds2oc Good to hear :) Just watched your vid, keep it up! Ignore the haters, the fish community can be toxic at times! Keep up the fab work! Your Betta is lucky to have you as an owner!
If you search on things like Craigslist or things like that you can find big tank most often with stuff already for it. It’s usually from those who tried but realized it was more work or they just fell out the hobby. Just make sure you ask questions and view the tank first.
Great setup man. For next time, it isn't really ethical to buy a betta (or most any other critter) from a store like Petco. They are slowly dying on the shelves and buying just funds that practice. There are many good betta breeders all over the country if you look around online.
I believe hand scooping is a lot safer than abrasive nets I always make sure to wash my hands with only hot water before doing anything fish related! This was our first time scooping up a fish by hand, we are now a lot faster/better at it 💀 I’m glad you enjoyed
@@xovicc9426 I agree with your breeder! Handscooping is the best way to handle any small fish because our hands are a lot softer and safer.A lot of nets are rough. Maybe the person who first commented does not really know much about fish.

Yes thank you! We made sure to go overboard with research because bettas are so mistreated
Amazing I love the video
not going to lie, when I saw the title I thought it was another person putting a betta in a bowl. Welp, I was wrong.

Haha same

I appreciate you Stay tuned we’re switching up the setup very soon
mom: no, you're not getting a fish

Will you make a Betta product video? Or feeding video?
Yes I would love to cover all the products I’ve tried and use now! I will also show my betta eating
This video is now out!! 😁
You should put the jungle one water conditioner from Walmart it’s better for bettas because it have aloe Vera
Thanks for the recommendation! But we now use Seachem Prime
Is ok if is a litte but sick but if you put it on tank it will heal like a week or a days or a year
Finally not a dumb person that buys a fish and puts it in the bowl
Chinhae the setup but over all tha tank is big enough gud job
its rare u see someone actually begin able to take care of a betta
i got my first betta today and hes adorable!! his name is Carlos
Aww tell Carlos we said hi!

Bettas actually like slow to medium current
Thank goodness ou didn’t go to pet Co cuz there filters are connected which means if one fish gets sick they all get sick
Uhhh i got a tank at Petco and my betta fish did fine in it-
