    [Description]
    Added "Ring of Convert 2handed Weapons" to your inventory, if you lose it it is craftable. This ring will convert 2handed weapons animation to 1handed if equipped. Possibly less buggy than existing 1handed greatsword/battleaxe/warhammer mods. Weapon skills are still tied to two-handed since this mod only converts animations.
    This is done by forcing certain animation variables. I recommend using it in new games as it hasn't been tested much. Please send me feedback on Discord. My Discord Server: / discord

    Equip and block with 2handed weapons.
    [Notes]
    This mod allows you to use 2handed weapons with 1handed animations but does not allow you to hold anything in your left hand. However, what's interesting is that it has the potential to fix "broken" 1handed greatsword/battleaxe/warhammer mods previously created by others. You might be able to use them with shields or torches, but I'm not sure.
    If the animation gets stuck due to "Ring of Convert 2handed Weapons", use 2HAnimFix listed as the lesser power. This mainly happens when using broken 1handed greatsword/battleaxe/warhammer mods. Lesser power is only visible while equipping the ring. Also, it's good to know that any animation bugs are likely to be resolved by "Beast Form" or "Vampire Lord".

    [Known Issues]
    If 1handed animation is applied, weapon drawing animation fails during move in first person.
    If 1handed animation is applied, unequipping the ring will increase the swing speed. (1handed animation swing speed is not appropriate so it needs to be adjusted by the ring.)
    Some animations are not converted. Sprint, sheathed weapon, etc.
    Sometimes animations are buggy for some reason.

    Bro could you do a recolour of spell knight armor set? I would love to combine the necromancer hood + spell knight but the colors don’t look good all together.
    If it wasn’t for you and the ps mod community, playing skyrim on ps4/5 would be impossible, thank you so much for everything

    Does it actually work on Umbra from the CC? Only I've tried every other mod that allegedly does that, and nothing does 🤷🏻‍♂️

      I tried to gather information on Discord, but that place is a mess right now Lmao
      There is some news posted on the BethesdaNetMods page, so I think we should read that first. Probably nothing bad happened but this was definitely an update with changes, not just maintenance.

      ​@@cyan4977 I posted a reply to you, but I don't see it here. You might have to check if I'm in held for review section. Not sure why I would be. Also, multiple reports of issues when trying to load CC. Game crashes. One is PS5 Skyrim AE I know for sure.

      This comment is visible but your previous post doesn't seem to be anywhere. RUclips may delete posts with links as spam, my guess. I went into Skyrim on PC for a few minutes after re-downloading all Creation Club Creations (because I'm too lazy to check for Creations updates) and didn't experience any crashes.

      ​@@cyan4977 My CC, the little I had, needed to be reinstalled. Odd thing was, not all. Doing that then caused most all my mods to disable, when before I messed with CC, they were fine. After enabling my mods again, they crashed me. Also, Bethesda's typed message in the upper right disappears if I load in game, then quit back out to main menu I discovered. As for my original reply, I mentioned that I thought the new creation page was a mess, and didn't like the change. Also, they seemed to have removed the work in progress section for the mods. I'm going to get some rest, as I'm about ready to tell Bethesda exactly where they can stick Skyrim, and never play it again. The game was working fine for everyone and they just couldn't leave it alone. Take care friend. I'll check my messages when I log back in later today.

      @@echo1eyesonly13 Looking back, I had about 10 mods disabled for no reason. After that I simply enabled them. I don't like the new Creations(Mods) page, I agree. WIP section gone, on BethesdaNetMods page or in-game Creations? It is my understanding that WIP mods are put into your library on BethesdaNetMods and appear in the in-game menu. It looks like the WIP category is still available on BethesdaNetMods. As for the crash, I've seen some similar reports, so I'm sure they'll recognize it eventually.
      BTW, they seem to have added a lot of internal assets as modders resources, so maybe I should go back to modding, but I haven't decided how much time to spend on it.

    Hey Cyan, Sorry to have ask another question, but do you know with the update if they changed the amount of mods we can have in the loader? On PlayStation it was 100, on Xbox, I believe it was 150, and if I understand correctly, PC can have as many as they want. The only information I could find was on Bethesda Customer Support, but it looks like the information isn't updated, as it still shows 100 on PlayStation, and 150 on Xbox.

      No. The following is about Xbox, but this case also applies to PS4, especially the last one.
      "We'd love to increase mod space for Xbox.
      Mods space is managed as a harddrive partition. This partition cannot be expanded, although it could be replaced. Unfortunately, this would wipe everyone's downloaded mods and load order. Saves may not work if they were made with mods which are no longer available, or if the load order isn't (manually) put back the same.
      Some folks are very happy to lose all of their saves in return for more mod space. But for an update that effects an entire platform, we need to consider the impact on everyone.
      We haven't given up on this. We regularly check in with Xbox to see if there are any new options available to expand mod space without this issues - or at least mitigating them as much as possible.
      Increase the cap on mods is something we've looked at as well, but given the problems folks were encountering before the cap, this is a larger technical challenge." [sic]

      ​@@cyan4977 I kinda figured they didn't increase it. Just made it more confusing. It use to show something like I had 94 out of 100 mods. Now instead it will show 94 of 94, or 96 of 96. That could be bad for PlayStation players who don't realize it still has a 100 limit. Thank you for the information friend. A viewer asked about the limit. I'll let him know it's the same.

      ​@@cyan4977 I just discovered something odd. Apparently, they did change the amount of mods in the Loader that is allowed. The information we both found Bethesda didn't update to reflect the changes. I was curious as to what would happen when I hit the 100 Limit, but I found I could go past it. I pushed the Loader to 102 mods. Not much I realize, but I'm not reckless. And I shouldn't had been able to do that on PS4. I crashed once after trying to load my current save and Loader, but after that was fine. I'm currently using 102 mods, all active, in Skyrim SE, PS4 Slim. Bethesda needs to update their information. I thought I'd pass the information along to you incase that is important for your mod work or affects it in some way friend.

      @@echo1eyesonly13 Yeah, people are saying that the 100 mods cap on PS4 and 150 mods cap on Xbox are gone. The important thing is that no one at Bethesda has said or responded to it, so I expect this to be a bug, but I'd prefer this to be a feature.

      @@cyan4977 Hopefully it's not a bug my friend. Just think, what if most the playerbase, on both console platforms, suddenly have a lot more mods then the original caps allowed, and Bethesda tries to patch it. I don't think even Bethesda wants to open that Pandora's Box. If It's a mistake, Bethesda needs to admit it, warn people not to exceed the original limits, and fix it. I'm hoping however this was a new feature. And works without issues.

    What the maintenance is supposed to do ? You say on the mod page that you will re upload it but why

      Bethesda Game Studio announced on the 29th that the mods/creations server will be down for maintenance. Sorting the load order also stops working. The reason I am re-uploading the mod is simply that this is a difficult time for my mod to get attention and I don't want to reduce my chances of getting feedback on the mod. They said they don't know how long maintenance will take.

      @@nightcore_nidus4633 I'll delete the old mod page once maintenance is finished and a new mod page is created, but this mod won't break anything in the game by replacing/updating/enabling/disabling/or anything. In the first place, upload/download/enable/disable/delete mods should be down during maintenance.
      That said, for this mod, I recommended using it in a new game. Because it hasn't been tested much, I'm warning you about the possibility of unexpected problems, I hope you read it.

    Hey friend, since you keep an eye on Bethesda's discord, do you know if they have said when maintenance will be completed, or why It's taking much longer than they originally made it sound on the games main menu? At this point I fear they have broken a lot of stuff and were going to be in for another Toddpocalypse like when AE first released. I've tried to find additional information on my own, but both twitter and discord lock me out of Bethesda's posts because I don't use their services. I had found a possible reason to do with a market place upgrade to the game for paid mods, but it wasn't confirmed and I do not want to spread misinformation. My bell notifications are not working correctly at the moment, but I'll keep an eye out for your reply if you send one. Thanks for any information you may know.

      From what I saw, it seemed like they changed something and realized something was broken. There's nothing because they don't detail anything.

      @@echo1eyesonly13 I don't trust it 100%, but they updated the announcement. Now we have some details and dates.
      "Good evening everyone, and thank you all for waiting while our team worked diligently to attain a more concrete timeline. 🙇
      Our already lengthy window was prolonged due to maintenance on the server to improve functionality. This includes migrating all mods to new server architecture and due to the massive number of mods hosted, migration estimates varied. Our team is happy to confirm that tomorrow (Tuesday December 5th) we will have the final touches on our prolonged maintenance, and once complete, we will deploy a patch for Skyrim Anniversary Edition and the Skyrim Special Edition Creation Kit.
      Additionally, we've been working with SKSE to ensure this popular extension can be smoothly updated following the game patch.

      @@echo1eyesonly13 Making videos and sharing information with people is great, but first I want to tell you about what I learned. They can postpone update dates or shut down details as many times as they want. Discord servers have moderators and admins, but the news they can get is the same as what we can get, and all they can do is get it a little earlier than we can. Employees who can communicate with us cannot contact another employee to get new information, it's one-way.

      @@OmegafrazGaming However, please note that this mod does not work that way.
      "This mod allows you to use 2handed weapons with 1handed animations but does not allow you to hold anything in your left hand."
      For dual wielding of 2h weapons and shields or spells, you can test it with the Right Handed type weapon in Aurlcooljay's mod or something, but it's somewhat buggy.

      @cyan4977 maybe it would be easier to make one handed versions of the weapon i know it's possible because I've used a vampire mod that has a craft able bastard sword in it that uses the steel great sword model and has the enchantment to benefit room both one handed and two handed perks

      @cyan4977 maybe a conversion mod similar to the ones that can change the armor type of an item between light heavy or clothing as long as you own the item except instead of being for armor have it be for 1 handed and 2 handed weapons
