Connor either dies and it's just a bunch of free androids (probably won't last long without markus) or Connor loses control and everything they work for goes to waste. The issue isn't how bad the ending is but how hard it is to get on your first run without knowing how to get it. You have to have Markus and north die while on the pacifist ending yet also have Connor join the deviant side. It's not an easy combo without prior knowledge.

connor is the only /\NDROID that can resist the urge to suicide when under tense situations. The /\NDROID that killed its owner, the girl /\NDROID that shot it self, the /\NDROID that jumped off the building didnt have second thoughts and just killed themselves. Connor here knows his importance and what he can do yet still he is under too much pressure for one to handle, which why we're given this choice.
