I've been on a bit of a Harry Potter fan film binge today. I found some I had seen before and liked as well as others that were new to me. This, though, is new, imaginative and thrilling. The only part I didn't like? getting to the end and finding out that part 2 was not yet out! I was distraught as I wanted to see more. Optio, before an hour ago, I had never heard of you, but this one video won my subscription. I love the visual effects, the cast, and the fact that you stick to the Harry Potter world feel without throwing references in your face every few seconds.
This video was masterfully done and I can't wait to see more!

This is absolutely brilliant. I thought i'd seen it all when it came to Harry Potter fan films, but I was obviously wrong. Not only does it feel totally separate from Harry Potter's life, but it immerses you in the meantime. The acting and special effects are amazing, and the plot is really driving. I know this must've taken ages to make, but I can not wait for part 2. A lot fan franchises quit after the first production in what was supposed to be a long line in them. I know it doesn't seem like many people watch this, but keep up the good work. Because we are watching and enjoying. Can't wait for part 2.

The Accio wand moment wasn't him disarming one of the bad guys. I took it as him summoning the wand that was taken from the man he was rescuing. If you get what I mean. The 3 thugs took his wand in the start. And the man saving him summoned the wand back so when they escaped he'd have his wand back. Yada Yada..
Excellent film, and the Annette Hanshaw clip was the icing on the cake.
This is the best Fan-Film I have ever seen! The music is perfectly matching and the accent and your mode of expression is fantastic. The actors are perfect for the roles and they did a great job! I can't wait to see part 2 and I'm hoping more people will see this amazing film.

Really nice, you guys did such a great job of making it seem like it's really 100 years ago, with all the music and props and stuff. I love that aesthetic this film has. I also love all the actors, I recognised all the actors from Pagan. Sound design and VFX are on point as well. I'm looking forward to part 2 a lot now!

As a French person, I'm super grateful you added English subtitles, because my comprehension isn't good enough to fully understand your accents.
But it was brilliant guys. The ambience, the costumes, the plot, the actors... I love that you took your time to really settle the story.
I'm not that surprised to see your work is underrated though, for most people it's probably "boring", with unknown characters, quite slow and contemplative...
Anyways, thank you so much for providing such a great work, moreover for free. Kudos to all the team.

Extremely well made! The plot is really interesting as well. I'm surprised it doesn't have more views.
I just have one criticism. It feels like each shot is longer than it needs to be, there doesn't have to be a pause between each dialogue just showing the person standing there. In normal conversation, people just talk without awkward drawn out pauses between each sentence. But, I still loved watching and can't wait for part two!

Oooooh boi, just came here from Turncoat, the star wars fan film these guys made. I loved that, so I guess I'm gonna buckle in for this 50-fucking-minute video because I'm a hella Potter nerd, it's Sunday, and I'm procrastinating giving my dog a bath.
None of which are related to each other. Well, maybe the 'it's Sunday' and 'dog bath' are. You get what I mean.

A fun little movie and very enjoyable ,apart from the fact that its clearly not set in England and some of those accents lol which make me doubt the fact they are English

Damn, for one moment, before Finch presented himself, I would have bet it was Albus Dumbledore, same kind of sketchy way to adress and recruit people, classy and benevolent yet manipulative at the same time...
I'm ot sure I fully trust that guy though.
But I wouldn't imagine Dumbledore be interested in so low interest matters such as a three hundred years old copnspiracy and the decadence of an old Wizarding family, unless it integrates in a bigger picture.
Ah and of course, Dumbledore never was an Unspeakable so that settles that.
The overall writing and setting up of scnes is very reminiscing of Rowling's own style.
This sort of thing would work well as a multi-season show
This has got to be good the rest are. I am just concerned that it's just part one though? I don't know who is who in real life but the guy who played Ofsted in Pagan and The Deserter are really good actors and they sound really natural in both English and American but if I had to choose I would say they're British because I think it's a bit harder to do than generic yank. Second thoughts Ofsted definately English Deserter maybe not but gives a good English accent anyway? Of course I am basing that on pretty thin evidence mostly the word "duelist" which we tend to pronounce D' you welist and he says "doo ellist" but I could be wrong and he could be Irish or something. The blonde newspaper girl is definitely not English. Lol but they're all good.

Nonetheless, she´s a great actress. With her pallour, mystery and loveliness, she´d make an excellent Snow White in the upcoming liveaction, instead of the loveloathing, manhating, thankless person Disney so mindlessly hired.
