Either you have a staff helping you or your mind never stops working. i am always amazed when you come up something totally new...i love your videos...RESPECT
Angie! Great video. I also love the DTV from Siser. I have been using the backer sheet to help the printed side lay flat before I press it. Through an oopsie moment, I accidentally pressed the DTV with the backer sheet covering the printed side. It didn't stick to the print and worked like parchment. That's my go- to for ensuring my image doesn't move or roll while I'm pressing.
My favorite thing to make is white HTV on a cotton shirt, but I started sublimation a few months ago and I've bern trying to figure out how to keep that bright white with all the pretty sublimation colors. This is perfect for that, thank you! 😊
Hello Angie! Love your genius! This is a great way to incorporate white into Sublimation. I can't wait for you to show the new Siser Easycolor DTV, I have mine ready. Have watched others and love what I see so far. Thanks for another awesome tutorial! 💖💖💖
You're going to love Siser DTV as much as I do. I even add a background color to match the shirt so I can do a gentle trim of the excess to prevent the white rectangle from being noticeable.
Love your videos!! How were you able to get the small spaces in the A's and the small spaces between the lines in the M"s? I usually end up accidently. removing some of what i want to keep.
For me, onesies are easier to get in the shot and actually show the comparison. Then I usually make adult shirts in the sizes I wear so I can actually use what I make.
if I have a t-shirt with 90% of cotton and 10% on spandex for htv do I choose the temperature for cotton or spandex thanks for the time for answering my question
Great, Angie I do not like the new update in Design Space. Is there a way I can keep or get it the way it use to be?? I do not like the new handles . Thank you
Just make sure you cover it. I use plain printer paper. BUT, put some paper inside the tee also to keep the sub ink from going through to the back side. The ink usually doesn't go thru to the back on the first press but definately can on the second press where the HTV is being added.
Great idea ! Any hack you know of if we want to add htv to a sublimation pic larger than cricut's print and cut limit (print larger sublimation pic from another program, but have a cut file for htv through ds that would fit perfectly even then ?) Thks
I have been using the free version of silhouette to print my sublimation images and then uploading the image in DS, using the same sizes as my image in silhouette, to do my offset for glitter htv to be able to sublimate on dark colors.
Hmmmm Was wondering if I can sublimate on HTV Ront Dark fabric paper for a photo to put on black polyester shirt? Thx (for a customer they don't want cotton shirt)
Hi, thank you. Would you please have a video on sublimation on black 100% cotton? I have seen other videos, but it's a 3 steps process. Easysubli, clear htv, then sub image. Do you think 2 layers of HTV make it thicker? Thank you The easycolor DTV is just like printable HTV except it lasts up to 20 washes
You can use regular white HTV under the clear HTV instead of Easysubli and get the same result. But if I have to build 3 layers, I'll just grab Siser DTV and get it done with one sheet. You can add a black background to your image before your print and then just trim the DTV near the design for a DTF-looking image.
How do you correct the colours on the computer before printing to insure the colour stays true to your original design when printing on other light coloured materials such as greys/beige etc.
Is there ever a time you would want to cut a full white background in htv and then print your sublimation design that would press on TOP of the white so the colors ALL pop instead of the colors disappearing into the grey? I hope I’m describing my idea well enough.
@@AngieHolden i got it hot then I used 409 and I plastic scraper and a lot of elbow grease. I took the platen off and flipped it upside down while it was on about 200 degrees. I have a swing away heat press so it enabled me to do that. It took several hits of 409 but I finally got it off. I will remember the iron cleaner for next time. Thank you.
Use plain printer paper. Cover the pad with paper and press for 1 minute and then replace with clean paper. Repeat until the paper has no shadow of the ink when you hold it up to the light. I don't recommend putting anything wet on a hot press, it may warp.

Thank you, I was just thinking the other day, how would I do a panda sub on a colored shirt
Love these ideas. Thank you for the inspiration.
I can’t wait to try this out. Also, will you be doing a tutorial on the new Siser DTV? I’m really interested in that, too. Thanks, Angie!
Yep! I have some here already!

Not that I know of!
So it's ok to press over the sublimation again when adding the HTV layer? I thought you couldn't iron over sublimated ink..?
Yes. As I stated in the video, the HTV is at a lower temperature so probably will not reactive the ink but you use butcher paper just in case.
Just make sure you cover it. I use plain printer paper. BUT, put some paper inside the tee also to keep the sub ink from going through to the back side. The ink usually doesn't go thru to the back on the first press but definately can on the second press where the HTV is being added.

I was thinking on that one. You might be able to separate the layers in Canva then import them?
I have been using the free version of silhouette to print my sublimation images and then uploading the image in DS, using the same sizes as my image in silhouette, to do my offset for glitter htv to be able to sublimate on dark colors.
Hi Angie, I'm trying 2 sublimate a picture in a cotton shirt, can you only use Glitter HTV? or can you use HTV white vinyl as well? Thank you
Try this: ruclips.net/video/gQCZRndBTI8/видео.html
You can also use glow in the dark HTV, flocked HTV, or Holographic HTV.
Question. In the first demo print n cut. Do you mirror the image in printing??
Yes you do always mirror sublimation. As stated in the video, only mirror once. I choose to do so in my print settings and NOT use Design Space.
great video love it
Thanks for watching!
@@AngieHolden you are welcome honey
Can you use cricut iron-on for this?
Sure! Any brand you like really.

In other words, the white htv cut would be pressed first and then the sublimation print would be pressed on top of the already pressed white htv cut.
Not all HTV will work with this method but there are products that will. You can see more here: ruclips.net/video/gQCZRndBTI8/видео.html
This is awesome
How do you do a project that has white throughout the whole picture and is trimmed with white?
You can do sublimation HTV on the shirt then sublimate on the top.
how many time we can use teflon sheet ?
Teflon sheets can be used as many times as you want.
Do the adult shirts run true to size. I looked but couldn't find it anywhere.
I feel like both of these examples were true to size.
What soft ware is this
Cricut Design Space.
If you use siser subli in your Epson f170 do you take mirror off?
Actually the ink will not dry so I wouldn't try printing directly on it from an F170.
@@AngieHolden
so you use inkjet printer?
Thanks
What is sublimation ink for a printer?
Try this: ruclips.net/video/LYj0vS9lOhs/видео.html
Ok so what if you just want to do just a white design you only use white htv only
Yes. Sublimation does not print white.
What setting did you do on the cricut to cut the HTVRONT sublimation vinyl?
Just the vinyl setting worked for me.
How do you clean your platen on your heat press? I did a boo-boo and I need to clean it off. Please help
Can you get it hot and then use a cloth to clean? I have done that before. They also make iron cleaner that would probably work!

It wasn’t ink that I got on my heat press@@patriciakidd5358
This isn’t sublimation tho
The background design is sublimation. The accents are HTV.
