Thanks for the tutorial...I did mine today after watching...saved over $800 at the local garage. Another good way to get the 'cones' out is to tap a small screwdriver into the slot. Rotate them til the slot faces out, then light tap into the slot so it doesn't reach the thread on studs and damage them. They slip straight off...greetings from SW Australia...
Great video, very informative step by step. But the lack of grease in the original birf is most likely why it failed in the first place, you said you were in there once before.. then seeing the lack of grease put in the new one I assume you will back in there again soon..

Great video its been a while 2015 never done a birfield your stub axle needs grease your bearing that disc needs to do one spin min max youve got the wieght of the car and wheel not tight enough. always learning me.
