There’s a big european brand (BlueBand known as Rama where I live) making plant based alternatives for professionals and some products for „typical consumers” and recently they released the most authentic vegan cream for whipping or sauces (my vegan-sceptic and dairy loving fam approved) that is actually also based in lentil protein! Just fyi, I genuinely think it is awesome :D
White beans, garlic, onion powder, smidge of liquid smoke, little bit of veg broth/bouillon, nooch.. that’ll make a nice Alfredo like sauce. The liquid smoke give it a little bit of a Gouda kick
my recommendation for the pasta is to cook the tomato paste with the onions/garlic and then either put the cooked tomato paste/garlic/onion mixture in the blender with the tofu sauce ingredients or blend the tofu sauce ingredients separately and pour it into the pan with the cooked tomato paste/onion/garlic and stir to combine, similar to how you would make vodka sauce.

Avoid heat poisoning: half water, half powerade. Sweating a ton and drinking water messes up your electrolyte balance.

obvi "girl dinner" is a new # term. I just call it hodgepodge when I just look in the pantry and fridge and make something random. Ya never know what you are going to come up with and it usually hits the spot 💕

Heat stroke/heat exhaustion can be quite dangerous. Staying hydrated is very important, but be cautious because drinking too much water too fast can cause hyponatremia (a lower than normal level of sodium in the body). It happens rarely but can be fatal (Ashley Summers from Indiana just died from it). Not trying to scare anyone, just giving some facts

100% correct. Ive heard about hyponeutremia long ago via marathon n triathlon training. Seen it too

It seems to me that the restaurants and especially bakeries you ate at did not specify themselves or anything on their menus as "vegan", meaning NO milk, eggs, cheese, butter or animal products are used! Once again, I must point out that RANCH has milk and had never said they used a substitute at all.
Everything eaten in this video was vegan. Yep, the ranch too. And everything ordered at restaurants was specified vegan by the restaurant :)

I was told the reason why the sandwiches are called Arous (bride) is because traditional Lebanese wedding gard included a white waist wrap for the bride. The pasta looks fantastic I think it needs a green maybe spinach.

Any chance we can get more videos of you eating at NYC restaurants with all the details? Or maybe start marking your videos so that we know when it's food and when it's not?
I try to only montage through food ive already eaten before in the video or just aesthetic clips. I got feedback a while ago to include more of that so now im confused haha. It's still a mostly food-centered video! But I'll try to post more restaurant ones :)

Haha I understand! But I montaged those clips because I didn't eat all those pastries. I was just shooting a video for IG there and thought you'd appreciate seeing some BTS! What I did eat was that breakfast sandwich I showed after the montage.
