As a teenager who is extremely nostalgic for the prequels I'm gonna watch it. The Sequels nostalgia baited the old fans. Now they are nostalgia baiting the 15-35 year olds who had the prequels growing up for money
I don't really get your frustration, if you don't want to watch the shows, then don't. I never had a problem with watching x seasons of anything, as long as it's good, in fact, if it's good throughout, then the more the better. I watched the Clone Wars, the mainline movies ep 1 2 3 4 5 6 (and 7 but regrettably so), I watched Solo and Rogue one, The Mandalorian and 2 ep of Boba Fett, played Kotor 1 and 2, played Republic Commando and Battlefront 2, but I've never seen ep 8 9 or Rebels, so to me it isn't about 'who it's made for' but more so if it's good, I definitely hesitate to watch Star Wars content now, it's so saturated, but sometimes you get something good like The Mandalorian, most times something bad like Boba Fett or ep 7 8 9
Unpopular opinion but I don’t care lol, this show doesn’t need to exist. It’s going to mess with the already established canon, I just know it. Add to that, Obi Wan is DEFINITELY going to be made a side character in his own show. Calling it. And in the grand scheme of things, it’s filler. So, I’m passing on it
