Warner Bros. does indeed own the rights to 2001, who also own DC. There is currently a lawsuit between Marvel & DC over ownership rights to Machine Man, since that 2001 adaptation is his first appearance.
Oh right! I heard about that! I wonder if that lawsuit came up because Marvel was trying to license to comic. They have been a bit license crazy lately.
@@epicmarvelpodcast do you have any confirmation that the DC World's Finest will have uninterrupted runs of stories? Those who love Superman would love to see the "Triangle Era" in Yearly Volumes
@@BiblicalCinematicUniverse There's minimal information so far (that I could find) but it doesn't sound much like the Epic line to me (aside from printing format). It sounds like they're doing "Big Stories" but not uninterrupted runs. For example, the first Batman volume will be collecting Year One and Year Two (which took place in different titles) and the Catwoman volume includes stories from completely different eras.
@@canadianmustash I'm surprised then they wouldn't just have a trade of all the "year one" and "year two" stories, and "year three" in there as well. i guess we have to wait to find out more, but for SUPERMAN, it would be good to go by those little triangle numbers.

Yeah, I do think so. It won’t be long before we see one of those Returns volumes show up in an announcement.
Already got the Kirby Cap Omnibus-so I can sell it now!👌anyway it’s nice to see the gap narrowing between the volumes.
This volume doesn’t have the entire Kirby run, so sell at your own risk!
