Oh, wow! I totally forgot about Howard the Duck! Great pick! Godzilla would be cool, but I don’t think they own the licensing rights to it, unfortunately.
There's a Godzilla Marvel Years Omnibus coming up so they have at least a limited time license. That may specify hardcover reprints only or may not be a wide enough window to get out multiple formats but since they've done the clean up work it would be nice to get a paperback release, should be an all in one since it was only a single volume in Essentials.
Before I watch, my 15 most wanted epic collection titles (all vol.1's) * Captain Marvel Mar-vell * Adam Warlock * Quasar * Nova * Man-Thing * Werewolf By Night * Son Of Satan * Spider-Woman * Savage She-Hulk * Master Of Kung Fu * Dazzler * Cloak & Dagger * Ka-Zar * Captain Britain * Hercules
Man, maybe I should’ve done a top 20 or 25! Great list… and I especially agree with Quasar, Adam Warlock, Son of Satan, Ka-Zar, and Werewolf by Night, for sure - far more than Nomad! Get on it, Marvel! 😂
I’ve been saying for a while that Marvel needs to reprint Power Man & Iron Fist Vol. 2 and get Hulk Vol. 12 while they still have the ROM license. Worried they weren’t in the last wave of announcements, but hope remains eternal
Spectacular Spiderman needs to be in epic format but most importantly Spider-Woman! Cant believe we are 10 year in the line and not a single Spider-Woman epic has been made Even b and c level characters like Shang Chi and Morbious got their own Epics why not SpiderWoman one of the most iconic Marvel girls
So Alpha Flight, Cable, Captain Marvel, The Champions, Cloak and Dagger, Dazzler, Inhumans, Marvel Team-Up, New Warriors, Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nomad(Jack Munroe), Power Pack, ROM: Space Knight, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Spider-Woman. These are interesting choices for an Epic Collection. great idea!!! There's 10 Modern Era Epic Collections that I want Marvel to do: 1. Amazing Spider-Man by J. Michael Strazynski 2. Incredible Hulk by Bruce Jones 3. Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man by Brian Michael Bendis 4. Amazing Spider-Man by Nick Spencer 5. Thor by Donny Kates 6. Venom by Donny Kates 7. The Ultimates by Mark Millar and Brian hitch 8. Immortal Hulk 9. Scarlet Spider: All the Power, None of the Responsibility 10. Ultimate Spider-Man by Brian Michael Bendis
@@AlphachadEpicCollector because they already started the first two Modern Era Epic Collections for X-Men. New X-Men and Astonishing X-Men. If there's a Bonus choice for a Modern Era Epic Collection, it would be Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman.
@@jessemillan1385 Fair enough. I guess I meant what other modern X-Men Epics besides NEW and ASTONISHING. Personally, I’m intrigued by this dude Donny Cates’ work.
@@AlphachadEpicCollector I’ve never been a fan of that character. Also, that comic wasn’t great from what I remember. It has been a while since I read it though. Maybe it’s better than I remember.
jack monroe was the 1950s bucky and was frozen for a while came back fought cap an falcon was cure by shield then became caps partner that did last long he went solo by that time he was an anti hero used guns etc etc any way he ha a goo book would love some epics
Hey, we got Killraven, anything can happen! New Warriors is my biggest want. And it's one of the few long-standing titles that kept up its quality in the 90s until it was cancelled. Alpha Flight has gotta be my number two. Although once Byrne leaves, the book gets rough. Not really looking forward to reading 90s Alpha Flight when it was constantly tied up in Infinity crossovers, but I'll soldier through if they give it to us!
I agree with you. There are many titles that I’ve read where once a particular writer, or even a penciler, leaves the series and is replaced by a new team, you can feel the tone shift dramatically… and not altogether for the better. But I, too, just soldier on until the entire volume is complete.
Totally agree with you about Fury and Howard, but Godzilla… I don’t know. I feel like that one is iffy for me, like Planet of the Apes. But Marvel may surprise us yet!

My guess is they’re just waiting on a Spider-Woman-type project to happen and perhaps synergistically release an Epic in tandem with it.
Marvel's Godzilla run will be out as an omnibus late this summer so an epic would be great too
If they did, I’d probably skip it. I’m not big on licensed property.

A bonus choice of mine for a classic Epic: HOWARD THE DUCK! Very nice list for modern Epics, by the way, but why no X-Men?

The spectacular Spider-Man issues with champions rounded of the title. Similar to iron fist being completed in marvel team up.
I agree.
This is a great list. I would buy all of these…except Nomad! 😅 Actually, I would probably even buy that. Great video!
