That is an "epic" collection, Michael. I too am a huge FF fan. That's where I started my collection. The only issues with the epic and Omnibus Marvel books are the crossover stories. We don't always get a whole story arc, although they do the best they can. Your books look like a lot of fun.
It's amazing that they've kept the same format for so long. With that many books you would expect all kinds of sizes and spine designs, because publishers hate bookshelves.
I suddenly truly comprehend why you did a read what you own 500 book challenge. You gotta make room for all of your Epic collections. This is exquisite.
Wowzers .. thats some collection, when it comes to picking something for Epic Comicbook Wednesday, I think youre good for a few years. Thanks for the eyecandy, I enjoyed oogling your bookcase of Epics.
It’s so obnoxious how often these epics go out of print considering they’re supposed to be the budget line for collecting, and yet I’m now in the thick of collecting the Uncanny X-Men omnibuses because all the relevant epics were out of print at the time and the omnibuses were the cheapest. Like the Claremont/Byrne X-Men epics should never be out of print considering that is the classic run for the X-Men. Same thing for the Lee/Ditko Spider-man and the Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four epics. The volumes with the indisputably classic runs should never be out of print, the same way DC keeps Dark Knight Returns and Death in the Family and Hush in print at all times
Eye candy collection! I'd gladly get the Marvel Team-Ups if they'd republish them. In the 70s and early 80s, that and Marvel Two-in-One were among my most anticipated monthly reads. They were almost always decent to great.
Super impressive collection of epics - love the video ! 200 ... wow, I have 50 or so but probably because I have mainly collected the books with earlier comics, so missing all the later Spidey etc. Missed a lot when they first came out. I keep wondering about the Marvel Team Up as well as the Epic 'Linda Carter' collection (and Captain Savage). I'm the same if I have the omnis, not going to get the epics as well. Surely have a complete collection one to do as well ?? I think you have all the current West Coast Avengers
A beautiful sweep of Epic Collections in blue and red and green and purple, a vista of wonderful reading, the fusion of image and word. FF is one of my favourites too along with The Avengers, although my first Marvel comics were Conan The Barbarian #10 and Monsters On The Prowl #11. I have many more Marvel Essential volumes than Epics because they are cheap on Ebay, although they're really placeholders as I'm gradually replacing them. Good to see Killraven in there, a character and title (Creatures On The Loose) I fondly remember.
I recently bought an Epic Collection of Amazing Spider-Man Kraven's Last Hunt which is the first one I have. I'm planning to collect the Epic Collections on Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, She Hulk, Nova, DareDevil, Iron Fist, Power Man and Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Punisher, Iron Man, Thor, Excalibur, New Mutants, Wolverine, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Captain America, Generation X, X-Factor, Namor the Sub Meriner, Black Panther, Ant Man, Avengers West Coast, Ms. Marvel, Carnage, Venom, Morbius, Silver Surfer, Thunderbolts, X-Force, Master of Kung Fu, Defenders, Hawkeye, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Deadpool. Same goes for the Modern Era such as Agent Venom, Loki, Spider-Gwen, New Avengers, Red Hulk, Guardians of the Galaxy, DareDevil, and many other heroes added to the Epic Collection line.
Would these epic sometimes go into like complete decades like for example the entire 1990s for Spider-Man? Thanks That's what I'm kind of hoping for Spider-Man anyway
Pretty sure you're only missing one of the Avengers West Coast volumes that is available. That is the only Epic versions I have bought at this point. 5 volumes are out and they finally last month had preorders for a sixth. So that should be out in 3 or 4 months. I would post pictures of my graphic novel collection on the Discord comics category but mine would look so weird. Not having the space I put my graphic novels in short boxes. My shelves are mostly the last volume or volumes that have books missing between them of an Essential or DC Showcase series to remind me where I left off to continue my hunt for those. I do have a comic inventory app but that can get confusing because Essentials sometimes changed cover art or issues contained with later printings including reprints in other books or throw in a standalone Marvel Graphic novel.
Wondering if you were into The Man Called Nova. No Epic Collection volumes I guess, since they did the 'Nova Classic' versions which are very nice, and similar in format. I'm jealous of those Moon Knight epics, very cool.
Fantastic collection. You're a very big Marvel fan, as I've been. I didn't like the "Star Wars" comics of which Marvel got the franchise. It was published at a period of decline there, during "the plague" that see a wholesale cancellation of comics. It just wasn't Marvel.
Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The New Republic Vol. 5. get these bcouse it have best star wars story after orignal movies time. dark empire trilogy. its out 2021.

Mine’s better. I have 262 total so far.

It’s aesthetically pleasing on multiple levels - color story, content, etc! What a fantastic collection. 👏🏻👏🏻

Oh my word!!! That is an amazing collection!! Nothing more beautiful than a full book shelf. 💗

Jus started mine with volume 1 of both amazing spider man and wolverine. Actually been really excited to read as a 30 year old man!
The epic line is great i just started reading it i don't own any yet though
I just collect the doctor strange epic collections, my favorite character. Love this awesome collection!
Good Gawd A'mighty! Literally ten times as many as I have myself! And there are PLENTY of good ones coming out this year, to add to the pile!
I love your collection. You’re an inspiration

They are pretty and colorful. It's great to have these collections..

An impressive collection, to be sure! But ... no Deathlok?
I love these videos. (That’s a lot of money on that shelf)
I started my FF epic collection last week only have two volumes so far. I also plan getting silver Surfer and marvel two in one as well.
That was exciting. Will we ever see a Marvel Fanfare epic collection ?
That's a nice collection. I limit my ECs to everything before 1980.
Amazing collection
Great collection.
I’m looking forward to in-depth discussions of some of these on epic comic book Wednesday! How about some Moon Knight sometime soon!
Killraven - Alan Davis is a legend.
I recently bought an Epic Collection of Amazing Spider-Man Kraven's Last Hunt which is the first one I have.

Awesome tour!
Epic! Amazing! Marvel-ous!
This is epic! Spider-Man is My Main Most Man 😂

thanks for sharing

No Nova Epic Collection but there is going to be an Omnibus edition published very soon!
Oh Roger, please bring me these Epic Collections...I know where you can get some premium fresh organs.

Exciting!Admirable! What about Red Sonja? Did MarvelComics produce Epic Collections of Red Sonja? This episode is very impressive
Sadly, Marvel lost the rights for Red Sonja a while ago. I believe Dynamite Comics still has them.
Amazing. Get in touch to arrange a live chat! 👊🍻
Impressive....
I am so jealous.
Impressive!
Marvel considers Punisher toxic now.
That’s unfortunate.
Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The New Republic Vol. 5. get these bcouse it have best star wars story after orignal movies time. dark empire trilogy. its out 2021.
Bob Layton is the best Iron Man artist.
How well do these Epics keep in value? Say you wanted to sell all of these in 10 years, would you make or lose money?
Epic collections go out of print quickly and usually can be resold for absurd prices. It kind of depends on the book though.
Epic
I have them downloaded in my tablet
What in the actual hell??!?!!? xDDDDDDDDD
I hear that once you get to the mid 20s, that's when it all starts to turn into poo poo.
