"You need to take risks and put trust in other players in order to fully enjoy DayZ" 20 minutes ago I spent about an hour gathering materials, two different weapons with ammo, started a fire in a stove to stay warm, got a bunch of food, saw another player limping around before they saw me. I approached them and said "hey you, do you need anything?" They shot me.
Next time that happens, make sure you have the jump on them and do not approach, speak to them from a vantage point. where you can easily put them down if they seem shady
The “don’t trust anyone rule” imo is a little foggy a few years back I was new to the game I met this guy he helped me learn the ropes he brought me to a military base we survived together and he eventually became one of my best friends to this day we still talk on Snapchat and call
i came across a guy who happened to be a DayZ streamer. i told him i'm a noob, and he helped me out. we got a couple other people to join our group, but most of us (including me) died from hunger, blood loss, etc.
one time i tied myself up and i was alone. i was trying to bandage cuz a zombie bit my ass cheek and i grabbed duct tape instead of my bandages and didnt pay attention to the pop up. so embarrassing
@@jibb1451 in a rp discord server someone showed a clip of someone sticking them up with duct tape and accidentally tied themselves. They started begging and bargaining like saying "ill give you loot" before getting punched unconscious
i did that twice in like the same hour the first guy didnt notice so i untied my self then he noticed after i untied my self then like 30 min ltr i did it again and the dude said " your not the smartest are you" and i said" yeah im not" then he took my gun and killed me, i gotta say i was laughing so hard after it
One time I got caught sneaking around the shacks behind the police station by a group of heavily armed players. They made me sprint down the main road and back (to see if there were any snipers out and about) and when I lived, they stripped me and another guy they captured naked, and put an axe on the ground between us. Three, Two, One, FIGHT! I went for the axe while my opponent just started punching at me. I ended up being the loser, and the winner got all the loot they had stripped off of us except for the bits they wanted and released. It was hilarious.
the very first person i trusted in game was a guy who was starving, bleeding, and punching 3 zombies in a field. i helped him fight off the zombies, gave him a tuna, and dropped him a damaged scorpion with 8 rounds that i found that way. he picked it up and killed me.
yeah, similar thing happened to me. helped an unarmed guy kill a zombie, talked to him a bit. he didnt talk back, but thats ok. he followed me around, then the moment there was loot tried to punch me in the back of the head. i had an axe, and he was soon a mess on the floor, but i just dont understand why he would attack me over a pistol.
I dont understand it. People are so nice to me. And people who greet me with bullets, usually stop, when I say "No, stop" 😅 To be fair, I am pretty new in this game and my loot hasn't been that great, but people even cook food for me, give me stuff and help me if I don't know how to do something. I always like to meet new people, I don't have any loot so nothing to lose.
My buddy and I put our faith in a random dude that messaged me while we were at the airfield. He gave us two Ak-47’s, 3 Mags each, and some tetra to treat our sickness. Now we’re all in a group and play together.
Never betray people willing to help out Some people like me will stay trusting, but never give you the same chance. But other people will turn into toxic players, iv seen the good corrupt. Its scary
@@chrisaguilar91 not going to lie, it’s been sitting in my collection. I haven’t played it in like 5 months, the first 3 months were phenomenal as I learned everything but it got stale from there. I do on occasion load it up and have some fun but at the price I snatched it at I still think it was worth it.
For the don't shoot zombies tip, it reminds me of the saying we have in the infantry: "silence, violence, silence". You want to stay stealthy but after that first shot is fired, your in firefight mode were how loud your being typically doesn't matter bc the enemy already knows where your at.
@@taytheprodigy4388 i believe it came as a change when they released the 1.12, Nowadays i always carry an MK.II with me to instakill zombies with headshot silently from far away before going to the area
@@Ztrategist the only reason a geared player should carry a pistol with silencer is for dealing with zombies stealthily when you can't melee them or trap them fast in a building or when you don't want to be running around with zombies behind you. In a pickle it might be a lifesaver vs players but most of the time you can just reload or a full mag is enough to deal with most groups.
I’ve encountered one before, I asked if he could take his helmet off so I could hear him better but he ignored me. Seemed pretty chill but I backed off
Another tip that can be used for bait or to drag zombies out of your area. If you throw any item in any direction nearby zombies they will follow the sound of that item when it hits the ground. This can be useful to clear your path, make another player focus on a running zombie when in reality you are flanking them and more
I had swim raiders do this The way to counter is logging in and out 😂😂 Everytime a player enters the spawn area, the zombies respawn. Even if the previous wernt killed 😂😂 We lost, but i had them dancing around zombies for 2-3 hours. Cuz anytime we would step out of cover they would line up a wall bang with the swimmers view
I don’t understand this game . Had a good start then the server ended and I lost all my loot without dying . Is this how the game is or?? I just got it
@@DatBoyPhilthy probably the sever you were playing on reset and takes a few minutes before you can load back into that sever. They do that on this game but you keep all your stuff load back into that server
dont forget to check every last outhouse, regardless of what its next to. they will spawn every type of loot from what ive experienced. atleast on official servers. only thing ive yet to find are bags and medical supplies. so if youre hurting for some odds n ends, check the poop shacks. always worth a look.
Sharpening stones, boxed nails, and spark plugs i never check houses basically, but i always check outhouses, sheds, greenhouses and garages You need food? Learn the fruit tree spawns 😂🤷♂️ Houses are always empty after reset cuz everyone wants food
@@donovanulrich348 im learning the different trees and where they usually are. its helpful the apple trees actually hasve apples on them lol i dont bother with car parts, everyone assumes youre with a clan when you bring up having car parts. its only been a liability to me, like carrying any military gear.
I have a strict “don’t trust randoms” rule. This came to be when I was surviving on skalisty with 2 friends and this random Australian guy came up to us. He was starving, sick, and running from Zombies. I wanted to shoot him at first but my friends wanted to nurse him back to health. After feeding him and giving him the last of our medicine he starts feeling better and I decided he should at least help us start up our base. I gave him an armband to induct him into our faction and put him to work. I got sick with a cold so my friends went into Elektro to retrieve medicine leaving me by myself. Long story short I was cooking up more fish for the guy when he uses a hatchet I gave him to stab me in the neck. He skinned and quartered me and when my friends got back they found him hiding in a barn and blew his brains out with a 12 gauge. From then on we haven’t trusted any randoms.
I gave the trust thing a go for a bit...to this day I remember meeting a guy and we played for about 2 hours surviving and generally having a laugh together...just had my back turned for a moment and he axed me just like that. An experience that only DayZ can create like that, so yeah never take your eye off someone you've been getting to know even when you think it's comfortable.
I love helping players, so when someone asks me for food, water or medicine i handcuff them first and then i feed them with my own hands. Trusting no one is not a reason to not help someone. Just be careful out there.
The trust no one part is kinda true ig. I died sooo many times because other players handcuffed med and shot me, funny enough the first two guys said “you’ll love this game” and then shot me 😅 But i was also really lucky with a guy that warned me, that if i went up the stairs he would’ve shot me. I respected that and left.
My first random player trust experience Was on community, i found a kid looting around my base in Krassnotav. I hid in the treeline and walked out to him, asked if he wanted to loot together and hit Tisy town. Got in party chat, I got a car and we had 3 hours of looting up He "pulled a prank" after we were packing up the tent. He tried saying a bear got him when i left to get the car from where we hid it, and i called him out cuz a body would be there, and he shot me from the treeline wile i was in the car. "Haha, where are you dude" Me: dead silent "Dude where are you" I was in the fucking car!!! "Oh my bad" You could hear his brother over the mic "The fuck is wrong with you? I half expected him to randomly kill you! And he ended ip being a cool guy!! The fuck is your problem" And he tried apologizing, but i was just numb
If I’m a freshie with a motorbike helmet, I usually put my helmet in my hands when communicating with other freshies - if they don’t have a gun, and become hostile, a helmet can crack someone’s skull open just as good as a hammer. I’d rather have a motorcycle helmet in my hand than just my bare fists.
5:50 met some random guy there was a huge fight at airfeild and I was really geared but fresh spawns where flocking over there I was hiding in a house when I heard the door open I got ready to shootthen i saw it was a fresh spawn I was being friendly and gave him my spare gun we went and killed 3 people together then he aimed the gun at me I moved and he saved my from a sneaky player then I knew I could trust him but as we where going up a hill I got shot told him to run and got knocked out then when I woke up there he was the shooter looting my friends dead body I killed him no questions asked left all his stuff buried my friend with my shovel and left remembering him
On god the rule "dont trust anyone" really isn't the best thing to follow. I met 2 people on my first time playing Livonia the week it came out. Since then, I still play Tarkov and Dayz with these guys in their Discord server
be wary is the rule, only when you think the other player is friendly as well go and meet up. I usually talk to players before shooting unless on NWAF or something and they're fully geared and obviously going for pvp. And even then its fun to taunt someone you trapped in a building, try to negotiate a deal, get them to surrender etc. I don't like taking all their stuff from them but usually take the ammo for the guns they carry, the food or bandages that forces them to move away to other places to get resupplied. Nice way to get them away and keep people alive. I hate the KOS in random places a lot of players do. Most fun is to be had when RP a bit and go to a town for instance, hear people shoot and go investigate, asking the newspawns etc if there is a geared guy shooting them and procede to team up to kill that player. The newspawn gets a shitton of loot, you maybe upgrade weapons and you have a great experience. Or you die, but thats also part of the game.
I end up looking half geared 😂 With assult rifles and what not, but i never KOS So unless your paranoid to the point where you shouldnt be playing, dont KOS without cause If i hear snaps, every non allied in the area is hostile till they leave. Never trust someone in a firefight, you dont know who their friends are or where there loyalties are yet
The trust ones kinda debatable. I’m fairly new to day z, but one day I had a whole bunch of low level gear and this dude was getting attacked by a mob of infected, so I ran over and helped him out. Neither of us had a mic so we both jumped up and down and when we understood we meant each other no harm we exchanged tools and he bandaged me. Thanks random motorbike helmet dude, you were an absolute lad.
I started playing this for the first time a few weeks ago. My first life I ran up on a guy in a house just in off the coast and he had his back to me using the stove and was half decently geared. I decided I had the jump on him and started trying to mele. He turns around after I hit him once and I immediately shit my pants and run out of the house because he had a gun on his back and I ran up the road that went through the field up to that house a little up the road. I aggrod some zombies and was hiding in the shed on the other side of the house. I didn't realize I was bleeding out and had been scratched several times. I opened the door to the shed and there was the player I attacked, just watching me from 20 feet away by the house. He killed the zombies so I opened the door from the shed and came out and took about 2 steps before bleeding out and dying. Second and third life are a bit of a blur I ran too much in my second life I didn't realize how much food and water it was taking and I met a guy with a rifle who gave me water after I asked him for it and then I just kept running and didn't give him back his bottle lol. I eventually gathered some gear but was running so much and didn't know where to get food and water and died in a hunter cabin from that. I think I'm on my fourth life right now. I have a 22 pistol with no mag for silently killing zombies, I've used it a ton. I have a mosin with no scope, the 357 lever action rifle, a 9x39 semi auto rifle with a magazine, a silenced 45 and a silenced scorpion and a ton of ammo I made it all the way to the top left of the map to the military base on the mountain. I still haven't found a scope or assault rifle but I kind of want to at least get a scope before I go against any other players. I'm good at finding food and water now so I've just been keeping my eye out for other players. I hear shots sometimes and explosions and will walk that direction. I figured I'm just going to shoot whoever I see but idk I guess it depends what they look like maybe if they look friendly I can try to talk first. One time when I was looting houses I was going between houses and I saw another guy right behind me go into the house I just looted, so I knew he would be coming to my house next. It was the first time I had seen another player besides the guy I tried to kill in my first life and the other guy who gave me water. It scared me so much it made my heart pounding and I was inside aiming my gun at the door waiting for him and then I just logged off xD After that I was running along another road through a field towards some woods and I saw another dude running up the road. I didn't shoot at him because at that point I think I just had a crappy gun and not much ammo. Later as I was still going alongside the road through the woods I came along a set of tents on either side of the road and when I was going by them in the woods I saw another guy walk straight at me coming out of the tent with a motorcycle helmet on maybe 25 feet away and I was so scared I dropped into prone and aimed my rifle and I was waiting but he didn't come up. This was like the 5th player I had ever seen in the game and was again terrified and waited a long time in the woods by the tent spotting it out and I thought I saw another guy patrolling in front, and I was watching him from far and then I couldn't tell if it was a player or a zombie, and it looked like he was walking in a line back and fourth between two places like a patrol, but it was hard to tell because one end of the line he was walking was blocked from my vision by the hill. At the very beginning when I first saw the guy with the motorcycle helmet come out of the tent I had his head in the sites of my rifle and I could have shot but didn't. It's just amusing to me how intense these situations were to me even though its just a game haha. I'm acting like its really me in the game and my life is at stake.
also a tip from escape from tarkov......know when too move slow and when to move fast is defo a good way to avoid being seen, example....dont sprint though super tight clusters of pine trees as i will hear you coming from miles away and when a player is stopped you have no way of knowing that they are there...the amount of times i gotten easy kill cos people sprint everywhere....in super tight trees if you have all round concealment its a good a idea to crouch run and rotate your whole body rather than just turning your characters head that way if find a bush wookie you can raise ur weapon without having to recenter your view and then rotate
I’m brand new to the game and every single player I’ve come across, with exception to 1, has been very kind to me and actually given me stuff. The don’t trust people rule only really comes into effect when you’re geared up in my experience. Or it could be because they knew I was a noob, whatever it was it’s worked for me
You probably meet a group of friendly factions or a nice server Iv been chased by fresh spawns and geared players, wile iv had nothing and or geared up double backpack. But iv meet the coolest people ever occasionally the same way, my buddy DemonX held me at gun point wile i was walking a M3S tire. He didnt kill me, i couldnt talk. He knew where the truck spawn was i was going to, and we meet up and i hot my mic settings fixed. We are best buds and run together all the time now We still look for friendly players, but i have a list of people that are Dead to me 😂 ill never KOS, but when i find their bases i blow up all the cars 😂👍🏻 They steal them from me, ill rebuild it on my time thanks
You need to treat each situation differently when it comes to trust in the game just like in life, does the person have a massive ammount of stuff and an armband? Then you should probably avoid them as they will most often only care about their teammates. I find the friendliest people are the ones with little. I'll usually try to help out new players whenever I can even if I'm geared so just take a second before you make a decision, sometimes it's worth the risk. One extra tip is the game was created to be played in third person. Use it to your advantage and only use first person when you might be fighting or moving through bushes or trees.
I only wear a armband when my friends and i are on a mission, so thats a good tip to avoid those players. Im a nice guy, i 9/10 times crouch and walk away. But when on mission for teammates i will protect them with my life, and any and all hostiles are neutralized. My buddy is good enough to use a shotgun and rubber slugs. Im a rifle man, if i see a gun moving closer to us. Its dead Jim 😂👌
I just played dayz with a friend and it was mainly us trying to get our loot back in the kamyshovo police station, which resulted in a massive fail, hopefully, these do's and dont's will help us not get killed!
Would love to see a video about the controls for shooting etc on PC. The way you aim/reload in DayZ is not typical for most popular FPS games and I found it quite unintuitive in the beginning and still do to some extent now, some tips would be helpful.
I was starving on a beach so i was fishing and built a fire on it as well (it was also pitch black so i stood out like a sore thumb). This fully geared player came up, helped me, gave me a weapon and some ammo and then we got ambushed by a guy with a sledgehammer who knocked him out with one hit, i killed the guy with the gun my new friend gave me and then revived him. We paired up for an hour then both stepped on a land mine
“Don’t trust anyone” that makes the game no fun. Interactions are key. When I bought this game 2 years ago I logged in for the first time and was so lost, didn’t know where anything was and didn’t know where to go for good loot, luckily I spawned in Elektro and 2 British dudes approached me and and asked if I was okay, I told them this was my first life ever and they let me join them, they showed me how to navigate, and they took me clear to Tisy to gear up. If I hadn’t trusted those guys I would have been so lost.
Love the content! I've been playing since 2012 on the Arma Mod and love watching DayZ videos. I love your tips and tricks videos and have always suggest them to any new players I find on my adventures. With this new update they changed the way gunfights are gonna go and the damage of weapons and such and I know u already did a video on that and I also enjoyed your pistols only challenge so I have a challenge for you. I run with 1 gun 1 handgun and a melee like the good ol dayz :) and I've noticed that handguns are much more viable now than they were before. Try and run with my loadout from my old hardcore Arma Mod dayz and keep it pistol focused. Whatever handgun u wanna use, I use the FX45 (itd be cool if u keep switching out and trying different ones and get kills with each) A baseball bat And a damaged SKS with limited ammo I know the damaged sks with limited ammo sounds like a dick move but the old DayZ was hard and we had to make do soaking wet in the woods with a broken leg fighting each other with broken guns with the 3 bullets we could find after 6 hours of playing while whoever survived prob starved or was eaten by wolves within 10 minutes and I miss those days. Lately I find myself only playing on hardcore or vanilla servers and simply killing myself once I get fully geared just so I can go back and struggle again. Maybe I hate myself or maybe it's just that much fun but that feeling u get after u barely managed to kill a bandit more equipped than you is addictive.
at 8:40 this actually happened to me the first time I was playing, some fully kitted dude came to me and told me to stand still he then tied himself up, and I know where this was going so I killed him and took his shit. Let that be a lesson :D
3:34 - Me and a friend recently started playing and uh yea Imma write this like a short story because it felt like i was in a book A man is walking down a street in a zombie apocalypse and sees 2 military men running towards him. They stop him and interrogate him about who his is; where hes going, if he has any friends etc. Shits tense right. THEN they make the guy follow them to a police building; Telling him to go in and deal with the zombies, Intimidated af and knowing hes probably dead either way; he goes in hoping to find a gun and run out the back door. As the cop shop doors open an explosion goes off. The man survived a fucking Land mine and gained the nickname "Ox-cow" for being as strong as an ox but as stupid as a cow
Love your content mate. Personaly, I realized that I prefer the game when I'm kinda "fresh spawned", because I met more people, I have less loot on me to lose (let's be honest it's always frustrating specialy when you are KoS). I really wish devs could add more interactive stuff (like you have to be at least 2 to deploy a tent or things like this, you got the idea?) gl hf survivors
I've been wondering something for a while. You burn through food faster while sprinting but can you travel the same distance on a full stomach as walking? Has anyone tested this with two players that have full stomachs and the same loadout/naked, travelling the same route?
Damn this game has come a long way. I've been playing on PC "now on PS4" since the days of the gates of doom. For those who dont know any gate in the game when opened used to kill you pretty much every time if you stood in the way.... we also used to have crossbows and bows...
Also SGK-5 with a 30 round clip is a very under rated gun, on single fire it has great accuracy at range. Took down 2 fully geared guys far north just east of the big military base with an sgk5 - 15 round clip
To the new dayz players this is a rlly good guide for ps4 and pc ive played ps4 since it came out on console and started pc 3 months ago I agree with this video
04:31 - This is basically where I’m at with dayz, I carry everything around and can’t run when bandits arrive, can’t see the point of base building if it regularly gets wiped

The tip about checking the scaffold next to Electro PD is very relevant. Just started playing on a new server 2 days ago and I found a suppressed glock up there with a mag! And of course I found ammunition in the PD.
Man you got me, I'm that person one that made it to Skalisty Island with a top tier stuff, made a base on it on a full server, from time to time I try to convince people on the shore to come with me haha
A guy ambushed me and tried to handcuff me but handcuffed himself instead. So I stabbed him to death and took all of his gear. Dude was pretty fuckin stacked, too. I still remember him yelling “wait wait! I’ll show you where my stash is!! Hold on dude!!”
I want to love this game, and I'm really, really trying to. However, when you play for 5 hours, gather enough supplies to last another 12 and have an arsenal building up, just to lose all of that due to a stupid door glitch is ridiculous. It happens all the time it isn't just a small problem. I was at a police station when I got surrounded by zombies. So i killed a few by luring them one by one inside and picking them off, but then I didn't close the door in time and 3 got in. I killed 2 before the third knocked me down and was INSIDE the building. As I'm waiting to regain consciousness I'm thinking I'm all good because I have only one threat to deal with, but NOPE as the blackness fades I'm smackbang right outside the door I was just on the other side of and I get my ass whooped by the crowd of dead heads that has gathered outside. Twice that happened to me today. It's a really big issue!!!!!!!
2 days ago i met two fresh spawns i was about 2 hours into the game had a loaded pistol and a shotgun but i was starving and dehydrated i told them "im dying i need water" and they went and got me water we met up with another guy shortly after leaving the town killed a deer and started a fire we met someone by the name of taco man the person we met leaving the town dced 1 of the original 2 left and taco man promptly died of cholera me and the only surviving member have since looted the military base and are doing very well. R.I.P homies.
He talks about keep moving when shooting but I have both layed down and just kept an overwatch that and gotten into fore fire fights no issues. Players look for snipers in open patches on the hills I typically shoot for bushes trees and the like crawl away after my shot and reposition.
I have a general question. If you bury some decent gear. Then get killed. Will what you have stashed remain or do you lose that too ? I am not playing this yet. Just trying to get my head around it first.
Unloading guns and tacking mags out is great tip if your feeling really para chuck the gun in the sea or on roof but thats risky as you expose yourself
One of my best friends who I've now met IRL I met by getting kidnapped together in arma 2 mod. Meeting players really is one of the best parts of the game.
When I first played DayZ as a n00b, I used duct tape on a fresh spawn. But instead, tied my own hands. Lucky for me, the fresh spawn was new to the game. And I was able to distract him while I escaped.
I play on empty servers because I hate having to worry about whether there’s players nearby or if they’re friendly. It’s nicer knowing that the only thing on the server is me and zombies. No competition for loot.
As far as trusting someone... people suck but not all of us. I play the game for the interactions not for a "win". I once helped a guy reconnect with his party by giving him medicine and teaching him to build fires and so on. The game was being glitchy and not allowing him to see items I dropped so I literally fed him beans in a barn around a fire that I taught him to make in a rainstorm. We made it to his friends and all said hi then bye and went on with our lives. Curious to know if he thinks of that interaction as often as I do or even at all
You can trust people all you want, they will still screw you over. The same clan I’ve been playing with for 2 months decided to screw me over and backstab me. I logged on and they shot me. When I asked “Why”, they said that I was stealing. My own best friend helped shoot me Update: I got my revenge🙂
Same the your stealing when there living in the same base all using the same gear never made any sense to me when confronted on return had ‘that’s dayz’ little did he know I had a clear shot at his head through a gap 😂

Three, Two, One, FIGHT! I went for the axe while my opponent just started punching at me. My buddy and I put our faith in a random dude that messaged me while we were at the airfield. He gave us two Ak-47’s, 3 Mags each, and some tetra to treat our sickness. Now we’re all in a group and play together.
Never betray people willing to help out

Hello i needed these I'm detective dumbass
You are the best
Cheers 🍻 thank you for sharing! All the climbing tips were grand this time❣️
For the don't shoot zombies tip, it reminds me of the saying we have in the infantry: "silence, violence, silence". You want to stay stealthy but after that first shot is fired, your in firefight mode were how loud your being typically doesn't matter bc the enemy already knows where your at.
At this point just shoot em since the idiots drcided to raise zombie strength for no fuckin reason
@@antichrist5583 when was this?
@@taytheprodigy4388 i believe it came as a change when they released the 1.12, Nowadays i always carry an MK.II with me to instakill zombies with headshot silently from far away before going to the area
@@Ztrategist the only reason a geared player should carry a pistol with silencer is for dealing with zombies stealthily when you can't melee them or trap them fast in a building or when you don't want to be running around with zombies behind you. In a pickle it might be a lifesaver vs players but most of the time you can just reload or a full mag is enough to deal with most groups.
You can also make a suppressor with a water bottle and duct tape , which is quiet enough .
Beware of players with motorbike helmet: 98% will shoot on sight without any kind of interaction
Yes ,this is what I go on .
Yeah I’ve given up initiating any kind of convo with the bikers
I’ve encountered one before, I asked if he could take his helmet off so I could hear him better but he ignored me. Seemed pretty chill but I backed off
Im just new and use for head protection
I'll sometimes wear them when I'm a freshie but ill usually have the helmet on my hot bar so it just goes to my hand when I wanna talk to someone.
It blew my mind when you said you could traverse the roofs, dayz turned from Hardcore Survival to Hardcore Parkour

Another tip that can be used for bait or to drag zombies out of your area.
If you throw any item in any direction nearby zombies they will follow the sound of that item when it hits the ground.
This can be useful to clear your path, make another player focus on a running zombie when in reality you are flanking them and more
Good tip
I had swim raiders do this
The way to counter is logging in and out 😂😂
Everytime a player enters the spawn area, the zombies respawn. Even if the previous wernt killed 😂😂
We lost, but i had them dancing around zombies for 2-3 hours. Cuz anytime we would step out of cover they would line up a wall bang with the swimmers view
I spend 90% of the time running around for 20 minutes after spawning trying to find food only to die of hunger

dont forget to check every last outhouse, regardless of what its next to. they will spawn every type of loot from what ive experienced. atleast on official servers. only thing ive yet to find are bags and medical supplies. so if youre hurting for some odds n ends, check the poop shacks. always worth a look.

Sharpening stones, boxed nails, and spark plugs i never check houses basically, but i always check outhouses, sheds, greenhouses and garages

What a story!
A fucking horror story
Damn a day in the life of dayz
@@codyxisbell Exactly. Bro scared the hell out of me!
@@kaimoore5833 It was quite the story to live!
My first random player trust experience
Was on community, i found a kid looting around my base in Krassnotav. I hid in the treeline and walked out to him, asked if he wanted to loot together and hit Tisy town. Got in party chat, I got a car and we had 3 hours of looting up
He "pulled a prank" after we were packing up the tent.
He tried saying a bear got him when i left to get the car from where we hid it, and i called him out cuz a body would be there, and he shot me from the treeline wile i was in the car. "Haha, where are you dude" Me: dead silent "Dude where are you" I was in the fucking car!!! "Oh my bad"
You could hear his brother over the mic "The fuck is wrong with you? I half expected him to randomly kill you! And he ended ip being a cool guy!! The fuck is your problem"
And he tried apologizing, but i was just numb
the hardest challenge for me in day z is finding players xD
Take your shirt off Gibby!!
Play on a high population server and hang around cities on the coast. You'll see lots of players
5:50 met some random guy there was a huge fight at airfeild and I was really geared but fresh spawns where flocking over there I was hiding in a house when I heard the door open I got ready to shootthen i saw it was a fresh spawn I was being friendly and gave him my spare gun we went and killed 3 people together then he aimed the gun at me I moved and he saved my from a sneaky player then I knew I could trust him but as we where going up a hill I got shot told him to run and got knocked out then when I woke up there he was the shooter looting my friends dead body I killed him no questions asked left all his stuff buried my friend with my shovel and left remembering him
Always ask usernames
Friendly players need to unify to repel toxic groups
I end up looking half geared 😂
With assult rifles and what not, but i never KOS
So unless your paranoid to the point where you shouldnt be playing, dont KOS without cause
If i hear snaps, every non allied in the area is hostile till they leave.
Well, he said that "don't trust anyone" is a boring way to play so he agreed with you.
Could always do a Veteran plays video Rav for more advanced players or intermediates.
If you're a advanced player you need no guide bruh
Here because John and George from Fresh Spawns mentioned you. Love the videos. Keep it up.
This guy literally doing parkour, love it. Thanks for those tips.
It scared me so much it made my heart pounding and I was inside aiming my gun at the door waiting for him and then I just logged off xD
After that I was running along another road through a field towards some woods and I saw another dude running up the road.
I learned the “Trust no players” thing from Sea Of Thieves:)
I’m brand new to the game and every single player I’ve come across, with exception to 1, has been very kind to me and actually given me stuff. The don’t trust people rule only really comes into effect when you’re geared up in my experience. Or it could be because they knew I was a noob, whatever it was it’s worked for me
You probably meet a group of friendly factions or a nice server
Iv been chased by fresh spawns and geared players, wile iv had nothing and or geared up double backpack.
But iv meet the coolest people ever occasionally the same way, my buddy DemonX held me at gun point wile i was walking a M3S tire. He didnt kill me, i couldnt talk. He knew where the truck spawn was i was going to, and we meet up and i hot my mic settings fixed. We are best buds and run together all the time now
We still look for friendly players, but i have a list of people that are Dead to me 😂 ill never KOS, but when i find their bases i blow up all the cars 😂👍🏻 They steal them from me, ill rebuild it on my time thanks
I really wish the hero & bandits ranks were still a thing, I really loved that aspect of the mod
happy 50k rav i’ve been watching you for a while and i know this is only the start of the huge beginning and we all love every bit of your content;)
Thank you man. Really appreciate that
You need to treat each situation differently when it comes to trust in the game just like in life, does the person have a massive ammount of stuff and an armband? Then you should probably avoid them as they will most often only care about their teammates. I find the friendliest people are the ones with little. I'll usually try to help out new players whenever I can even if I'm geared so just take a second before you make a decision, sometimes it's worth the risk. One extra tip is the game was created to be played in third person. Use it to your advantage and only use first person when you might be fighting or moving through bushes or trees.
The third person thing is super real. It's the only way.
Your videos have definitely upped my game. Thanks, bro.
You're welcome, bro.
Use a controller
I was starving on a beach so i was fishing and built a fire on it as well (it was also pitch black so i stood out like a sore thumb). This fully geared player came up, helped me, gave me a weapon and some ammo and then we got ambushed by a guy with a sledgehammer who knocked him out with one hit, i killed the guy with the gun my new friend gave me and then revived him. We paired up for an hour then both stepped on a land mine
lol cool story
Congrats on 50k! Love ur content and still go to the top of my “to watch list” when u post, bypassing all others
Thank you for the support man! Appreciate it
“Don’t trust anyone” that makes the game no fun.
Whatever handgun u wanna use, I use the FX45 (itd be cool if u keep switching out and trying different ones and get kills with each)
A baseball bat
And a damaged SKS with limited ammo
I know the damaged sks with limited ammo sounds like a dick move but the old DayZ was hard and we had to make do soaking wet in the woods with a broken leg fighting each other with broken guns with the 3 bullets we could find after 6 hours of playing while whoever survived prob starved or was eaten by wolves within 10 minutes and I miss those days. Lately I find myself only playing on hardcore or vanilla servers and simply killing myself once I get fully geared just so I can go back and struggle again. Maybe I hate myself or maybe it's just that much fun but that feeling u get after u barely managed to kill a bandit more equipped than you is addictive.
Lmao cheers for the pd scaffolding loot tip. Loving the the vids

The tip about checking the scaffold next to Electro PD is very relevant. Just started playing on a new server 2 days ago and I found a suppressed glock up there with a mag! And of course I found ammunition in the PD.

Congratulations on 50k big fan

Most situations may be doable with just an M4, AK, or SVD, but good luck finding one on official!

He talks about keep moving when shooting but I have both layed down and just kept an overwatch that and gotten into fore fire fights no issues. Players look for snipers in open patches on the hills I typically shoot for bushes trees and the like crawl away after my shot and reposition.
You opened my eyes to the movement though I'll likely not apply it myself but that's info I'll remember

Great vid!

Curious to know if he thinks of that interaction as often as I do or even at all
Great guide! Dayz has one of the best community’s in gamers

You can trust people all you want, they will still screw you over. The same clan I’ve been playing with for 2 months decided to screw me over and backstab me. I logged on and they shot me. When I asked “Why”, they said that I was stealing. My own best friend helped shoot me
Update: I got my revenge🙂
Same the your stealing when there living in the same base all using the same gear never made any sense to me when confronted on return had ‘that’s dayz’ little did he know I had a clear shot at his head through a gap 😂
I sometimes shoot zombies to clear the area and to feel a thread when im geared..... it will also atrackt Players which is what i want
Fantastic video yet again 👏👌
Thank you man appreciate it
