OMG Gemma the only word for that gingerbread house is GENIUS. it looks amazing ,the pretzels give it a salty complement to the Gingerbread house and they make it really makes it look like a log cabin and those homemade decorations a brilliant for if you have leftover icing well done 😃

I adore giant pretzel sticks. You give me ideas! "Pirouette" rolled/cigar cookies would make a lighter-textured exterior. Some tiny colored balls could be mixed into the royal icing and then applied between the 'logs' as caulking. Line the openings with miniature M&Ms for strands of lights. Crush the leftover pieces and sprinkle in tiny candy balls to make a pathway to the front door.
Wow, Gemma, this house looks amazing! You are so creative and talented :-) This brings back so many memories from my childhood. My mum often made gingerbread houses with my brother and me. We liked to decorate it with gummy bears, m&m's and other candy :-) My mum had to be so patient though because the pieces were difficult to put together and we were jumping screaming through the room out of excitement :-D
