This one is just wow. Absolutely a unique find and flawless looking on camera. You’re right, this is definitely a dream guitar for people who do the cowboy chord and jazz chord thing. It sound beautiful and looks like a Brazilian dream!
That's a new one to me - gorgeous guitar, possibly more of a conversation piece than a must-have. But, quite a conversation piece at that. Love the channel - ROCK ON BENNY!
Ive never even heard of a Crest before. Id pass on the nicest flame tops and all that, the most beautiful guitars to me have always been the natural wood(walnut, rosewood, etc) ES/semi-hollow. This is just unbelievable. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Benny is wearing sleeves. That’s new. Lol Listening to how it was breaking up with the amp, it kinda reminds me of Keith Richards on “Can’t You Hear Me Knockin”. You should try that one Benny 😊
I def will! It's funny because a lot of people noticed that. When I was shooting demos I was over changing and just came to the shoot wearing that and banged a ton out. I bet I'm never gonna hear the end of it lol 🤪
Very cool, a truly beautiful example, thank you for sharing (I've not even seen the video yet and I know I'll love it). You should check out Trogly's all Brazilian Rosewood Gibson Crest, it is a one of one built for the 1983 NAMM Show. He has nicknamed that guitar "The Hippo", (because Austin possesses the characteristic of "Pareidolia") as sees the facial image of a Hippopotamus within the Brazilian Rosewood's grain figuring! Yeah, Austin is one of a kind for sure, he's awesome. Thank You for the great content Benny
Such a beautiful guitar, thank you for sharing this with us. ❤ These guitars were double the price of a ES-335 at the time. There's two versions of the 1969-1972 crest either Gold or Silver hardware.
@kennethwatson4489 I really appreciate that, you can probably guess that this takes a lot of time to do properly. So reading this kinda stuff keeps me motivated. I appreciate your support
Definitely a jazz guitar. It was never meant for metal and shredding. Jazz doesn't use much above 12th fret, nor for heavy picking. For me, as I love jazz, I would show it much love.
I absolutely love it. Definitely not a metal guitar for sure, but very enjoyable period! Certainly a weird one from the past that will blow people's minds every time! Please subscribe and join the madness and thank you for watching 👀
Man.. that sure looks beautiful!!! Never even held a full braz guitar before - really wonder how that feels. But the wonky intonation and how it goes out of tune is gonna be a real challenge
B+ for filming consistency , who's idea hanging the hard case and guitar on the wall all together , thats for A+ . god dammit im so used to see you wear tank top.
You like the humidors for the guitars??? Badass right? My buddy Scott! Are you talking about the demo section where I'm wearing a normal pink shirt hahahaha
@@TheNeuroticGuitarist yup, thats very cool, such great idea to displaying the guitar , tank top and jean with big holes is your signature ,every time talking about guitar with my guitar friends ,we always called you tank top guy ,not your name or channel name.😂😂
@bukwok haha the irony is that after this shoot I went to a super nice steak joint and at the door there was a sign that said "gentleman wear sleeves," and I felt attacked. The further irony is that I never wore tank tops in my life and just started doing that for the show. Then I cut every single shirt I own because I decided I was gonna be that guy. But up until about 2 years ago I never wore tanks
Nope, those are my eyes! I'm catching real sunlight in this video vs shooting in a basement recording studio! Subscribe and join the madness and thank u for watching 👀
@TheNeuroticGuitarist haha. You literally made mention of the fact it wouldn't stay in tune during the video my guy...it only took 3 Gibsons for me to learn my lesson...
Totally off topic....Did someone step up to the plate for Jason? I have been praying someone with expendable income to buy Ed's guitar ....... great channel, and I love the content. Thanks

It's a super rare and weird one. This one is one of 56, so good luck finding another one! Def a sleeper
B E A UTIFIL............... AWESOME GUITAR.... definitely for a Jazzer bro
I'd agree, the Johnny Smith pickups are super low output, def excels more in the clean department
love those display cases on the wall in the back, idk where you are but place looks awesome
Behind the entire fixture! Thanks for watching Alex, I appreciate it brother 🙏
It's been a while since i watch your channel, it's really starting to take off congrats, and that guitar is really beautiful.
Thanks so much, been putting in the hard work and trying to make some good videos for everybody. Hope you dig and thanks for taking the time 🙌

I don't watch other guitar videos to be completely honest with you.
@@TheNeuroticGuitarist totally understood
Not sure how you would have time to watch RUclips! 👍

I say that right in the video brother. Thank you so much for watching. Please subscribe and join the madness if you haven't already 🤘😜🤘
Did you guys custom build the guitar case wall cases? nifty those.
Nope, you can order them but you'll pay a pretty penny! Thanks for watching Doug 👀
Nice dude...
I appreciate it Craig! What did you think of the demo? Would u rock that thing?
@@TheNeuroticGuitarist I absolutely would rock that thing. I'd use it to drop a Jazz album with the Mrs. Put some flatwounds on it.
When are you going to sell it to me?
I would adore this guitar. Revere it. Love it. Desire it.
It's pretty awesome, I'm with ya on that kenneth! Thanks for watching
@TheNeuroticGuitarist I try to keep up with all your vids my friend. Really like what and how you do things.

Here's another extremely expensive gibson that won't stay in tune...smh
I have over 50 gibsons and literally have no problem with tuning, not sure what you're talking about James
@TheNeuroticGuitarist haha. You literally made mention of the fact it wouldn't stay in tune during the video my guy...it only took 3 Gibsons for me to learn my lesson...
@younkinjames8571 in this particular instance, 100% this is like no other guitar I have from Gibson. But fair enough, that'd annoy me too

No one yet but I am talking to a few friends about it. Stay tuned, it'll def happen! Appreciate your support James 🙏 #alsawareness4jason
