- Action Full Day! Is Papua New Guinea Dangerous for Tourists?
Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm thrilled to share with you my action-packed full day exploring the diverse and captivating land of Papua New Guinea. This journey is one for the books, as I uncover the truths behind the question many of you have asked: "Is Papua New Guinea dangerous for tourists?"
My adventure began in the vibrant city of Vanimo to Aitape, Papua New Guinea. Port Moresby life is a mix of rich cultural heritage and modern hustle. Walking through its streets, you experience the lively atmosphere of local markets and the warmth of the people. Yet, it’s crucial to remain cautious and aware of your surroundings due to the city's reputation for crime.
From Vanimo to Aitape, I embarked on a journey into the heart of Papua New Guinea, delving into the world of Papua New Guinea tribes. I visited the Korowai tribe, known for their treehouse dwellings and fascinating way of life. Their deep connection to the forest and their traditional practices offer a rare glimpse into a lifestyle that has remained unchanged for centuries.
Another highlight was meeting the Dani tribe. These encounters were both enlightening and humbling, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry of Papua New Guinea. The Dani tribe, with their unique body art and traditional ceremonies, provided an unforgettable experience that highlighted the beauty of primitive tribes.
As I ventured deeper into the country, I encountered the realities of the Papua New Guinea tribal war. These conflicts, which often stem from historical grievances and land disputes, add a layer of complexity to the country's social landscape. Witnessing these tribal wars firsthand was both sobering and enlightening, revealing the resilience of the Papua tribes.
One of the most intense parts of my journey was exploring West Papua. This region is known for its rugged beauty and also its contentious political status as part of Indonesia. Here, I delved into the traditions of local tribes and their daily struggles. Traveling in Papua Indonesia brought to light the stark contrasts between urban and tribal life.
Adding a thrilling twist to my travels, I took on the challenge of hiking PNG’s rugged terrain. The breathtaking landscapes, from dense jungles to towering mountains, offered some of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my trip. For those interested in outdoor adventures, hiking and backpacking PNG are activities that shouldn't be missed.
Throughout my travels, I aimed to capture the essence of this extraordinary country in a detailed Papua New Guinea documentary style.
This journey through Papua New Guinea, from the dynamic life in Port Moresby to the remote tribal villages, has been a profound experience. I hope this video answers your questions about traveling in this unique country and sheds light on its incredible diversity and beauty.

Papua 🇵🇬 is a colony of Australia, got its independence in 1975, Papua kina, $1=K3, K200= $68/Night.
Most Papua New Guineans 🇵🇬 live and work in Australia. Turkish lira money $1= 21.72 Lira.
In your country, you can't make enough money to travel and we understand that now. I would rather suggest you visit Africa or Asian countries to do your content. It's more cheaper and and easily accessible for you.
My honest view
@@percykereme5175don't waste your time explaining, this guy is ignorant
You should come to png prepared as a tourist. K150 is not in dollars but its affordable even the hotel bills... what you painted for png is not true...png people are very friendly..you have to rephrase the heading of your script....
He's a backpacker. They don't travel with money. They travel and then look for opportunities to work to make money to help them with their travels.
A tourist and an opportunist in my country. No primitive tribes here. Watch your language.@@stephaniejoseph6330

papua new guinea is a great country, enjoy your trip bro..
Dude is a very brave person
Greatest vanimo town❤
Correction here, K150 PGK is equal to $38 USD. If you are a bag packer, you apply for job in advance before travelling. Check online for job offer. The place is safe, if you prefer not paying for hotel, ask the tour guide to spend a night with them, they will give you a free accommodation for the night. Papua New Guineans looks can scare you but they have the sweetest and good spirit. Violence reported by media is based on payback fights and poverty issues in cities just like anywhere in the world. Trust my advice. Im married to a European wife for 5 years now, and I say Papua New Guinea is safe unless you provoke violence or risk yourself into no-go zone areas.
Come to New Ireland Province in Papua New Guinea Kavieng city
🙏🙏🙏
Bro enjoying your trip
Great people.
Our currency is in Kina not Dollar. U can convert that and mentioned that in dollar.
Lido AOG church guesthouse is K50 day 24hrs next to the place you slept bungalow
This is a province in PNG, PNG is the country
In the shipping industry they pay American dollars for a kina. Just for your knowledge
Spent my whole life there. Proud of that place. The thing that gets me is the price of hotels and transport. Aren't you r tourist?
PNG is not dangerous man as you said. When in the later afternoon from 5pm we don't have to do anything so we stay indoor that's why you didn't see anyone roaming around. Why we do fencing in our yard because we have animals looked after and also we need privacy. Don't say it's too dangerous when seen at first. Reason out and investigate before you say anything bad. You as a tourist coming in PNG Reason out your speech before you speak out to media like this. Coming to Highlands and your 100% fine.
He didn't say its dangerous.
He is asking for opinions if you think its dangerous
It was a question
I hope the woman really helped you alot😂
😂😂😂
K150 is affordable than $150 dollars if you convert it its not expensive its cheap our currency is kina not dollars
Hi Solo Buffalo,

Hahahh they are good people, i love them 😀
People are friendly and are kind to you obviously.
Stop your negative assumptions.
The ignorance is astounding.
Guys don't subscribe
He's making money buy converting subscription to money.
A poor broke tourist 😅😅
We don't use dollar we use Kina in Papua New Guinea. When we convert Dollar currency to PNG Kina, the dollar currency will be high
If it's not safe......why you say people here are friendly?Mate better not come back to png.
You have to have money and come to PNG
PNG is not dangerous country to visit, and also the hotel and guest house are cheaper
Bro You are A Bag packer so correct your currency it is K150 and not $150
A primitive human being from Turkey do not how the currency between a Aus/US Dollar and with Papua New Guinea Kina
On your video you make good comment for PNG but in your video introduction you said dangerous for tourist. PNG is a good country
Be realistic, our crime rate is appalling, but Yes, we are naturally kind hearted. That makes us Good people as you say.
