Everyone has their own EDC kit, in my case I carry a Chunky Covert Companion, and more tension tools than anyone could ever imagine! Picks are important, but I’ve found that the Correct tension tools make all the difference for Me. Rock on Brother!
No disrespect intended, I'm new to your channel, but why do you or anyone else need to carry so many picks when about 6 picks will open most locks? Many locksmiths say the same thing. Maybe you just like having them. They are pretty.
Many locksmiths have a worse pick addiction than I do. 🤣 Which 6? By which pick maker? Which thickness? Even that plan has you buying a lot to try and you're gonna break stuff. Need back ups. 😁💚🔒
@@SeeStuDo I don't get caught up in the "I-got-to-have-it-too" that many guys seem to suffer from. I think you hit the nail on the head....it's an addiction. I like making my own tools. It's so easy and feeds my creative appetite nicely. Remember, pretty tools don't make you a better picker if you just like looking at them. 0.018" to 0.024" should be enough for most locks. Check out some of the recent stuff I've done on my channel.

@@SouthpawPickingPete-qi8qr Absolutely!! And that's why I've started adding those little turner sets, easy to bring a bunch and not cram into cases.
