Living vicariously through your lens we find ourselves completely relaxed and " complete" ( if you will ) Thank you so Shel and Cindy for taking the time and effort to share these wonderful experiences ❤
Cindy and Sheldon. Thank you both for keepin me "linked in". I really appreciate all your videos, especially of the spots I've visited in the past, and the many spots I never got to, 20 years ago.
Another great video drop by Cindy and Shel. I just wish you would produce more content! You truly have talent and I love watching your videos. Well done and look forward to the next one!
once again, blue water drone shots..your nailing it ! well done. especially like the fly over of the boat near the sandbar and boatmate laying in the water @ 8:06
Watching your video and listening to Jimmy Buffett this morning. If I close my eyes I can smell the salt water. So beautiful there. Hopefully one day I can cruise there in person. Donate for a Dream
Cindy and Sheldon, thank you for sharing these videos. As your Accountant from Canada, I may need to look to you for advice!! LOL This is the life that I would love to get into. Still difficult while I have lil ones at home for my second time around but maybe one day!!! Keep safe and Enjoy!!!
Hi Charles! So nice to see you here. It is a great life for sure, though not without its difficulties. We may need you to work some magic on our accounts to get a bigger boat. LOL! Would love to see you out here on the water. Cheers, and enjoy the little ones.
We did not exactly get to Pipe Cay where you were, but stayed over at Thomas Cay about a mile away for a day and found the same swing and took many pictures at sunset. . Yes, currents were strong, but holding was really good. Amazing how many young Conchs were there, but only on the north/east side of the swing. One of our best days. The next day we headed down to Stanyel Cay where we ran into you. Glad this year is working out for you. I just left the boat on the hard up at Indian River Marina wrapped nicely for the Hurricane season. Check out the new watermakers that SeaWater Pro has, they are great improvements over last year's models and very comoact. It is such a relief never having to worry about water. Got that dang hole to drill in the bottom though, the hardest part of the installation.
I agree, SeaPro Watermakers is a great choice. Purchased about two years ago, no issues and easy to install and maintain. Small biz and owner is very hands on.
I sailed through parts of the Bahamas a few years ago with a five foot draft, and truly loved the Beaty m and solitude in many of the anchorages! I have my vessel in BVI, however, it does not compare to the spacious, crystal clear waters of your current location. Great footage!
Loved the episode! What a beautiful location. Are you sure the song you listed is the “whistle song?” I looked it up and it didn’t sound the same. Would love to download it.
Great video - that achroage looks awesome! It feels like you guys spend only 1/2 year outside of Canada. Is that to make sure you keep your medical benefits in Canada? I am also curious to know what remote jobs you have. Fair winds and following seas :)
Thanks. Almost. We spend 5 months in Canada to Maintain our health care. Most of the time we come back to visit family anyway so it's really no big deal. I (Shel) am a Software Consultant, and Cyndi is an Executive Business Administrator.
Another great video from you two. I also own a Tollycraft 44 a 1987 CPMY (Sundeck) Model. The area you are in now is a dream of ours, when we get done exporing the PNW and retirement is here, we will head that way.
Absolutely stunning anchorage. What time of year were you in there? Any chance you have your track to get in that you can share? We hope to get down that way next season. Thanks Very Much for these vidseos.
This was in May. I am very leary of sharing tracks or routes. If someone got in trouble following one of my tracks I wouldn't feel all that good about it. The entrance is easily seen on the Bahamas Explorer charts. Cheers!
In your experiences so far in the Bahamas, is a 5.5ft draft going to be a problem? We want to be able to get in to the anchorages and explore with the tender.
Lots of boat here with 5+ draft with no issues. Those with 7 or more will anchor further out, but you will have no issue getting in to some nice places with 5.5.
We do not have stabilizers. There are times crossing the Gulf Stream where we wish we had them, but over in the Bahamas we haven't really needed them. There are a lot of boats in the Bahamas without stabilizers. I don't think I would venture further south from the Bahamas into the Caribbean without stabilizers though.
Thank you for the reply, appreciated! We take delivery in January and look forward to up / down along the East Coast ICW plus poking into Bahamas! @@SearchingforCShels
I'm preparing my house for sale, looking at a 44' Nauticat AND Trader-style, and wunnerin' what, besides a Passport, is required for 'documentation'? Do you have to 'check in' with any local Authority?
I think it's around 2 amps. We have it plugged in with the inverter running. To be honest I don't notice it at all. We had another router running before Starlink and I find it no different than that.
Another fantastically prepared video. Excellent info on Pipe Cay & Pipe Cay Tip.😊
Thanks Guys!

I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your adventures. All the best from Newfoundland! Canada.
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful video guys, we love the Exumas and can't wait till we can get back some day. Looked like a little glimpse of Fruition in the anchorage?
Thank you. No that wasn’t Fruition. Fruition was already back in FL by this time. I can’t remember the name of that Horizon, but we did meet them.
I had the luck of building all the buildings on little pipe spent 3 years there ,great memories “frosty”
Oh wow! That's very cool. What an experience. Can you build us an Island like that!? :-D
Great drone footage! You really have mastered your flying! Cheers!
Thanks 👍

Absolutely perfect. Boated for a few years up in Georgian Bay and it was nice but your locations make me want back on the water in your locations !
Thanks. Of course we are going to get back on the water ASAP!
It’s been a long month since you last posted . I all is well and your summer ended safely !
Latest video is now posted!
Loved the episode! What a beautiful location. Are you sure the song you listed is the “whistle song?” I looked it up and it didn’t sound the same. Would love to download it.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Are you referring to this song? www.musicbed.com/songs/the-good-life-instrumental/33073
Yes! Thank you!
Def making it easier and easier to cut the cord and sail away!! great video, glad y'all are doing well!!!
Thanks 👍
In your opinion, what would be your personal maximum keel depth when searching for a boat? Does 5' allow me to go where you go?
5' will get you most places we go, including the anchorages in this video.
Great video - that achroage looks awesome!

Do you have to 'check in' with any local Authority?
Eagerly waiting for the next vid to pop up....Are y'all going to be at FLIBS this month?
Wait no longer! The latest episode is up.
Didn't get to FLIBS unfortunately. I hear it was a good show.
Totally a special place. See you next time.✨ 🌊 💨 🛥️🏝️ 👙 🌞✨
are you worried about Ciguatara when taking fish off a reef?
Yes. However we try to stick with smaller fish. More chance of Cig in the larger ones.
SUPERBLY SUPERB!!!!
Curious to know…how many amps does your Starlink draw?
I think it's around 2 amps. We have it plugged in with the inverter running. To be honest I don't notice it at all. We had another router running before Starlink and I find it no different than that.
What do you work at - that would be a very interesting video !
We actually go into that in one of our Cost of Ownership videos, ruclips.net/video/epLXZNlF5oc/видео.htmlsi=sYDvi0V3-e55NtKi
What kind of boat was (time out) ?
IT is a Jefferson Pilothouse
