"She Laid it on the counter showing",party time.. love the shit iut of this song... What i dont get is how you can sing the words so close without breathing..you gotta have super lungs then on top of that you got the music right on top of you.. trying to run your ass over... Fucking great..rock n roll
Nothing wrong with a raspy voice. They're usually well-earned by singing--a LOT. Look at AC/DC with Brian Johnson. He can scream, growl and sing. Twist And Shout with John Lennon's vocal cords ripped to shreds? Perfection. Clean is nice. Raspy is nasty.
If it's natural, that's different. It's when you force it to do it that brings about the problem. I'm a former choir boy with 17 years musical training, and while I can't sing like Freddie mercury, I can do Mike Ness, Joe strummer and Bon Scott pretty well. Why? Because it's natural for my body...
Anthony D When i put i up it was my frist on RUclips and I did it cause I couldn't find it in here. I'm not very good with this bitrate things or what gives the quality:-) The song itself is the most importent for me, so feel free to link to better quality versions, that would be very nice:-)
Dave Edmunds' version doesn't have John playing harp, nor a singer like John, thus this version is WAY better!!! Amazing Harp solo, and great singing here!
That’s the way to cover this song!!!
Such a great band and such a great song! Thank you Uncle Chuck and Blues Traveler. 🍎💋❤️🥃🍺🎼🌿

Um.... Bob Seger did it best.
That's because you've never heard the original version by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

+Wayne Cameron True. Cleaner and you can actually understand all the words.
Dude sounds like he's gonna rip a lip on that harp.

Cannot even TOUCH Eddie & The Hot Rods version! Heck, even it blows Bob Seger away! Y'all need to get this sleepytime crap outta here...
Check out eddie and the hot rods live. They play this at twice the speed

The band with the plan! Big noises! It is what it is!
+Bud Wiser Boat drinks.
Great movie - great soundtrack !
Pretty good cover of a old Bob Seger song.
Sounds a bit like "Canary In A Coalmine" by The Police, and Garth Brooks "Ain't Going Down 'Til The Sun Comes Up".
Howard Scheffer you mean THEY sound like IT. This was released in 1974.
john is the man.
BOAT DRINKS people... greets from Europe
Give it a name!
this video has cassette tape quality compared to the other videos of this song

@@Gerdundul So eloquently put ! I say thanks for sharing the music.
Damn
One of those movies you need a shower after,
Boat Drinks!!! to ya!
More bands should have a kickass harp player like Popper.
Guy must have a split tongue to blow like that.
motorhead should do this track
Love the original but this version kicks fuckin ass!!!!! HARP MAKES IT!!!
Great cover especially with that mouth harp solo and the film was good too. However I still think Dave Edmunds has the better version
Agree.
Uhhhhh, it’s a harmonica.
not bad
Dave Edmunds' version doesn't have John playing harp, nor a singer like John, thus this version is WAY better!!! Amazing Harp solo, and great singing here!
This singer has trouble getting the words out. Not Dave. It's gotta flow.
Seger's verison on Live Bullet can kick this one anytime
