A Year Like No Other - The British Red Cross at 150

In our 150th year a global pandemic shook the world and we stepped up to support some of the most vulnerable people in the UK and overseas.
We set up new services to meet the needs of people: a Coronavirus Support Line for those feeling lonely, a Hardship Fund for those struggling financially, delivered food and medicine to people’s doorsteps, getting people to and from hospital and mobilising support for the vaccination programme.
For the first time ever, the British Red Cross has documented the stories of people from across the UK over a year, following the impact of the pandemic, featuring staff, volunteers on the ground and the people we have helped through this crisis.
