The boys in Roma’s badge goes back to the origins of Rome founded by Romulus & Remus
7:02 the story of how the city of Rome was founded says that 2 brothers, Romulus and Remus, were abandoned by their mother as babies, and then found and raised in the forests by a she-wolf. They then went on to establish the city of Rome. Therefore you have that illustration on the badge.
Bronco gotta see this
Was about to write this when I saw this comment. Good on you with the stories
That's hard lowkey
Bronco, your Texas A&M education is letting you down if you don't know the legend of Romulus and Remus my guy. The new AS Roma badge is so good I almost picked them as my European club based on the badge alone.
Wait was the wolf called Lupa?
“Homophobic” 🤣🤣🤣 always effortlessly funny Bronco. Keep it up!
"homo genius" even better 🤣🤣🤣
I am new here, Son funny😊
The whole beginning was forgotten to edit out but my God u made me laugh🤣🤣
him saying homogenous wrong sent me
Love this idea- you should do a part 2 where you add 15-20 more clubs and compare. I’m studying for Graphic Design so maybe I’m a bit biased lol but I love the comparison vids & kit vids
A lot of clubs’ current badges are actually modernised versions of a previous badge, including Chelsea, Man City and Aston Villa
My bro I didn't expect that made me laugh hard at 1:15 - 1:25 💀💀
I was like, did bro forget to cut that part out 😂
@@D2trippy610 NAAH fr 😭
For city that eagle badge isn’t the ‘old’ one, city only had it for like 20 years. Before that it looked more like the current one
But that's also true of some others. The new Villa badge is also like the one they had in the 1980s and even earlier. More descriptive would have been previous badge vs current/new badge. But for simplicity, old vs new is good enough. Chelsea's current badge also looks like the one they had back in the 1950s or so. So, this has happened to a lot of clubs, with their new badges going back to a classic design. Aston Villa being the most recent.
@@temporaryuseraccount0012 oh yeah City is the only one I was 100% sure about so I mentioned it
Scared for Bayern for a sec 💀💀
Bronco at 7:00 As Roma logo represent the story of two brothers. The founder of the Roman Empire. They got raised by a wolf
Great video and Incredible editing keep it up Bronco
Love this vid idea, should defo do more imo
What I can say is badges needs time for people to get used to it, if it's brand new change people will tend hate it because many people don't like too much change when it's not super necessary
I know some of the old logos are traditional and mean a lot to people but after 100 years of graphic design I’m glad a lot of clubs have looked to redesign with ones that are easier on the eyes
The current man city badge is very similar (almost identical to the current one) that city used from 1971 to 1996. In 1997 the new owners of manchester city realised they hadnt purchased the copyright for the badge and had 24 hours (because of kit production to design a new badge). when the current owners took over they sorted out the copyright issues and we went back to the old badge.
The problem is familiarity. Most people will always vote for the current badge regardless of if it's actually a better design or not because it's familiar to them. The exception is the ones that have been changed recently, such as Juventus, Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Man City etc where the older badge is more familiar to a lot of people because it is what they grew up with. In reality, I think uniqueness has to also factor in to the badge design. That new Villa one looked far too similar to a maroon and sky blue Chelsea badge for me to count it as a good badge. The old fashioned crests all look far too similar to each other, especially if they contain a lot of gold or silver and are red or blue badges. Man City's old badge is too similar to Coventry City imo. Stevenage and Tranmere are too similar. If you asked an American non-football fan to judge the badges, you'd probably get a much more accurate and representative opinion because they wouldn't be judging them off familiarity or nostalgia or similarity etc.
Porto’s stadium is named Estadio do Dragao after the dragon on the coat of arms of the city, so they’ve gotta have one on their badge. New one does that so it’s definitely better
First time here, it’s either I am too high or u funny fr… “ Mikey mouse horses”😂😂
Keep up the good work Bronco. You are going to be the face of football in US. I can see it!
Some other badges to do if you do a part two: Arsenal (some real staunch defenders of the 90s one, with the fancier letters, the Latin motto and the cannon going the other way, almost certain Bronco'll prefer the new one though)., Newcastle (dunno if I seriously prefer the 80s one of if it is just the novelty of it that I like) and Sheffield Wednesday (one of them will seem kinda familiar I think).
anyone can make a quiz or add badges themselves on uwufufu
Accepting the risk of stating the obvious, the minimalist badges are cheaper to produce on merchandise and profitability likely heavily influenced the choice over pure aesthetic considerations.
You need to know how Rome was founded to understand the Roma logo
I’m shocked there is a single person in the western world that does not know of Romulus & Remas and the she wolf!!!
Just get my boy to 100k already 😭😭😭
Funny you said Fiorentina one gave you Nintendo vibes, considering Nintendo was a sponsor for the club in the 90's.
The old Ajax logo is the favorite of the fans. Fun fact about the new logo, it has 11 stripes on the drawing that represents the players on the pitch.
Juventus and inter straight up destroyed iconic logo loved by the majority
Only AC Milan remain
They chose the worse of the worst of the old ones-especially Fiorentina as an Arsenal fan why that one and not the one right before the new one?
City previos logo was the logo they won their first Premership by AGUEROOOOOO.
The old badge for City is more iconic for meh, but the new 2016 badge is also just clean af.
The first minute is crazy, bro is waffling
Banger 🔥
Bronco look at Tottenham’s 17/18 kits to see the badge in a shield looks good
Fun video my guy
Juventus' old badge actually contains a bull, not a horse. It's a reference to Torino (Turin) where they are based, reminiscent of Torino FC's own logo which has the same bull on it, and also a reference to "il Toro" which means "the Bull" in Italian.
A lot of the old English badges are based on heraldry, so its more a historic thing than an artistic one
You trpin só hard on Lyon logos bro
"The saints sign" is called French lily or "fleur de lys".
"thats a piece of shit right there" 😭😭
ACF in Fiorentina's old badge stands for Associazione Calcio Fiorentina, which is basically "Fiorentina Football Club" in Italian.
We out here 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The kids in AS Roma's logo are Romulus and Remus. In Roman mythology, Romulus and Remus are twin brothers whose story tells of the events that led to the founding of the city of Rome and the Roman Kingdom by Romulus.
The old PSG's badge reminds me of Rosemary's Baby poster film
Villa looking promising in the next decade and that new logo is gonna be menacing
5:59 i hope your teacher does watch these lol
Bro can you rank the Gold Cup jerseys? Some are too hard and some are trash.
Tottenham Cockspurs💀💀💀💀💀
The old lyon one looks 🔥 but the new one looks more like a football clubs badge
City logo is the representation of industrial revolution in Manchester which was based on the things they looted from the colonies like India, Africa and south east asia. So the ship in the logo should represent this
Tottenham Cockspurs sounds perfect to me
Rate the liga MX badges🙏
Reading FC new, in my opinion is way better than what came before. Okay, the "New" came out in 1998 and I've been alive for longer with the new than I was with the old, but, yeah, new 100%
Man city’s new logo is just them going back to their original
Yeah but it's definitely cleaner than the older ones
Ooh that old Lyon badge is sexy
Da Vinci was living centuries ago 😂
0:35 what? 😂
Bro, that damn uwufufu word was tripping me up 😂
@@DaBronco 😂😂
The old Bristol City logo is the flag of bristo
The Aston villa badge is new old and old new😁
0:36 he got that dawg in him
13:30 they probably changed the direction because they didn't wanna copy the Chelsea's logo😂
Need an mls version with all the rebrands that have happened
The shape is the whole thing to Fiorentina, why he saying the new shape better😭😂
Saint symbol is called a fleur de lis
ngl burnleys old one is fire
wassssuppp
I prefer man city old badge more than the new one
You didn't look at Arsenal's old badge versus the new. Old way more stylish to me.
probably atletico madrid will change back to old logo going forward
Atletico Madrid's crest looks like it's made in Microsoft Paint ngl
old lyon logo looking like an american olympic jacket
Maybe thats why they called it olympique lyonnais
He never knew what the hell is going on there!😂😂😂
*Regarding NAPOLI ....the letters on the old badge are the club's full name.... Societa Sportiva is Italian for Sports Club.... Calcio is the Italian word for FOOTBALL .... and NAPOLI is the Italian name for Naples [The city near Mount Vesuvius]....So, Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli is mostly abbreviated to S.S.C. Napoli and most of the time the people call the club : NAPOLI.*
⚽🌐⚽ 🔥😈🔥
Lyon fumbled the bag
FC Bayern old vs new badge 😈
Anyone hear that he called Bristol city another "country" XD
Derby County badge ugly?

I prefer the old man city logo
I liked the old Everton badge better the new one not so much
I wonder if he know why there are roses almost every club logo...of the premier league.??? Red and white? 😂😂
Juventus have a horse on his badge? Hahaha it's a bull, mate
The "cockboys" bruh Im crying
Does he know about Bayern Munich old badge?
Could you do a Champions League Hotel Video for the quarters like the old ones✌🏽?
Aston Villa's new badge (as of next 2023/24 season) is much better than the current/old one. Most of the Aston Villa fans had a part in choosing it also. It looks more like the badge the club had in the 1980s when they won the European Cup. The reason given for the change of direction for the Lion, was to represent the (hopefully) change in fortunes at the club, after many years of under-performing, to once again become one of the top English football clubs.
So u run a football channel & u have never seen Man City 's old logo....hmmm...when u started watching football??? yesterday???
You don't have much nostalgia attached to any of these. It's okay to modernize logos but you should never completely go away from the original design and colors. Many of these "old" ones was not the original designs, example the new 'OL' logo is way closer to it's original design than the "old" showed on here.
I hate coat of arms logos in football logos
Tottenham old badge 🐓
Tottenham new badge 🍗
Man city and chelsea new logo better
Where is Juventus? Haha. I mean, wtf they are thinking when they turned their logo into a J?? 🤦♂️
Homophobic 😂
😂😂😂😂
Was waiting for the Arsenal badge. Hopefully there's a part 2.
uwufufu?
Juventus old one 🔥🔥🔥
New🤮🤮🤮
Bro the new Aston Villa logo just a rip off of Chelsea’s
Nope. Google Aston Villa's badge from 1981/82 when they won the European Cup! ... Same as their new badge. They just going back to their classic design.
@@temporaryuseraccount0012Still a rip off of Chelsea logo from the 50s
@@jacobhuggins7572 A 1950s Chelsea logo, which itself ripped off Aston Villa's signature Lion from Villa's badge way back in the late 1800s.
Also, if you think Villa's 70s/80s badge was a copy of Chelsea, you need some football education. As Villa were a FAR more successful club than Chelsea in that time.
And Villa are STILL higher than Chelsea on the all time top flight English league table, with Villa in 5th place, compared to Chelsea in 8th ... And that's INCLUDING all of the artificially bought and inflated success Chelsea had in the past 20 years, by Roman Abramovich bankrolling that small club.
So yeah, claiming 70s/80s era Aston Villa wanted to copy 50s Chelsea's badge, would be like suggesting the current Manchester City ownership wanting to copy a league 2 club's design! 😆 Remember, Chelsea still trail behind Villa on top flight league point aggregates today (including the Roman sportswashing era), let alone 40-odd years ago, when Chelsea were closer to being a small club like Birmingham City, than like Aston Villa. 🤣🤣🤣
@@temporaryuseraccount0012 Cheers for the irrelevant "football education" lol
@@jacobhuggins7572 Always happy to educate the football ignorami that plague the internet. Here's another footie fact that will absolutely blow you away ... English football was even a thing, long before the Premier League was invented. Can your single brain cell Adam and Eve that? 🤣
Oude Logo! Oude Logo! We want our face back ❌❌❌
HOMO GENIUS!
You gotta react to Arabic commentator with English translation
When the Mancs were crap
