That was because literally one dude was trying to cobble together something due to executive meddling forcing him to have the game out before the holidays. E.T. had _an excuse._
If someone were to make this game or buy it from the devs here's what u should do to improve the base 1. Give us fetch quests and missions 2. Make zombies more of a threat ND slightly less spongey. Coming to alarms and loud noises and 4+ at a time 3. Make factions and groups for people so we can have friendlies in the world 4. Mangling, melee, leveled items and areas. Open building areas and different maps 5. Most of the things they showcased, simply bring it back lol

Taking predatory developers and business practices to task is the only way to curb the problems that games like this force upon the future of game development. Laziness on such a scale needs to be held to consequence.
