Funny, watched your video about your APP with Hornady case feeder first, I'm considering buying one as well, and feeding it with my Hornady case feeder that I have extra since I bought a Dillon case feeder for my L-n-L. Have to test my Double Alpha feeder plate in the Hornady as well.
The case pushers is in my opinion is the most annoying aspect of the case feed system. I will try to 3D print some pushers as I don’t have access to a machine shop. I have 3D printed various upgrades and add ons for the press and other reloading tools. Double alpha bullet feed dies are the best. And the turbo case feed plate with the wedge.
@@coldborecontraptions2063 hey I have another question what Mr.bullet feeder do you order? Cause I reached out to double alpha an they said something about making sure I but in the notes when I order one to let them know it's a Hornady power funnel
This is an absolutely great video for us reloaders and modders! :) I did notice something regarding your spring that you probably already are aware of? If you look at where you explain @ ruclips.net/video/X_blKApcfEo/видео.htmlsi=0b9a9hQtnSkobMiB&t=786 Your spring is NOT in place... you need to put your fingertip on the slot before the slot occupied by that piece of brass - and lightly put your finger on the spring and index it past the incoming slot. The spring will then pop in underneath the plate in to the inner spring-rill or whatever the underneath cut out for the spring is called in english. The spring will not fall in place by itself unless you do this and you will have an sxxxload of squished springs. I consider it unlikely that you dont know this but as it is not in place where you film and show your solution I mention it just in case as a fellow LNL AP tweaker and mod-nut. :) (I'm a professional at thinking backwards, I do everything precisely the absolutely wrong way, T H E N I do the opposite of what I thought would solve my issues and than the dang thing starts working and popping out beautiful reloads, haha) Very inspiring video, you did a lot of things that seems to be wise to follow and then some, I guess I'll have some stuff to do now! Yeppo and my reloading bench is now torn down and emptied, and I will get tuning now for the forseeable future inspired by you and our fellow reloader mates here :) Great video! May the force be with you mates! /Sweden
@@kiwigun_gamer950 Nope it is NOT in the groove in the subplate and this will instantly cause the brass retaining spring to get squished such as the broken spring shown earlier in this video. If you look close it is not set in the groove but outside the plate sticking up where the brass is supposed to slide. This is the proper procedure, ruclips.net/video/KH3-BXeQXyE/видео.htmlsi=32W_Ec_s8NQkFp97&t=32 It certainly happens to most everyone at some point, I did this a couple of springs before I realized I was not replacing/mounting it correctly. The link provided will show you the difference with the spring slide down and set in to the subplate groove compared to the above link where it is not seated properly. And paus here ruclips.net/video/X_blKApcfEo/видео.htmlsi=c_wVgZ9ElKwebIMa&t=787 to see clearly why this difference will squish the spring. I hope that is helpful, and wish somebody told me before I crushed my pile of springs... *facepalm* Otherwise I find this is an absolute gem of a video showing many upgrades mods and tips that is extremely helpful. In fact everyone should check out the entirety of other videos Cold Bore Contraptions put up here, they are very VERY interesting!!! Its in place. You can tell by the way the spring dips down in the video you linked. I even went out and checked it against mine and then put it on so it WASNT in place aaaaaaand yep. Hes got the spring in correctly in this video.

Your video was very informative. Unfortunately for me I don’t have the skills or tools to make/modify the pawl. Cheers!
Thank you. Great honest video.
Thanks so much for this video!
You are so welcome! I hope it helps folks.
How much would you charge to make a pawl for me?
I'm thinking same LOL
What case feeder model from dillon?
I believe it was SKU 000086

I'm using the Mr bullet feeder with Mr bullet feeder dies, I didn't care for the Hornady feeder dies
@@coldborecontraptions2063 by chance do u have part numbers?
Are you selling the pawls
Sorry but I am not.
Doesn’t the powder measure interfere going up with the bullet feeder die.
@@DS-mw5ng no, it doesn't. Close but there's clearance.
You should make some paws and sell them
Sorry, I just don't have the time to spare and I'm not posting videos for profit. Just trying to help folks out with things that have worked for me.
So, I just need two different case feeders and a milling machine. Gotcha.
No sir you do not, spend your money on another tractor and move on👍🏻
