Every extra second of the video is + money. I'm sure he just asked ChatGPT to compose countless metaphors for him so that he could continue his gibberish on a topic that none of the 99% of people care about
There is no practical use case. This is just fancy propaganda to make people buy Google stock because they know thee's gonna be lots of easy money once Trump gets inaugurated and the cash starts to flow😆
There's a theory that posits that quantum computers actually tap into the multiverse, and that the set of results of a specific computation equals the set of realities that contain the calculation, each reality adding one result to the set. Probably got that slightly wrong, but it's an intriguing proposal.
Imagine, training an AI model on a quantum system. Were every weight and bias function is in a super position, and every possible configuration of the AI model can be tested at the same time.
Exactly!! Idk why everyone is whining about 'metaphors' - unless all of these developments and concepts are just over their heads? When I pause to observe what the 'power' of 'googling' something / social media / algorithms have done to my people, my culture, I have to wonder if this has already happened to some extent (we did it to ourselves) ... I suppose the collective human mind could be considered a quantum computer of sorts. Oh no!! A metaphor!!! 😱😂🙄😵💫
It's magic, it's able to go to another parallel universe and retrieve solution info instantly from over there, that's basically magic, scifi turned real, unbelievable.
I wonder how they would even validate the answer the quantum computer provides? Especially if it's a question that would take a conventional super computer millions of years. It's like the scene from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy where the answer to the "Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything" is the number 42. :/
If the answer to the question has a meaning that is important or useful, it is essential to understand what the right question is. Like, What do you get if you multiply 6 by 7?
Imho, no math problem that takes 10 to the 25th power years to solve is worth solving. I was able to solve it with my HP 12C but it took 4 hours. Probably hallucinated..

"can make calculations that would take longer than the universe has existed"...... I mean its realtive to the current supercomputing... not something breaking the laws of nature... anyway... have you guys thought that maybe this is similar to Karl Popper's Falsifiability Theory? I mean we may get closer to lower error margin, but its kind of part of the laws of nature to have the margin there.
This has nothing to do with AI, everytime they say this thing works on "certain applications", an AI operation is not one of them (not yet, and not will be soon), but brute forcing a password is. Stop putting this word "AI" in every bucket. "weird rules", "somehow", "keeping things quantum" are the synonims of "ı dont know" or "you cant understand".. Dude this behavior causes the claims of "tapping parallel universes". It's not that complex but nobody researchs that to understand. it's speed comes from it's logic, and physical conditions that can make this logic works. In binary system "_" has two posibility (0-1), "_ _" has 4 posibility(00,01,10,11) "_ _ _" has 8 possibility because of 2^3=8 and "_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _" 2^10=1024 if a normal computer solves this like in 1024 steps and first digit has 2 process, second digit 4 , third digit 8 fourth digit 16 and so on.. But quantum computers flips every digit with one process, it means for a quantum computer, this 1024 steps of processing reduces to only 10 steps. That's because of a paradigm shift between formal transistor and qubit transistor. They put the electrons in super position, they act according to quantum mechanics so "fast" in ther sphere, as like they are in both place in same time. 0 and 1 same time. then one logic gate determines if they need to be 1 or 0 in one process, whther they are 10.th or 500th digit of the calculation. That's why they are so fast. Comparing formal computers with quantum computers is like me racing against a bullet. İf racing line is total linear, It's impossible for me to win against a bullet, but if you put a slight curve to the path bullet wont be able take that curve so, ı will always win.
Tapping into the multiverse sounds stupid, but it's not an impossibility. It's one of the possible explanations for how a quantum computer gets its set of results. We cannot say for sure of the multiverse exists or not, but it is an intriguing idea.

Let me explain how quantum computers ACTUALLY work: Bob:"I have a math problem that would take a supercomputer a billion years to solve; can our quantum computer solve it?" Jay:"I think so. Let's input it." Bob:"What does it say the answer is?" Jay:"Well it is in a superposition; it is basically saying all answers simultaneously" (awkward pause) Jay again:"So, if the quantum computer solves this, how will we know if it has the correct answer." Bob:"Well, the correct answer is 42." Jay:"That's exactly what our quantum computer is saying the answer is!" Bob:"WOW! Ok I'll go announce this to the press."
There are lots of math problems that are easy to check for correctness, but are difficult to actually get that answer in the first place. Modern cryptography relies on such problems.
Quantum does not scale the way Google claims here. Exponential work does not happen for free. If you want to simulate 2^n states you need to put in an amount of energy proportional to 2^n. This is a property of spacetime, not engineering. Similar principles dictate the size of black holes, and other thermodynamic limits.
This is actually insane...... I think folks are literally too dumb to understand what's being said here. This is yet another step on humanity's path to the Matrix. And no, that's not a metaphor or analogy.

Hmmm - to me it seems a bit of a counter-PR to the fact, that a lot of hyped quantum-computer uses can be solved through better algorithms with a traditional computer. One recent classical-computer improvement being, that not all unpredictable things are really random, machine-learning has made great progress in discovering some, replacing quantum computer needs. And this dipped the financial expectations of quantum computer initiatives a bit. Great time for the quantum-guys to make good PR. Even if it might be on a hypothetical use-case and like with the quantum-supremacy announcement of a few years ago, getting surpassed by algorithmic improvements with a classic computer. Quantum-computers are comparatively slow. But they in theory can really excel at certain computations, where classical computer's efforts grow exponentially with problem-size. But no quantum-computer hto my knowledge has solved a useful case yet - e.g. cracking encryption is a quantum-computer use-case which would really show quantum-computer supremacy.

Oh shoot so pretty much a quantum computer tapping into infinite universes would be a similar theory to how photons turn into waves before it hits the walls in the slit experiment, always got the right ones because it was all of them at the same time and it got the right answer for that time and moment, and the result of our experiences is the correct result of a quantum computer that during its computation is simulating the results of every single one of our actions in response to our exterior stimuli and event that is in accordance to the laws of physics to find the answer to a question that is so above our understanding that it's pointless to even ask. Imagine that, it probably is. That would make the big bang the turn on of a switch, and the universe is meant to be but a source of power to a gpu in a screen of a ultra-dimensional being that is watching hentai on a bus... That is itself being simulated to find the answer to answer an equation on a calculator that is used by a fourth grade version of yourself that lives in a parallel dimension to, but it's parallel vertically to us and is just a 5th grade version of us that lives in the future and is doing last minute homework on the bus. It probably is... It probably be. And what does it all matter? All of these infinite complexities to solve for the most mundane of actions. It proves the infinity of God, and how he is present everywhere, everytime, always. And how we are so insignificant by comparison that its pointless to even solve the answer by ourselves, because we are the answer, to God finding which way the tennis ball would bounce off a back wall of the tennis court in accordance of the laws of physics in an infinite loop of our own reality. To him, we are but a number in a dimensionally infinite calculator that is by itself but a slug made of the sun that is experiencing infinite gods in infinite times in infinite places everywhere, but is but a blasphemy because nothing is greater than God, so what is a slug to it, but the slug is made of infinite gods which means gods actions are merely but it's moves which ironically is the answer to the the question if God is omnipotent can he kill himself, and if he is he eternal can he survive, and the question of what happens if a unstoppable force meets an immovable object, but not the answer to the question of which came first the chicken or the egg which I find kinda funny hahaha

There’s no math problem of this galaxy system complex enough to take more than one hour with a quantum computing so what is being done with the other 23hrs?
It is extremely difficult to find a problem that can be solved with a quantum computer. These are of no practical value.
Are u even serious
@@icecutz don't feed the troll (hope he's just a troll)
@ very serious. These are not general computation devices. The problems that can be solved are extremely niche. It’s not as if it’s just a faster version of a CPU that can do math.
@@Drone256 so they should not be provided funding and development because of what u just said 💀 first it's not difficult to find a problem that can be solved with quantum computers, and these chips are of extreme value. Let me not even start listing the uses of this chip if it actually works the way it was said to
@ they aren’t “provided funding”, they choose to spend their capital this way. Please tell us 3 specific problems solved with quantum computers today. Be very specific and let us know who is leveraging these things for each problem.
My willow is also quantum
What about Gemini
Crypto is in fact useless as soon as someone with access to quantum computer decides to use it to crack crypto.
I am not sure.
DARPA technology
this hype will take more than 10 years on god yall will be dead by then
