- Today we are checking out another of the brand new figures just released by Nanmu!!! This is an eagerly anticipated release, as its 2 different variants of their GORGEOUS Giganotosaurus!!!
Also, this is the longest review I've ever made, which goes to show how INCREDIBLE these two are!!!

The contrast of the green eye is fantastic.
So I can see a lot of people are liking the tiger stripe one. Personally, I like the grey purple one. There is just something so unique about that look. I prefer it.

I love giga and I have a few models and though they are nice and I do love them I have been on the hunt for a really nice one that is not gonna destroy my wallet and when I found your nanmu folder and started going through it and see that you had the nanmu ones I instantly fell in love with them and knew I just had to have atleast one and the more I watched your video the more I just knew I absolutely had to have it. Your videos are amazing and I seriously love watching them please keep them coming 😁. I love doing prehistoric photography and your videos are absolutely helping me build my collection with amazing figures to use for it. Definitely the most amazing Giganotosaurus figures I've ever seen. The lighter color one looks so vibrant and the Darker one(my personal favorite of the 2 ) absolutely look astonishing and very intimidating one I'd definitely be concerned about if one were in a darker almost night time setting

Truly amazing. I have been passing up on so many amazing figures keeping up with Mattel. Kind of burnt on that line, this really got my interest peaked.
Although I already know it won’t be, I wish the giga in Jurassic world dominion would look like this
So do I, the giga looks cool but doesn't look so much like a giga, looks more like a acrocanthosaurus, heck maybe it is and there saving the giga for the actual trailer! Who knows
nanmu's “giga” was a monster with zero accuracy, so no.

@@toofastnobrakes I understand, but I still think Nanmu's giga is a bit too weird for its T-rex like body. And also the JW giga is actually pretty accurate if you ignore the spine.

I really really want an Acrocanthosaurus and carcharodontosaurus from Nanmu. Specially the Acro, that would be the best since it's my favourite dinosaur.

This is the closest thing that we will have to the jurassic world dominion giganotosaurus until the official version comes out andy

Awesome review! I would love to see more size comparisons, for example between sauropods/theropods or between different figures of the same species (e.g. Spinosaurus from Papo, Namnu and W-Dragon next to each other). Many thanks in advance!
Just amazing...Nanmu make a big step forward with his figures: the details of these figures are outstanding. I can't wait to see their version of the Vastatosaurus Rex

Got my blue Nanmu giga 2 days ago... He does not disappoint. Believe the hype people. Even without the stand he is massive. Definitely bigger than the Nanmu Rex.
Got mine from Dan's Dinosaurs. Waiting for it to start shipping.
Ordered mine from BBTS, so hopefully it will eventually come into stock. But who knows, BBTS is extremely slow with Nanmu for some reason

Wow. From a purely paint standpoint that blue variant is off the charts-probably the best mass market dinosaur offering to date. The sculpt is a little too Jurassic Park looking for me, but very well done figures.
Hey Andy if you don’t mind could you make a video showcasing all the namnu figures together , like a size comparison type of way that would be really cool ! Not only that but I feel like it would be cool as it shows how far namnu has come ! , it’s your choice if you want to make it though , don’t wanna act rude 😀

After watching your previous review on the Nanmu T-rexes and now this Giganotosaurus, I am so very excited for them to arrive on my doorstep, haha! Accurate...No, not entirely. But close enough in the ball park to pass as an artistic interpretation of the animal. Definitely influenced by the Jurassic Park aesthetic. I think as a piece for display and to make people interested, this thing kills it.

From what I know this one I BELIEVE is the biggest but yeah you can’t quite see until they’re next to each other

Are all the namu dinosausus hollow? Justbgot in the apatosaurus and was quite dissapointed.
Only downside is T rex is suppose to have a far larger body volume and mass than Giga according to latest finds. 9 tons vs 7 tons for reference.
9 tons is based from Sue who is an oversized adult. If you use a more average sized adult Rex, they would roughly be the same at 7.5-8 tons. You can't use the largest of a species as a base for a comparison. It's like saying every human would have been above 6 ft. tall and over 200 lbs.
@@spinoguy3555 It's hardly the largest or oversized lol, the chance of us finding that specimen is next to none. Sue is just a more matured adult, in fact Scotty is even heavier and younger with more growing to do. T Rex is just more bulkier built and at roughly the same length it would weigh tons more, literally.
@@jinchuriki26 We already have a specimen, Stan. He is moreso the size of an average adult Rex, so we can't use Sue or Scotty as a base comparison, it's not like every Rex would have reached their size. Sue isn't a more matured adult, she's literally 28 which is already considered old for a Rex, Scotty's actual weight is still a bit controversial which is why I don't mention him that much. We can't say a T.rex would have been the only super bulky theropod when Giga is just as large if not larger, the larger an animal is the more its proportions have to change so what's not there to say Giga might have been similar since it was just as large as a Rex? I'm not saying Giga should be bulkier than Rex, I'm just saying to hold your horses because despite a Rex being bulkier and Giga being longer and taller, they were both still in that 7-8 ton range. Again, not counting Sue or Scotty in here.
@@spinoguy3555 Even on the data sheet came with the figures, it says T Rex is 8-9 tons while 6-8 tons for Giga lol. So quite literally the T Rex figure should be quite bit bigger and bulkier in overall mass. This is such an oversight on Nanmu, I would start collecting them if it's not for that inaccuracy coz otherwise they'r every beautifully crafted figures.
They are really great. Detailing, sculpting both are awesome. But the vibe they give out is of a videogame dinosaur and not a real animal I would see in a natural setting when compared to realistic rendition like the Eofauna Giga. Great review !

It will usually say preorder or in stock on the site. If there is no area at all to add to cart, that means its sold out.
As far as private information goes, Dan is VERY trustworthy. I've ordered from him tons of times and have never had an issue yet. Great site to order from!

No they aren't based on the JW design since we technically don't know yet what the JW version will look like. So you should be good to go!

It's unfortunate that this Giga is soo much bigger than expected from the original size comparison by Nanmu, but I guess its nicknamed "Behemoth" for a reason. But if this is a little teaser of how big the Giganotosaurus will be in JW:Dominion, then my dream of a SpinoRex Tag Team may very well happen. 🤞🤞
@Sander Draisma But if I'm not mistaken, the current Nanmu Rex is based off Rexy who is 44 ft. long, and the Buck from TLW was 39 ft., so the male could be smaller than the current Rex.

"Realistic" is a true misnomer with Namnu models... Jurassic Park dinosaurs are essentially just movie monsters at this point, because of how different they are from true scientific reconstructions. "Lifelike" is a very accurate term, but let's face it, none of these figures are close to "realistic." Loving the videos man, keep it up! 👍
Such detail, and fascinating, hard-to-believe these are chinese-mades.
Not all chinese companies own factories with underage children working on low quality doodoo. Nanmu's stuff is quality, but you can notice that in the price tag
