Yo, I’ve worked at a couple different coffee shops in Santa Cruz and the singer of this band comes in from time to time. And I shit you not he is the nicest fucking dude I have ever met I think. Like as nice as a human can be without being weird. Always stoked to see him when he comes in. Had no clue he made such heavy music. Dope shit!
I'm laughing my ass off every time this one dude pulls a wrestling move on fucking stage at 8:07. I keep coming back to this video. Love hardcore shows for their energy. Their singer is almost exploding. Also love the fact that he announces a 12 minute show and it literally is a 12 minute show.
I decided against making the 4 hour drive to this fest last year thinking I’d see all the bands closer on other tours. And then 2 weeks after this covid happened
It's odd... when you close your eyes it's full on bay area thrash... exodus, all.of em. Upon first look its Richard Simmons back from the 80s . Who woulda thought. Pretty solid

EVERYONE looks like they're having a great time. People air drumming, people with smiles on their face as they dash across the stage, lots of good energy here. Fuck I hate getting old, this would've been right up my alley in my more formidable years.
I have listened to 90's nu-metal, grunge, hard rock, heavy metal, death metal, etc. Not much had made me rock my physical body as much as this song. I got into an argument about it, stood my ground, they left, and I continued slinging my body around to this song. Edit: I defended that music could make a person's body sling around randomly and could cause injury if everyone isn't paying attention.
Nice to see Issac helping out the vocals. I’m few that can say I went to high school with Kevin and Isaac, and saw Knocked go from rags to riches in lil OC KY!
Growing up in California in the early 90’s we had exposure to so many different kinds of music compared to other areas in the U.S. The music scene in California always seemed to be way ahead and people were always more open to listening to different shit vs the popular mainstream crap. My brothers and I used to go nuts for anything hardcore and punk. My first concert was Bad Religion and then later Descendents and Screeching Weasel. I remember being 14 and just fucking captivated by the sound. This sounds like shit I would’ve listened to 30 yrs ago as a young teenager. I moved to North Carolina and people were like, “what the fuck is that” 😫I was a true outsider. No one had heard of any of the music I loved. They listened to New Kids on The a Block. Needless to say it sucked ass living there. Anyway, this sounds absolutely wonderful, today, at 43 yrs young. I’ll be a grandma sitting on my porch spin kicking to this 🤩😂
I listen to this more than California cursed or living proof. This show is so fucking good. And the audio is perfect on this recording. The energy comes through perfect.
