I’m a lazy bastard, but next to a gin and tonic, an old fashioned is the easiest cocktail to whip up, Bart! 🤭 Whiskey, bitters, simple syrup, stir with ice (I’m so lazy that I don’t pour it into another glass with fresh ice), and your favorite garnish. I’ll admit, that High West one is intriguing.
I make the odd gin cocktail but I'm essentially with Bart. Whenever I've had a whisky or bourbon cocktail at a bar I always wished I had the straight whisky.
I hated the On The Rocks brand. Makes me very very tentative to spending hard earned whiskey money on a pre made cocktail again. I can screw up cocktails on my own!
Great review. The Bullet I enjoyed the most. And that is the one I would go to if I was on the road and couldn't make a fresh one myself.
