This is an excellent example of Cesar fixing the owner(s) and there being nothing wrong with the actual dog. That dog was so trainable! Cesar is not only a dog psychologist, but a human one as well. Thank you for what you do Cesar ❤
It's my guess that young man will have far fewer panic attacks (if any at all) as a result of what you taught them about handling their dog, Cesar! As he said, he now has a confidence he's never had before. That was a win-win-win ... Kudos!

We need more trainers like Cesar. Nowadays all these youngsters claim to be trainers but can’t do anything close to what Cesar does. I went through multiple trainers to fix my dogs aggression issues but all of them told me that my dog is the issue and that I should put him down. I didn’t give up and I watch numerous videos of Cesar training aggressive dogs, now I can walk my dog past other dogs without pulling or trying to kill the other dogs.

Kudos to the owners for first, rescuing Jr and Second, going on this show to get trained; can’t be easy to show the world where you messed up - I think that’s an accurate reflection of their love for Jr… they were willing to go all the way. Human trainer, Linn was brutal and awesome. The transformation was amazing. Well done.

I’m reminded of something a very wise man said once… you don’t get the dog you want, you get the dog you need. 😉 This taught that young man a very valuable lesson. He NEEDED this.
I fully believe that .I believe it about cats too . I adopted my sweet boy a cat a little over two years ago . He was definitely a cat that had severe anxiety had already in his young life been abused by a male and feared everyone and everything . I was depressed and lonely . He gave me purpose love sweetness and friendship I gave him confidence security total patience and love .. were so close now it's unbelievable! I love him so much and he is so much better . Still a bit fearful but nothing even close to like he was . I also used CBD for cats from Bailey's to help help . Now I never have to give it to him anymore . You get what you need and if your pet is blessed with your love and understanding he or she gets what they need to
Linn really whipped the owners into shape. Cesar's frustration was so visible, when he's asked them not to give affection when Junior is excited and they did, completely unthinkingly. Cesar knew he needed a drill sergeant. Si may have learned a lesson that may go beyond managing Junior. I remember Cesar sending a dog owner to do ju-jitsu. I think Si needs to do ju-jitsu. Cesar, you rock!
I loved the part where he asked why the boy felt the need to give affection and he said because Junior was being good. Linn’s, ‘That’s what he’s supposed to do’, hit the nail on the head.
What I’ve noticed from a lot of the people who adopt shelter dogs and come on the shows for help is that they only come in with love and affection for their animals. Then once the dog starts to display behaviors that the owners don’t realize they feed into, they immediately try to rationalize that as the dog’s unknown past and not how their actions help create that scenario in the first place. Like a savior kind of mentality where they couldn’t possibly be the root of the cause.
That is most excellent. I love this guy drill, sergeant guy. He has the same type of training that I give people and it’s nice to see somebody else being a non-nonsense. This is how it is. Trainer.
I bet this young man’s panic attacks have decreased or been eradicated! He learned to trust himself and his dog. What a transformation!!! 👏😃 Well done both, mom and son! Thanks Cesar and family! 💖
The training of the dog is actually a side issue to the real story here, which is Cesar training people. In this case an insecure boy started the journey to becoming a confident man. The dog was only filling in the vacuum left by weak leaders. Now the dog can go back to becoing a happy dog that is lead by confident leaders. A truly heartwarming story. Cesar you are my hero!
Most people are not willing to listen and let go of their weaknesses and wrong ways of living with their dogs. I was very glad to see them both recognize that they needed to make changes for their benefit as well as their dog's training
I've watched so many episodes of 911, this one by far is my favorite, not only transformed Jr, but also SI evolved into a confident young man.... love it!
Cesar Millan and his son = amazing teamwork! This is the most challenging rehab I've seen, saving the dog from euthanasia while saving the family too, and so much wisdom here that we can all learn from. Much love and respect. 🙏💕
That dog wasn't a therapy dog. It was an insecurity dog. They fed each other's insecurities. Thank you Caesar for turning it around so they could all be calm and secure. Beautiful. ❤
That was incredible. I really did not think they had it in them. Way to go, Cesar. And many thanks to Lyn as well. The toughness he had really forced them to grow. 🎉
Amazing to watch. I think this training experience will really help the young lad Si with more than just handling his dog, I hope it helps with his overall confidence and easing his panic attacks too. It's so true that dogs feed off of our energy. ❤
That was beautiful Cesar. Excellent. You showed him how to take his mind off himself. I believe that's more healing than you know. Anxiety attacks are real and severe. He channeled them to Jr. He realized that but didn't say anything. When faced with the possibility of losing his dog, the reality of what he had done to him was life changing. Now he wants Jr to be happy too. He wants to learn how to make that happen. No longer self, but now someone else. I think Jr will trust them more now. This is awesome find Cesar! Animals really can help anxiety, just needs to be done the right way. You are awesome
I am only 1/4 into the video, and my mouth dropped open! You are REMARKABLE!! And I noticed, you took your breath, composed yourself, "Calm and Assertive". Now, I'll watch the rest of the video.
This was maybe the most difficult training situation for all involved. The young man and the dog basically grew up together in a dysfunctional relationship with both being very emotionally reliant on each other. That had to be especially difficult for the young man to change the dynamics of the relationship with his dog. He relied on Junior's strength when he was himself feeling weak. I'm sure the nursing Junior required to recover from such a terrible injury also played a huge role. I worked with disabled children for many years and almost all came in at the age of 8 because they were getting bigger and stronger, so their behavior was becoming more difficult for the family to handle. Parents accept and excuse whatever behavior their child displays as being due to the disability, when in reality they just hadn't taught them certain behaviors were not acceptable or alternative behaviors to replace the inappropriate ones. Junior was raised in a very similar way. Not that my opinion means anything, but I felt so proud of how everyone involved here stepped up and did the work to flip the dynamics of their relationships with Junior around. Their new confidence was a beautiful thing to see. I've worked with a lot of animals (domestic and wildlife) over the years and a long time ago I learned that when working with animals you will often get the results you expect to get. If you expect the animal to react poorly, they will almost every time. If you expect them to react positively, you get a much better result (even if not perfect). It is the energy they feel coming from you that makes a huge difference and that's when you can actually begin training.
I love this video. The young man's anxiety is caused by his overprotective mother, and he learns from Cesar that he can stand on his own strength Cesar understood he had to teach him to be a man, and he accomplished that. The young man understood that this lesson would help him in other areas of his life. I hope the mom does some self-reflection and gets clear about why she is so overprotective. Mom has some more work to do.
@esadberry Naw. Not everything is a mothers fault! So outdated a view! Both mom and son were not confident. And they both learned to be calm, confident, leaders. Cesar is so wonderful at helping both dogs and humans heal.
This is the best video of not only helping the dog but have truly made better dog owners! Cesar....you are not only dog whisperer, you are family therapist!!!

If I heard in start of video that boy has got panic attacks...suddenly I knew why dog will be having issues. Cesar is great in training dogs. I took from him as well big amount of knowledges and his video for my dog, which was abused and fearful.❤
Cesar: No Affection! Son: Immediately gives affection. Cesar: YOU HAD 1 JOB! Also the dry snark in that Marine's voice telling the son the dog is supposed to do good was hilarious.
I loved this video!! I'm glad you brought in the Marine. I am impressed with your diplomacy in speaking to the owners. I hope they will continue with being " Calm and Assertive ". Caesar, you're not only the Dog Whisperer, but you are also the Human Whisperer !!
I think many people fall into the category of giving the dog to much affection, or affection at the wrong time. My self included. Ceasar has taught me lots.
I like this new series because they seem to take more time training the owners. That tough trainer is someone these people really needed. And the dog has another chance.
I’m guessing all you did Caesar will also help this young man’s panic attacks ❤you helped Junior but you helped that young man a whole lot more. You’re such a beautiful soul ❤❤❤❤
I didn't have faith in them in the begining but they did it!! It is so good that they were able to control the dog. It would be sad if the dog had to be put to sleep. Thank you Cesar! You are amazing!
This was a wonderful episode! The gift you gave to that young man was something he needed just as much for himself as for his dog. Such a wonderful gift!
Panic attacks are caused by excessive breathing in which activates the fight or flight system. Breathing out more than you breathe in activates the rest and relax system.
22:08 Owner: can i give him some affection now? Trainer: why do you want to give him affection? Owner: cause he did good. Trainer: he is supposed to do that Woooow 😂
I really hope Leslie is going to continue being calm and assertive but i think Si did fantastic. He learned something about being a man and showed himself to be strong and just maybe leave his panic attacks in the past. 😊❤❤❤❤
It's taught me a lot. I rescued a dog 18 kg 10 months old. I've had him a year. He is a Viszla cross and thinks everyone is his friend and he has pulled me over about five times. He's now 27 kg but aged about two he has calmed down. I now need to get him to walk next to me not in front. This video was great. It had me crying. My dog is not aggressive at all just he knows he's the leader. I could do with Lin in my home! Well done Cesar.
This is a GREAT video. Cesar and trainer #2 did an amazing job with the owners who CLEARLY love that pup, but were weak as hell. They will ALL 3 be be happier moving forward, especially JUNIOR.
Brilliant! And now that young man may not even get more anxiety attacks? I really hope that with his new-found confidence his whole mindset has become very different!
Ha, actually met a DANE (beatyfull man from Denmark) with a GreateDane last summer. He told me they have been here in Scandinavia since VikingAge AND the breed have change abit since that time. I MISS MY DOG (Viggo) he was NOT as BIG def.def not AGRESSIVE = best way 2 deal with missing a dog MILLAN? All tips (from experinced humans) ARE WELCOME! No, not killing the man who harmed him (just daydreaming about it, BUT a psyco do not HEAL that way) ¡Estás haciendo un gran trabajo César! Me alegro de que hayas elegido volver al planeta.
I have a rescue like this. People give up pets for even the worst of reasons every day. This dog is so lucky to have such loving and committed owners. I would never give up my dogs, no matter how challenging. Thank you to this wonderful family for rescuing, and KEEPING their wonderful but traumatized family member. Good on you, you're amazing people!
This is a really old show but I still love the way the Marine trainer is talking to them. I am 100% like this and it drives me crazy when I see people do what they do with their dogs and then blame the dog for the resulting behaviour. Sadly, one of the reasons why I had to finally retire from dog walking - because the strain of seeing dogs post pandemic with all the behaviours that their humans had put on them and my having to deal with it was just too much for my mental health,
This was the best episode from teaching the owners. I loved that you showed them Junior in your house, how he’s treated. Junior is much happier this way and it was important for the owners to see that. Great video Cesar.
Wow, mother & son are beautiful, beautiful people. It was lovely to see them gain and grow, especially the son. And you can see from the dogs tail he is also so much happier.
That's why it is so importent you be sure about what kind of dog you get, the reason and what you can offer your dog what he needs. And that is not an insecure owner. Luckly Cesar knows how to turn the behavoir of an owner so they can offer their dog leadership❤
Yesterday we drove past Milan New Mexico and the first thing that came to mind was CESAR . I am hooked on your videos, and I don't even own a dog. You're awesome. Gracias Cesar.♥
It’s so so so easy to love your animals too much and do them a disservice. Caesar is truly a gifted man. He’s saved soooooo many dogs from having to be put down. He has a gift not many people have
And... that's why there needs to be a father in the home. "I've never had confidence before." Some kids compensate by becoming weak and some kids compensate with uncontrolled aggression. I was screwed up for many years because my father wasn't around, and after about 10 yrs old I never saw him again.
It’s amazing to see that with all the years that Cesar worked with dogs, Cesar will always be positive. It’s sad to see that the owners themselves that broke Cesar spirit. So glad he was able to stand so strongly in his believes that he can change the human from seeing and doing what is best for their dogs which they love so much.
Amazing work, Cesar! Thats was a tough one with the mother/son coddling the dog! They were so close to losing him and it shows how too much lurve makes rescue dogs with a traumatic past more insecure.
I really liked the Marine trainer. He was the confident trainer that both of them needed. He was there to do a job and not feed into his clients weaknesses. He literally didnt care about hurting their feelings. It was great to see that and it obviously helped them. Great job Cesar and team.
Aw... I felt bad for the lil Chi on the show when the Dane launched at him, he must of been terrified and it came close to him as well. I find it reckless that they allowed him to nearly get killed with that woman being dragged and the son nearly able to grab the leash off her. OMG! They could have used a larger dog for this exercise like a Pittie.

So good. Glad to see the introduction of the "gentle leader" lead. It can be a game changer over pinch-collars. Thanks, Cesar.
I think many people fall into the category of giving the dog to much affection, or affection at the wrong time. My self included. Ceasar has taught me lots.
That was truly amazing, thank you for sharing this wonderful story.
I like this new series because they seem to take more time training the owners. That tough trainer is someone these people really needed. And the dog has another chance.
Incredible CESAR....YOU ARE A GIFT 🎁 TO THESE DESPERATE DOG OWNERS 🐕
Cesar really knows his craft. Amazing.
He has such a gift from the LORD
I’m guessing all you did Caesar will also help this young man’s panic attacks ❤you helped Junior but you helped that young man a whole lot more. You’re such a beautiful soul ❤❤❤❤
I didn't have faith in them in the begining but they did it!! It is so good that they were able to control the dog. It would be sad if the dog had to be put to sleep. Thank you Cesar! You are amazing!
This was a wonderful episode! The gift you gave to that young man was something he needed just as much for himself as for his dog. Such a wonderful gift!
This was wonderful. I am learning so much from Cesar. Thank you, Cesar!
Panic attacks are caused by excessive breathing in which activates the fight or flight system. Breathing out more than you breathe in activates the rest and relax system.

Owner: can i give him some affection now?
Trainer: why do you want to give him affection?
Owner: cause he did good.
Trainer: he is supposed to do that
Woooow 😂
The man that keeps giving. Fantastic Cesar.
You are the leader not your dog that sets a dangerous precedent
I am overwhelmed. The young man, his mother, and the pooch got a miracle. Beatiful to behold. Ceasar is a hero!
This is a GREAT video. Cesar and trainer #2 did an amazing job with the owners who CLEARLY love that pup, but were weak as hell. They will ALL 3 be be happier moving forward, especially JUNIOR.
As a mom this one made me cry. So proud of that family and especially that young man
Brilliant! And now that young man may not even get more anxiety attacks? I really hope that with his new-found confidence his whole mindset has become very different!
this episode is pure gold
My favorite episode ever!!! Caesar, you are a champion trainer! You are so amazing! Just wow! You saved this whole family! I loved this! ❤
You are a tremendous gift to the world.
That's a beautiful Great Dane. The marine was a genius idea.
I was fighting tears at the end. From a boy to a man. Happy for them both. ❤️
You picked the best home trainer for the owners! Perfect
Bravo, to the teachers who were able to transform the folks! The posture of both mom and son were amazing! Thumbs up to everyone!
I see how difficult this is for the young man. But, I know they can do it!!! It's the very best thing for Junior.
Cesar is the GOAT! So sweet to see the evolution of dogs and their owners' behavior and skills on the shows. Keep up the amzing work!
Yesterday we drove past Milan New Mexico and the first thing that came to mind was CESAR . I am hooked on your videos, and I don't even own a dog. You're awesome. Gracias Cesar.♥
This was very emotional. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing story of human transformation. ❤
That kid may have made progress in battling his panic attacks. That would be truly a life changer!
Cesar you are amazing. The best dog trainer I’ve ever known and I’ve known a few
Cesar you are a True inspiration to all You really know how to read people and animals hope someday i get to meet you
Prime example of what a strong positive role model can do for a kids psyche ….great job ❤️
It’s so so so easy to love your animals too much and do them a disservice. Caesar is truly a gifted man. He’s saved soooooo many dogs from having to be put down. He has a gift not many people have
Wow!!! Good job, Lynn... He saved the day.
Once again, it wasn't the dog it was the owners.
Amazing..i have applied this with my massive German shepherd, with now has passed, it worked amazingly!!!
In my opinion, Cesar is by far the best trainer. I have been deeply impressed by this man from the start.
And... that's why there needs to be a father in the home. "I've never had confidence before." Some kids compensate by becoming weak and some kids compensate with uncontrolled aggression. I was screwed up for many years because my father wasn't around, and after about 10 yrs old I never saw him again.
There needs to be a *good* father in the home. Not being snarky, I'm agreeing with you as well.
I love Cesar so much. Just wanted to throw it out there lol hes a good guy.
Are you kidding?Dude I love this video,so many young men need that kind of confidence, not easy to teach as a mom?you rock it Caesar 🌼✨✨💫🙏🏼
Can you send that Marine guy over here...lol...like always...its the human... glad they were able to "own it". God Bless:)
It's beautiful and inspiring to see how God set you apart Cesar and I celebrate all that you are. Thank you! 😊🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing work, Cesar! Thats was a tough one with the mother/son coddling the dog! They were so close to losing him and it shows how too much lurve makes rescue dogs with a traumatic past more insecure.
Amazing transformation! Thank you, Cesar!
I really liked the Marine trainer. He was the confident trainer that both of them needed. He was there to do a job and not feed into his clients weaknesses. He literally didnt care about hurting their feelings. It was great to see that and it obviously helped them. Great job Cesar and team.
I had a dog named Taco lil Chihuahua.... He was so smart he knew words I spelled when trying to outsmart him... He was my favorite baby...
Now why did Cesar bring the tiniest dog possible to see how Jr would react upon meeting lol!!!
To prove its not the size of the animal but the attitude of the handler
Also easier to scoop put of harms way by the female handler.
Awesome, thank you! God Bless!!!
