This young man is the perfect age to acquire that sense and feeling of believing in himself-to feel empowered in the world for perhaps the first time in his life. I would love to spend an hour with Linn, his clarity and ‘fist’ is perfection. I love this video. Thank you, Cesar, for showcasing this case and Linn. 🙏. Your son was great also. I rewound the seconds in which he was featured and thought, what a difference between his energy and the initial energy evidenced by the young man with the Dane.

Well, I think it takes tons and tons of animal expertise and psychology to do that. Humans can control fellow humans, but going far into the realm of animals is a different thing. I learned lessons I never learned before. I don't have a dog at the moment. But this video is so valuable that the wisdom and knowledge I learned can also be applied to humans. I never thought dogs like that can be controlled. God gave you the wisdom to deal with animals. I know it takes an extremely sensitive listening ears, I mean, to listen to body language, etc. I'm gonna keep this video because I think I need to review it over and over. There are gems of ideas I can still get as I watch this anew. Thanks and God bless♥️♥️💯💯

I went through multiple trainers to fix my dogs aggression issues but all of them told me that my dog is the issue and that I should put him down. I didn’t give up and I watch numerous videos of Cesar training aggressive dogs, now I can walk my dog past other dogs without pulling or trying to kill the other dogs.

He was definitely a cat that had severe anxiety had already in his young life been abused by a male and feared everyone and everything . I was depressed and lonely . He gave me purpose love sweetness and friendship I gave him confidence security total patience and love .. were so close now it's unbelievable! I love him so much and he is so much better . Still a bit fearful but nothing even close to like he was . I also used CBD for cats from Bailey's to help help . Now I never have to give it to him anymore . You get what you need and if your pet is blessed with your love and understanding he or she gets what they need to

Linn really whipped the owners into shape. Cesar's frustration was so visible, when he's asked them not to give affection when Junior is excited and they did, completely unthinkingly. Cesar knew he needed a drill sergeant. Si may have learned a lesson that may go beyond managing Junior. I remember Cesar sending a dog owner to do ju-jitsu. I think Si needs to do ju-jitsu. Cesar, you rock!

What I’ve noticed from a lot of the people who adopt shelter dogs and come on the shows for help is that they only come in with love and affection for their animals.
Then once the dog starts to display behaviors that the owners don’t realize they feed into, they immediately try to rationalize that as the dog’s unknown past and not how their actions help create that scenario in the first place. Like a savior kind of mentality where they couldn’t possibly be the root of the cause.

Now he wants Jr to be happy too. He wants to learn how to make that happen. No longer self, but now someone else. I think Jr will trust them more now. This is awesome find Cesar! This was maybe the most difficult training situation for all involved. The young man and the dog basically grew up together in a dysfunctional relationship with both being very emotionally reliant on each other. That had to be especially difficult for the young man to change the dynamics of the relationship with his dog. He relied on Junior's strength when he was himself feeling weak. I'm sure the nursing Junior required to recover from such a terrible injury also played a huge role. I worked with disabled children for many years and almost all came in at the age of 8 because they were getting bigger and stronger, so their behavior was becoming more difficult for the family to handle. Parents accept and excuse whatever behavior their child displays as being due to the disability, when in reality they just hadn't taught them certain behaviors were not acceptable or alternative behaviors to replace the inappropriate ones. Junior was raised in a very similar way. Not that my opinion means anything, but I felt so proud of how everyone involved here stepped up and did the work to flip the dynamics of their relationships with Junior around. Their new confidence was a beautiful thing to see. I've worked with a lot of animals (domestic and wildlife) over the years and a long time ago I learned that when working with animals you will often get the results you expect to get. If you expect the animal to react poorly, they will almost every time. If you expect them to react positively, you get a much better result (even if not perfect). It is the energy they feel coming from you that makes a huge difference and that's when you can actually begin training.

I love this video. The young man's anxiety is caused by his overprotective mother, and he learns from Cesar that he can stand on his own strength Cesar understood he had to teach him to be a man, and he accomplished that. Ha, actually met a DANE (beatyfull man from Denmark) with a GreateDane last summer. He told me they have been here in Scandinavia since VikingAge AND the breed have change abit since that time. I MISS MY DOG (Viggo) he was NOT as BIG def.def not AGRESSIVE = best way 2 deal with missing a dog MILLAN? All tips (from experinced humans) ARE WELCOME! No, not killing the man who harmed him (just daydreaming about it, BUT a psyco do not HEAL that way) ¡Estás haciendo un gran trabajo César! Me alegro de que hayas elegido volver al planeta.

I have a rescue like this. People give up pets for even the worst of reasons every day. This dog is so lucky to have such loving and committed owners. I would never give up my dogs, no matter how challenging. Thank you to this wonderful family for rescuing, and KEEPING their wonderful but traumatized family member. Good on you, you're amazing people!

This is a really old show but I still love the way the Marine trainer is talking to them. I am 100% like this and it drives me crazy when I see people do what they do with their dogs and then blame the dog for the resulting behaviour. Sadly, one of the reasons why I had to finally retire from dog walking - because the strain of seeing dogs post pandemic with all the behaviours that their humans had put on them and my having to deal with it was just too much for my mental health,

This was the best episode from teaching the owners. I loved that you showed them Junior in your house, how he’s treated. Junior is much happier this way and it was important for the owners to see that. Great video Cesar.

That's why it is so importent you be sure about what kind of dog you get, the reason and what you can offer your dog what he needs. And that is not an insecure owner. Luckly Cesar knows how to turn the behavoir of an owner so they can offer their dog leadership❤

And... that's why there needs to be a father in the home. "I've never had confidence before." Some kids compensate by becoming weak and some kids compensate with uncontrolled aggression. I was screwed up for many years because my father wasn't around, and after about 10 yrs old I never saw him again.

So glad he was able to stand so strongly in his believes that he can change the human from seeing and doing what is best for their dogs which they love so much.

Aw... I felt bad for the lil Chi on the show when the Dane launched at him, he must of been terrified and it came close to him as well. I find it reckless that they allowed him to nearly get killed with that woman being dragged and the son nearly able to grab the leash off her. OMG! They could have used a larger dog for this exercise like a Pittie.
