    This is not your regular everyday rice kheer, it is rice kheer that is made richer and creamier with rich milk solids of Khoya or Mawa.
    Kheer is Indian rice pudding made with only three basic ingredients- rice, milk and sugar. And I think that’s the reason it is so commonly made because the basic ingredients are so readily available everywhere.
    My recipe calls for more than 3 ingredients but those are all optional and add ons. A simple rice kheer that I made was always made with only rice, sugar and milk.
    Ingredients
    Milk 3cup
    Rice 3/4 cup (washed and soaked 2-3 hrs before )
    Super 1 cup
    khoya 1/2 cup
    Cardamom seeds 1/2 tsp
    Almood , pistachio for garnishing
    How to cook
    1. Take a cooking pan add milk and boil the milk. While boiling add cardamom seeds.
    2. Once the milk starts boiling, add soaked rice in it.
    3. Cooked it until the rice is done. Then add sugar in it.
    4. When the kheer starts thickening, add KHOYA. And stir occasionally
    5. Then add whipping cream or cream in it and cook.
    6. At the end add chopped alloy and cashews.
    7. When the bubbles starts on the surface of the kheer. Kheer is ready.
    8. Dish out in bowls and garnish with chopped nuts and serve chilled.
    Homemade KHOYA recipe
    Milk 1 kg
    Lemon juice 3 tbsp
    Powdered milk 4 tbsp
    Condensed milk 1/2 can
    Butter 1 tbsp
    Method:
    1. Boil milk. Add lemon juice. When curd is formed. Filter from cheese cloth and was it with normal water one or two times.
    2. In a pan take butter and melt it. Then add milk cheese, powdered milk and condensed milk and mix well.
    3. Cook until all the water content dries up and the mixture leaves the pan.
    4. KHOYA is ready
