I've seen them live at Wembley Stadium with 60,000 fans and these men are amazing. 3 Rappers and 4 vocalist they are 7 Song Writers, 7 composers, 7 Producer's each to a greater or lesser degree and nearly all of them play more than one musical instrument. 5 time's Grammy nominated, performed at the Grammys more than once. 8 Billboard hot 100 number 1's all debuting at the number 1 position. 12 Billboard Awards, only group or artist to beat the Beatles record of achieving 3 Number 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in less than a year and they did it quicker than the Beatles. 28 Guiness world record's and over 900 awards achieved in 10years. They also have the biggest music fan base on the planet called A.R.M.Y.

@@mrsta8233 yes it does when all the seat's are sold however the stage was in the way so not all the seats could be sold. I've been in wembley stadium when there were almost 120,000 and many people had to be lifted up and passed hand by hand over the tops of the headds of other's due to the crush then they changed their rules about how many people you could have in on the pitch.
BTS is the biggest group in the world but the reason you likely haven't heard them is they don't get radio play in the U.S. because they're Asian. They have over 300+ songs in their discography across many genres including a lot of rap & hip hop since those genres are the roots of the group. I'll leave it there for the moment as many of us that have followed them for years can write novels in reactors comments when you first discover them. Keep exploring.
One of my all time favorites. It's so hard to pick a favorite though, if you listen more, they have many genres and never sound the same. Not Today, the Cypher series, UGH, and that doesn't even cover their solo projects. You will not be disappointed, they are incredible! Probably have not heard them because they are rarely played on radio except their English speaking songs and in general the industries have been difficult to say the least. Can't go wrong with BTS!

It's okay. A lot of people have been living under a rock. We've all been there at one time, and then, POW! You can't help but go down the K-pop rabbit hole. BTS are a whole other experience than the usual K-pop groups you'll find. You do find, though, it's a lot of rinse and repeat. There are a few you will find that have that extra something special. So have fun! Make sure you check out lyrics, and with BTS, it's a must because there's levels to their lyrics. They don't just spout out pretty words. There's so much more meaning behind it. K-bands are great, too, like Onewe and The Rose.
BTS roots are hip hop. Western radio rarely give them spins. BTS have 3 rappers (RM and Suga were underground rappers prior to joining BTS.) They have hundreds of songs that span from rap to Latin pop so don't assume they have just one sound 🤗

Their Rap is the most meaningful but so dynamic. I advise you to check out the songs of the rap line "Tear", "Ugh", "Cypher 1,2,3,4" You definitely won’t regret it
BTS are the best for a reason. They do it all. They are very diverse in what they can do and are multi talented. 3 rappers and 4 singers. They have 3 all English songs. Most of their stuff is a mix of Korean and English. I suggest that you watch "ON" kinetic manifesto, "Fake Love", " Dope". "Dynamite", " Butter", and "Permission to Dance are the all English songs. I enjoyed your reaction. They have so much content across so many music genres. They started out as a hip hop group so their early content is rap heavy. They have 3 rappers and 4 vocalist so rap is included in the majority of full group songs. They have so songs within the group and each of them have their own music outside BTS like JK’s Standing Next to you.

K-hip hop is great - especially trailblazers like Epik High and Drunken Tiger who were a huge influence on BTS. Lyrics are meaningful.
You gotta see Magic Shop live performance by bts that song has helped me through the toughest times of my life it's absolutely an Incredible song not to mention the member Jungkook wrote it for their fans called Army 💜
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people say how much that song helped them. Some even say it saved their lives. I made a nice comment about it once and an Army sort of dismissed it saying it’s only like a pat on the back while other BTS songs to Army are like warm hugs. HUH? I was offended because I know for some, it is more than a pat on the back. 🤗

Please note: BTS redefined kpop, and there is a debate if they even are kpop anymore.
The majority of kpop acts are manufactured and are there to look pretty and do what they're told until they get too old to pull in money.
It is one of the reasons BTS have struggled to gain respect in the western world -- people assume they are all the same.
But these men went from disrespected underdogs in kpop to trendsetting leaders who no one can catch up to.
Newer groups have laughed and complained to BTS members that they have set the bar too high.
A majority of behind-the-scene video content ideas you see on RUclips and TikTok are things that BTS either pioneered or made trendy.
Before 2017 (when BTS won their first Billboard Award for Top Social Artist), they were the only ones utilizing social media successfully. As rookie nobodies from a bankrupting label, that was the only way they could reach their fans.
Before that win, they were openly mocked for ever thinking they would actually win a major American award. They were a bunch of "nobodies" in the kpop world, after all.
But after that win, every kpop act either created or revitalized their accounts and tried to replicate what BTS did. These "nobodies" were suddenly blowing up internationally, and the "somebodies" who dominated the kpop industry (by having money and power) were crapping themselves.
Other agencies even started putting together groups to directly compete with BTS. They focused on finding people to recreate the same dynamic and abilities. Though that move is a transparent ick to those paying attention, it has created other really good groups of hardworking members.
BUT before that, BTS was the only group successfully creating and producing their own music at that level. It's just an example of how they raised the bar in the kpop world.
This is only the tip of the iceberg.
The music is HipHop. The language is Korean. If you love the music...

You know, the whole world listens to Western music, so it shouldn't be any surprise at all that there are rappers in many foreign countries and languages.The rap scene in South Korea has been around since 1989. The underground rap singing there really took off in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
BTS has three rappers and four vocalists and the rappers can rap circles around 95% of Western rap/hip hop artists. Not only in their abilities but their lyricism as well.
BTS member SUGA goes by the name Agust D when he's a solo rapper. Watch "Daechwita"!! And "Haegeum"!! Best rap you've ever heard or seen.

I've learned since I discovered BTS just how bad Americans are fed formulaic musicians the US music industry wants use to hear period. Keep reacting to everything you want!! It is your channel! But will definitely be checking back for BTS content too! I think you will like them. They are so incredibly versatile and that is what is so fun. When they drop new music as a group or individually, we never know what we are going to get! K-pop groups usually have people who rap and sing and they all usually dance. TXT or Tomorrow by Together is another good group to react to. An older group is Big Bang. Other groups are Stray Kids, EXO, Enhypen, Ateez, NCT and literally hundreds of others. You could always check out videos like the top K-pop songs, artists, or videos. There are also girl groups, like NewJeans, Black Pink, Girls Generation, and Le Sserafim. K-pop is a whole industry with a lot of genres. BTS actually started out as a hip hop group and their older music reflects that.

Different kind of music eh? I'll let my fellow ARMY suggest BTS songs then. From Korea, I'd suggest Mamamoo. A girl group (although more than one is now over thirty I think) and they have some great vocals; I'd recommend the songs Egotistic, Hip, and Aya.
An American singer I feel is criminally overlooked is Tracy Chapman; fell in love with her music as a kid and I feel she formed some of my sense of justice from a young age, all the way over here in Sweden. Songs I recommend from her are Fast Car, Talkin' Bout A Revolution, and Give Me One Reason.
Dimash Kudaibergen is a Kazakh (as in from Kazakhstan) singer who's vocal abilities are incredible. Songs from him: SOS, and Sinful Passion.
I also recommend The HU from Mongolia; they're a folk metal band that incorporate throat singing and traditional Mongolian instruments into their music. Recommended songs: Yuve Yuve Yu, and Wolf Totem.
And lastly an Irish group called the Cranberries, in particular their song called Zombie. They wrote it in condemnation of the IRA bombing in Warrington, England in 1993, that killed two young boys aged 3 and 12. (You might need subtitles for that one even though it's in English as she sings in an Irish accent that can be hard to understand if you're not used to it.)

Hi, you can see Jungkook at 4:51. BTS debuted 10 years ago and they were trainees for 3 years.
They have more than 430 major awards, including international awards such as the American Music Awards. They were nominated 3 times for the Grammys. They have a solid career and around 80 million fans around the world (others say there are many more).
The group is made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists.
There are currently three members serving mandatory military service in South Korea. That's why each member did a solo project. Like Jungkook's that you reacted to.
This month (dicember 2023) the other 4 members, including Jungkook, are going to complete mandatory military service. In this way all 7 will be active in military service. They will return as a group in 2025; They promised it to ARMY and we will wait for them with a lot of patience and love. These guys are extraordinary.
