I have to share this... I am experiencing a more demanding period at work, but also in life. I like stability and right now the foundations of my life and the things I relied on to give me a solid foundation are shaking. I sit at home, have a home office and work. I played this video in the background. It's a cold day outside, it's raining, it's cloudy and the cold wind is blowing. I've been up since 5:50am, feeling tired, demotivated, under pressure, and my cat just climbed into my lap. I automatically started scratching his head and he narrowed his eyes, and for a small moment your music somehow became more embedded in my consciousness and I wanted to cry. I mean, I managed to "squeeze out" two or three tears. I always had a huge problem with crying, I was never good at it, no one taught me, I suppressed my emotions. But at certain moments, very rarely, something helps me overcome those walls for a moment and cry. Today it was this music. Thank you. It's rare for me, and I needed this.
Frederik thank you for sharing this, we are (particularly as men) under immense pressure to suppress our emotions. I think I was drawn to music initially as a way to deal with this. I am glad this piece loosened things a little and I wish you a return to stability and happier times soon.
I would assume that you must, as I do, feel deeply in this world. I would assume that words are often not adequate to express your deeper emotions. I would assume that these soothing ambient sounds carry you to places of understanding within. Just as they do for me.
It’s music therapy for the soul… Thanks Sheldon. I was exploring a core limiting belief today. It’s something that John J. Prendergast mentions in his book ‘The Deep Heart’. I reconciled myself to something I’d misunderstood about my dad and that he did indeed love me. Damn, how kids can misperceive things so badly. Somehow the dream interpretation and now reinterpreting was worth it. Thats grace. ❤
@@Poetry-Reads-and-Writes there is such an ocean of understanding to be crossed in our relationship with our fathers, especially as men. I have also done much work on that, John J Prendergast has a lovely way of talking about these things.
I’m a successful artist but find many forms of music like this can at times be more uplifting to the spirit. If I look at a Van Gogh painting and listen to this music it really has a profound effect on my spirit. Thankyou

My granddaughter is called Grace, and this peaceful composition is perfect for reflecting our time together. As wonderful and beautiful as Grace is ❤️🙏
