    I totally agree with Mr. Barras, question down below! You need to send to manufacturer.. Congrats on your 1Yr. Anniversary! Thank you for this information as I have been following your channel and have been looking to purchase a K XL Model, I hope they have addressed many of these issues on the 22 and 23 Models. Thanks again.

    Great video. I'm so tired of looking at RV's that have been manicured for the video. The lived-in look is perfect because I'm able to see real world usage which is important to me before I make my purchase.
    Thanks for the info.

    I appreciate your recap of life living in the RV for a year. It reminds us or informs us that there are requirements and that things do break. Like your recommendation to attend an RV maintenance course. Do it again at two years. 😊

    Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! Great video! Have you sent this link to the manufacturer of the rig so they see your comments on the good and bad points? They seemed very well thought out from living in it for a year! Looking forward to seeing you later this month!

    Really nice and thorough review. Yes !!! The kitchen counter space...do people even cook ? Our old Fleetwood Icon Sprinter RV has more kitchen counter space than many Super C's. I still don't get why not one Super C manufacturer doesn't take advantage of the space behind the rear wheels for an extra large storage bay.

    On your maintenance routine have you ever checked the roof seals or washed the roof. I know the manufacturers stress about maintaining abs inspections on the roof.

    Great video - good info on the outdoor entertainment - I assumed that the stereo was hooked up to some antennae and the TV could use the speakers out there. Looking forward to the one year finance video. Maybe some ideas after the first year would be the clubs memberships that worked and those that didn't - best apps that are worth it you used - trip planning advice and apps, etc. - Thanks again

    Another great and informative video as always!
    I purchased a suction cup rearview mirror for a ski boat and put it up so I could keep an eye on people, dogs and things behind me while going down the road. You may want to give that a look.
    If you choose auxiliary or “AUX“ on the outside stereo, it will play the sound from the TV through the speakers. The volume control on the stereo will then control the volume
    The switch above the sink controls the lights above the sink. If the switches in the “on” position, the Firefly system will control those lights. You can manually override and turn it off with the switch.
    The large drawer for pots and pans in the kitchen in our rig has two catches. One of them was not installed properly and was not helping to hold the drawer closed. Once I positioned it correctly and put a second screw in it, the drawer stays closed even though it’s full of heavy pots and pans. You may want to give a quick look under the edge of the drawer opening at the top to see if both of your drawer catches are functional.
    We had a piece of wood debris under the pull out pantry. It eventually vibrated into a spot where it caught and would prevent the bottom unit from opening fully. I put my cell phone in there and videoed what was blocking the door and was able to identify the problem and move it. Maybe yours has the same problem.

    • @StuartDoingStuff
      @StuartDoingStuff  2 года назад

      Hi Richard, thanks for all the input! I checked my drawer and there are no latches, maybe that was something that was added after I got mine because of feedback, or maybe they just forgot to put them on mine lol. I will check the stereo speakers outside, but I think I tried that when I first got the rig and it didn't work, but maybe I was doing something wrong too. Thanks for watching!

    I'm not sure if this is your first time having Cummins Diesel , but take my advise from a old trucker ok . I been trucking over 30 years and always drive a Dodge truck with a Cummins . About 2 years ago my co worker tells me that he has over 700,000 miles on his truck and never did any repairs to his motor , he bought his truck in 2008 , brand new Dodge with a Cummins . All I can say is the Cummins like to be pamper and if you do that the Cummins will last you more than a life time . My co worker and me always use synthetic oil , change the air filter every 2nd oil change . This is very important to do , every 2nd oil change you must find your fuel pump , if you don't know where it is , go to a diesel repair shop and get them to show you and get them to show how to drain the moisture from the fuel pump . If you do this , you can screw up your fuel pump and to replace it would cost over $ 5,000.00 to repair it .

    The Furrion Stereo system does have an option to run sound from your outside TV by simply using the mode button until AUX shows on the display, then just turn up the volume. You have to be smarter than the buttons.

    • @StuartDoingStuff
      @StuartDoingStuff  2 года назад +1

      I just went out and checked my outside stereo and TV, and its a no-go. There is no external output from the TV being run to the stereo. Perhaps it can be done, they just didn't do it on my rig :(

    Try 3M VHB (very high bond) tape to secure wires to the roof or sidewalls.

      Yeah I have heard good things about that, I heard lots of people use that to attach their solar panels to the roof without drilling.

    Great video!! A few questions. How many miles did you put on the rig in a year? Is there a really good vacuum you would recommend? We have a dog that will be traveling with us. We enjoy watching your videos!!

    • @StuartDoingStuff
      @StuartDoingStuff  2 года назад

      Hi Lisa! I put about 15,000 miles on the rig in 2021. I have a Dyson portable vacuum that I think works great, other people have said the Shark vacuums work pretty good too but I haven't tried those yet. If my Dyson ever dies, I'll probably try those, they're much cheaper. Thanks for watching!

    What were the problems with the converter?

    • @StuartDoingStuff
      @StuartDoingStuff  2 года назад +1

      It had to do when I upgraded to lithium batteries, the converter needed to be upgraded, but they sent me one that wasn't compatible with the bigger power panel, so they upgraded again and it just didn't work. The 3rd one I ended up finding the problem, it was a simple fix. There are 4 20amp fuses that are specifically for the converter, it kept blowing the fueses, so I changed them to 25amp and it worked fine. The manual calls for 20amp but it just isn't enough with the new converter and the lithium batteries.

  • @skiplunders1716
    @skiplunders1716 Год назад +2

    You have stuff thrown everywhere and you have the nerve to say something looks cheap that you don't directly see . Try cleaning up maybe the cabinets will not look discolored, also the big drawer maybe you have exceeded the weight limits and that's why it pops open.
