I would say stay in the heart of Madrid at the Moderno hotel, because everything is central to that spot, and you can go in any direction and see a world of shops, museums, restaurants, department stores gardens, and most anything you’re looking for.
I plan to visit Madrid in April. My aim is to avoid the huge summer crowds, as well as the winter weather. In my experience, the Mediterranean countries tend to be pretty nice during spring and fall.
Things to know before you go to Spain and my mom, who was born in Zaragoza will tell you about her country. My dad was stationed there when they met and then went back to Torrejon where me and my brothers lived for 4 years in Royal Oaks 1974 thru 1978. I was born in 1964 at Plattsburgh AFB and still living with my mother here in beautiful Las Vegas. My older brother was born in Zaragoza and lives nearby since retiring from the Air Force.
Very impatient to visit Spain! The main thing I want to do is to visit Santiago Bernabeu since I'm a die-hard madridista. Hopefully I'll be able to fulfil this dream of mine soon!
@@Sebas1592 like $1600 but it’s in that really boujee looking city center and the terrace is a nice view and overall it’s just really nice. That was the total cost for about a week.
Hi, if I'm over 26 and coming to Madrid for a few days. How is it recommended to get around by public transport and how can the costs of this be reduced?
Have a great time! As it is the summer, we recommend you visit your must-see sights first thing in the morning (aim for opening times of each attraction) and stay hydrated! Many of the museums stay open until around 7pm so you can always head inside for a few hours during the hotter parts of the day and use the late afternoon to sight see as well.
Yes but avoid going in the height of summer, it can be super crowded and warm at this time. Try to get a hotel with a pool so you can spend some chill out time back at the hotel, in between sightseeing!
@@BK_718, more or less the same. Probably milder. The colder months (nothing to be scared about) are January and February. Regarding rain, Madrid’s climate is quite sunny all year round, but the rainiest months are April, October, and November.
@@robert111k thank you brother. I’m from New York city and plan on visiting from early to mid December. Usually our winters here in New York City can be very cold windy and rainy or even snowy sometimes but with climate change recently our winters have become just a little bit more tolerable. Usually we are a very rainy city averaging about 100 millimeters of precipitation each month unless there’s a streak of dry sunny days.

It is super easy to use, you can get a tourist travel card that includes the metro or you can pay as you go. You could also download a Madrid metro app to help you get around
Is the tourist card for the metro available to use for unlimited journeys? For example the 2 day ticket can that be used multiple times on the two days?.

Yeah such incredible architecture! We couldn’t stop taking pictures of it all!

Going in October, I'm looking for good hotel rates nearby Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Any suggestions are truly appreciate it.
Just booked NH Zurbano was well priced and close
Me as well, El Classico I’m assuming? Booked an AirBnB and the prices weren’t bad at all considering it’s about 10-15min drive from the Bernabeu
Me too! Yo we should all lowkey link up!? Lmao when in October are you guys going?

I want to visit Madrid
So pretty. Wonderful people and great sightseeing!
The best!
Is late November a good time to visit? Is it too rainy too see the place?
You can visit in November and there won't be too much rain but just make sure to bring layers because it can get cold during the month.
I living in London next year in going to move to Madrid
Nice
How is early March to visit Madrid?
March is a good time to visit as there aren’t too many tourists. Just bring layers as it can get chilly in the evenings
What is layer? What do you mean. I can't understand :(
Is good
Thank you!
Would Madrid be a good place to go with a 3 year old?

I don’t think she mentions whether a person can conveniently and safely bicycle around Madrid. 🤔
I would not renommend cycling, except in parks
how is the weather in late december in madrd?
