I did this build awhile ago. Definitely has been nerfed but it's not impossible to cycle it infinitely half the time. Versus Yokai (Not-Human-Enemies) they've always given you a sizeable amount of Amrita when they're out of Ki. Going into Living Weapon while they're out of Ki (While they're in Discord or because of your Ki Damage) will keep it up infinitely during the duration of this vulnerablility. The trick to keeping it up even after that is that in Living Weapon form you actually still have access to some of your midstance (and low and high with a certain glitch but forget that) skills, most importantly the kick. Evade into your roll and immediately start your Quick Attack Combo, if your Mid-Stance has a kick, it'll do that when your Heavy Attack at the end. You can use that to re-drain your Yokai Enemy's Ki before your duration runs out, and then refuel during they're new Vulnerable and BAM! Post-Nerf Infinite Living Weapon. Pleiades (The Amrita Multiplier) makes this a bit easier but not necessary. All you need is =/>B+ Action and =/>A- Recovery and =/> C+ Gauge Rate. Unlike before though you're going to have to dodge to keep it up in between the vulnerabilities, or just pop more spirit stones. I personally use the dual sword kick double slice.
It was nerfed, it somewhat works with full fanatics set and suzaku but it requires setup and you have to let suzaku proc at death. It's not perfect but a little bit closer.
I don't underatand why they keep nerfing stuff. It's making the game harder and harder. If they keep this up, no build will be good and we'll be doing 1 damage a hit...

Would the Aya-Komori guardian be better considering it's stats are A+ / A+ / C- /A- ? or do you HAVE to use Shinka? My build does revolve around back attack damage.
Now you just get yourself some Suzaku, Fanatic set, and eat Spirit Stones when necessary. Or just murder the entire level to sustain it permanently. While also getting the Critical boost.
Christopher Garland it fills it, I save all the smallest ones and depending on the spirit I can use 2 to 4 and that's it, you can use your living weapon, very useful to use before a boss to have your living weapon ready, but I mainly use yatagaratsu
You can no longer easily get back your living weapons with gems like this. I believe the most any one stone can charge it is like 25%. Suzaku is also a pretty good choice for this since if you're in critical mode, the gauge is constantly filling on it's own and it almost completely beats out the normal degradation of Living Weapon via time. Since you're in critical anyway, there's a lot of strong effects you can stack on your armor/weapons to make you truly frightening and do insane amounts of damage.

that warning about not making Nioh easy. playing PvE with an OP build does not make you a casual. sometimes after a bad day you just want feel like a fucking god tearing everything apart from one end of the game to the other. this is perfect for those occasions.
it doesnt work for me tho ik level 75. 72 in spirit, 12 magic i have armit gain on all my sub gears and stuff but everytime i attack im losing my guage drastically without being hit?
Do you NEED to specifically use the spirit animal Shinka? Can't you use another one with a high grade recovery as well? The reason I'm asking is cause I want to use the build right away and not after midgame lol thank you. (Also I didn't update the game so I can still use this exploit for anyone wondering)
if you have the extraciton talisman up you can still re-fill your amrita gauge pretty quickly after living weapon is done so you are semi-imortal with a few moments of mortality

it doesn't see to work anymore, when I try it the amrita from atacking enemies doesnt fill the living weapon bar, only the amrita from killing enemy does
if you put enough point to magic u can also get the slow talismans that nerfs 80% of all bosses in the game plus the talasmans and you can get an epic charm that also gives benifits such as : 1) heals you every time u Kill with your living weapon 2) increases living weapon duratuon 3) gives you amrita for strikes (which stacks with you other talasman) 4) change to defense spirit and let's not forget the kodama/treaure/enimy/amrita sense ones. with this guy's build and the proper charms and a low stance kuragma spec you are invincible, not "just about" you are literally unstoppable godnmode, it's like what would a Japanese darksouls made forbade 5 year old play like especially if u reforge each item u have to change to dense spirit, talk about untouchable!
