I first heard this song driving at night north to Fresno, a cool evening in the valley, and this came on the radio. I blasted this with the windows down and had to pull over to download it and put it on repeat! I miss California.

+Arianna Gomez Hi thank you! Confidence I don't think can really be taught- but I can easily tell you how I've grown to become more confident! Honestly, I think that growing up in the spotlight over the last few years was really difficult for me and it kind of forced me to grow up in some ways and figure out parts of myself I was unhappy with and try to learn how to change them. I won't lie- I'm still working on that, haha, but I feel like a lot more confident of a person now in all regards than ever before in my life. Also exercise! It helps a lot :) xxB

+Marcial Silva definitely California Nights. I think we just had to grow a lot as a band + people to make an album like this. We felt like we were able to go in a lot of directions we didn't ever feel comfortable going in before because of self imposed limitations, to an extent. I just think that with this record we for sure just decided, let's do whatever and not be afraid to go there. And thank you! xxB

Love how this song kind of drifts away from the original style of the band, it really surprised me when i was listening to the record. Are you guys planning to create more tunes like this in the future? Or maybe going back to ballads like 'Up all night'?

I don't think we will ever be one of those bands that "changes" - i think we will always just follow our guts and go in whichever direction feels right for us. This record is kind of all over the place stylistically. I mean, I love writing and singing ballads and I never want to be boxed in to just one type of music. We shall see! xxB

At what age did you know that you wanted to be an artist?
+antonio ramos I've been singing since I was a little kid, and I started writing music when I was like 13. I always knew my future held something musical, but I wasn't sure what it would entail or when it would happen. I just kind of went with my intuition when it came to Best Coast and did everything that felt right! xxB
