I come from Iran. Lived 16 years of my life in Sweden and recently moved to Canada. I know what it means to live in a country of socialism and high taxes. Personally I believe more in free market and capitalism but at least in Sweden you could feel where the tax money goes. You could feel the healthcare system. And they managed to find a right balance between socialism and capitalism. I moved to Canada because I like the culture, the people but honestly the healthcare system is terrible and I don't really feel the benefits of paying all the taxes.

Wonderful speech Pierre! My wife and I meet a wonderful lady on our flight home from Argentina on Thursday/Friday from Venezuela. Her and her husband moved to Canada 15 years ago for the dream of living in a free Country. They now reside in Quebec and both have great jobs, 3 children and speak 3 languages. I come from Iran. Lived 16 years of my life in Sweden and recently moved to Canada. I know what it means to live in a country of socialism and high taxes. Personally I believe more in free market and capitalism but at least in Sweden you could feel where the tax money goes. You could feel the healthcare system. And they managed to find a right balance between socialism and capitalism. I moved to Canada because I like the culture, the people but honestly the healthcare system is terrible and I don't really feel the benefits of paying all the taxes.
Vote Pierre, pay for your own health care with no change in taxation.

AlbertA is the only province without rent control ! I have a 35% increase this August and I am retired. Not sure what I am going to do!! Move to the country Saskatchewan? I work 20hrs @ week to make ends meet, which now excludes me from low income housing, which is NOT what I want. Any ideas how we can rent control would really help us renters!!! ????
