I literally just watched the CEO of Huawei giving a talk at a tech conference about the enormous IoT ecosystem they are building. it covers from Semiconductor manufacturing, to CPU design, to AI, to Huawei app ecosystem, to Huawei's Harmony OS which is a cross platform operating system that can be used on smart TV and other home appliances as well as smartphones and computers. These Internet of Things will all be linked by Huawei's HiLink system.
China's electric vehicle companies like NIO and Xpeng can also be brought in, creating an all encompassing all connecting lifestyle.
When the US decided to start a tech war, it forced China to be self-reliant, from there Chinese systems will be a global competitor to American ones. to think you can shut out 20% of humanity is laughable.

China sees the future in how they think. Once we in the USA thought that way. I remember graduating, the USA just landed a man on the moon. The future was bright filled with delight. The people were living better, we were all sharing the wealth. Today we keep giving money to the old line industries to keep them alive. But so little investment into the future. You wonder why the youth of today are lost in a daze. Look at the congress, old, rich, set in their ways, extracting from the economy, building guns, bombs, supporting an overstuffed military. Giving the youth nothing to dream about, all they see is the corruption of the rich and wealthy as the people struggle just to survive.
