Is Hogwarts Legacy Canon?
I give my thoughts as to why I believe that Hogwarts Legacy is NOT canon. It may, however, follow the Harry Potter movies. There is one key difference that makes me believe this. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section!

when Harry and Voldemorts wand link their spells become gold which did not happen in the movie. So I doubt that when Dumbledore and Voldemort fought in the movie they were using Priori Incantatem. It was just their spells colliding. As seen here when Priori Incantatem is used: jet of green light issued from Voldemorts wand just as a jet of red light blasted from Harry's - they met in midair - and suddenly Harry's wand was vibrating as though an electric charge were surging through it; his hand seized up around it; he couldn't have released it if he'd wanted to - and a narrow beam of light connected the two wands, neither red nor green, but bright, deep gold. Also throughout the books when there’s a fight, there is writing where peoples spells collide

And yet, in the books, no other wands connect.

Obviously not every single thing you do is canon , and they will most likely have a canon “definitive” ending similar to how fallout does
