The video failure is not related to MovieCart - it just happens on my Atari, likely because it's really old. It happens often when I have it on for more than a few minutes
Perhaps get its capacitors replaced with new ones, that should fix any errors with any old tech. Those dissipate and die over time which causes death of the tech or errors or things such as tape decks to lose their high end or low end and such over time as the capacitors wear out and die. Replacing those could restore it to its youth!
